Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

Chase patted Joseph on the shoulder and shook her head. She leaned in to whisper: "I gave her the task to fight her, No outside help, got it?" Meruin, for her part never even considered asking. "No thank you, mister Joseph. Besides, I'm not quite fighting her, isn't that right?" she said looking at Mithrail.
David cocked a single brow. Was she mute? Well, it wouldn't be good to pry . . . "Yep, me too. The people back at my place thought it would be better for me to relax like a kid every once in awhile," he stated with a grin. "So, what's your names?" he said, referring to both Autumn and Alison.
Meruin nearly snorted. Sol was taking it easy on her and he paid the price. If he actually used magic, Meruin had no doubt the fight would be so one-sided. Then again, the girl had yet to display any of the other abilities attributed to Celestial's - like flight for one. Those tornadoes however . . . "I'll keep that in mind," responded Meruin evenly. She would win, regardless of whatever cards Mithrail had hidden. She just had to make sure her cards were better.
David did a little stretch, mostly because he felt like it. It's been awhile since he went far from the orphanage. He wondered if Rina or Meruin were doing fine. He sighed; now wasn't the time to think about old friends - it was the time to make new ones! Speaking of which, he approached Autumn, her twin and Jackie. "So, is this your first time doing summer camp?" he asked. Heh, Autumns was pretty tiny, almost as small as Meruin was.
Meruin gave Tyler a withering glare. He did that on purpose! She cleared her throat to answer her. "Nothing. My friend is a bit biased about my abilities, that is all." She of course refrained from actually saying Mithrail was better than her; even Meruin had her pride, and of course, she agreed with Tyler: if they fought, she would win.
David just chuckled at Jackie's answer. Feeling the person beside him move, he inched away a little to give him room to see her face. "Sorry, did I disturb you?" Before an answer could be given, the the bus pulled over, and the counselors - weird, in-sync twins - called them out. David lifted his large duffel bag and waved at Jackie and Autumn. "Well, I guess this is our stop, eh?"
"Nice to meet you, Jacki. As for me? Well, I guess I'm a student, but I do construction work and some heroism on the side," he said jokingly . . . well, half-jokingly.
Meruin remained unaffected by her jabs and just stared at Mithrail. Sighing, she apologized. "Apologies for bumping into you, I was a little preoccupied. Congratulations on winning your fight by the way," she added, not really caring about her victory.
David grinned and held out a large hand for a shake. "David Alexander Robin, but just call me Dare. And you are?" It was nice to know that there were people who weren't too shy to introduce themselves. It would have been awkward if that were the case.
Who are waiting for to post anyhow? If there are none, I'll make a post myself :(
