Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

Added Mario as a character, Violet. Will get started on post now.
Jose wanted badly to just do as Anselma and Miki did, to simply crash into a bed and fall into a long, deep sleep, but he forced himself to stay awake an alert. He'd given his word - he would keep watch until it was determined it was safe. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw the other companions of Anselma looking for food and supplies. He hoped that they would have spare bandages, his hands hurt like hell.

Currently, there was nothing out of the ordinary, and as the clocked ticked by, slowly but surely Jose was falling asleep. The young man slapped himself awake. He considered asking one of the others to switch with him, but decided against it. He wasn't part of their group; they wouldn't trust him. He resolved to keep awake for awhile longer.
Meruin sat in front of a marble table just outside the cafeteria and close to where she and Deus had their conversation. A magic circle was drawn all over the entirety of the table, and glowing slightly. Meruin was opening up a channel over a ley-line to contact Master Reina and Lady Chase. She smiled inwardly. It had been far too long since she had last talked to them.

In but a moment, the magic circle on the table flared to life, and two hazy screens floated in the air to Meruin's left and right.

"Aah, Meruin, my dear apprentice, it's been awhile since you've contacted me. Is everything going well?"

"Gyahaha~! Meruin, so nice of you to call me! Though I see you've also chosen to give Reina a little ring~ So, what is it you need, Little One~?"

The new voices came from Meruins right and left respectively. Accompanying them was the live images of two people - a tall, silver haired woman, wore wore simple white long robes, whose hair reached past her heels and flowed across the floor; the other woman was comparatively short in height, and decked almost completely in golden articles of clothing, from the golden ribbons the tied the sides of her shoulder-length hair together in a braid, to the golden silk skirt adorned with designs that seemed to change with every angle.

Despite the physical differences between the two, however, what was common between them was the unmistakable and oppressive aura of power that the two of them possessed. Although the people staring at Meruin through the screen were mere projections of women who were so far away, they weren't even in her dimension, the power of their aura reached across space time and flooded through Meruin's spell.

Alone, this aura was already terrible to even the most veteran of mages, but together, it was downright suffocating. Meruin, however, was long prepared for this, thus the barriers around her kept her from collapsing like she did so many years ago. The same could not be said for the people around her.

Students of all ages and abilities in an area of ten meters suddenly started dropping like flies, caught by surprise by the sudden air of oppressive power. Some were gasping for air, while others had simply passed out from exhaustion. Meruin furrowed her eyebrows. Unless asked, her Master and her masters rival were loathe to keep their aura's under control, and Meruin couldn't project a barrier big enough or strong enough to protect everyone around her.

Such thoughts escaped her mind for the time being as she faced the two most important people in her life with a smile. "Greetings, Master Reina, Lady Chase; it has indeed been far too long," she said, bowing at the waist slightly. "I'm in good health, and things are going smoothly for me, however I'm in need of advice over a recent affair . . ."
Jose should have been bothered by Miki's appearance, but in all honesty, she was not the weirdest nor the most repulsive thing he had seen today.

"Very well, take what you need; there is plenty of supplies here," answered Jose simply. "Take what you need, and if you can, spare me some supplies," Jose wasn't an idiot - he slow, but not stupid. Unfortunately, he was also altogether too caring. The fact that he was willing to give all the supplies here to Anselma's group was proof of that. It didn't matter to him; in his own mind, they were in need of the supplies more, especially with the condition Anselma was in."Bandages in particular would be nice," he continued, gesturing with his wrecked fists. "As for where you can stay, I am unsure about the higher floors, but the first and second floor halls and rooms are free of undead."

I've made sure of that, he added silently in his head.

Looking at Anselma and Miki, he creased his forehead in worry. He tossed Amaya a ring of keys that hung from his pockets. Obviously, they were the keys to the hotel rooms, straight from the front desk. "I think that you should rest as well, Miss Miki, you're not looking very good either," he said, staring sternly at the girl, before turning to Amaya again. "There is unsoiled food in the canteens, Miss Amaya. It's sparse, but it's better than nothing. Get someone else to scavenge for them. I think you should look after Miss Miki and Miss Anselma.

Without another word, he descended down the stairs. In his own mind, Anselma had done him a favor, and had helped him out of a tight spot. He would pay her back thrice as much; he had no plans of his own asides from 'survive' so simply following her and her group until the debt was paid was good enough for him.
Should I get a post up or do I have to wait for the others to reply?
Supernatural History was a bit more intersting than language, but not by much - just enough to hold his attention.

Still, David was hoping things would get more interesting by the time his third class rolled in. Ability Control was a class he was definitely something he was looking forward to.
@joeycbee PTSD?
Aaaaaaw yeah~!!! Here comes Reina and Chase again! xD

Anyway, on the Ryan Coup de Tat idea, we might have to wait for Jel to give his own ideas for that. That asides, I think it would also help productivity if we made shorter plot ideas. You know, like short but intense events, however, it's limited and should probably only majorly involve 2 or 3 characters. Anyway, these events could have long term effects but generally only last for a bit.

The current set-up with Meruin and Deus seems like a good way to start something like this. Also, I'll finally be back to being more active here~! :3
@BranchOfSin

Meruin's eyes widened a bit as she listened to Deus's request. That was the only indication of surprise on her face, and she quickly adopted her stoic expression once more. What he was basically asking for was discipleship - Wait, no, that's not right. He's not asking anything as deep as that, she thought.

After experiencing Deus's abilities and discovering his lineage, it was fair to say he had no small amount of talent, however, it was also true that he didn't seem to have much experience with controlling it. Meruin considered the possibilities of teaching him. On one hand, it would be an interesting experience, on the other, it could end up disastrous for both of them.

Ultimately, it was not a question of how good a student Deus was, it was how good a teacher Meruin would be. There was a long silence as Meruin considered his question, looking at it from various angles and trying to predict the probability of a good outcome. In the end, she sighed.

"I will have to consult my own master about this," she replied honestly. That was the conclusion she reached. She would ask Master Reina for her opinion. She may even ask Lady Chase. If their verdict was that she was qualified to teach someone else the ways of magic, then she would do so without hesitation.

"I'm unsure of my own ability to pass on knowledge, Deus, so I'll need some time to consult my Master. If her opinion is favorable, then I will likely accept your request," said Meruin. "If it is not favorable, however, then perhaps I can still ask her for a solution for your problem."
Does this still have available spots~? :3
