Actually, I was going to put 20' Rattlers with hypnotizing rattles in the Atlanta outskirts. With 30' Kingsnakes that could crush and eat Yao Guai.

GUESS WHO ISN'T SLEEPING TONIGHT!

I'M JUST GONNA WALK OVER HERE AND LAY IN THE FETAL POSITION WHILE SOBBING

Just an idea for when we get to Philly: as one of the few groups not to be seriously effected by the bombs, Amish have taken over, through cultural spread, not militarily, as they are pacifists. At least having Lancaster relatively untouched and the people still living relatively the same would be pretty cool. Kind of a commentary on how the technologically advanced people lost it all, when the backwards people survived. Not sure how they'd survive raiders, though. Probably feed them, give them supplies, treat their wounds, and say goodbye.

I actually agree with that... that is an awesome idea... The amish would be the best suited for a situation like this so they would practically thrive once they adapted... They could be horrible xenophobic, and refuse to allow any technology at all in their civilization (So the bot's fucked, as is anybody with energy weapons) And they could have a kill-on-sight rule for mutants...

Or maybe they all have some form of mutation...

I wanna see some mutated horses... That was one thing I wished fallout would do: Add more mutated wildlife... Not just livestock and some stupid scorpions rats and mole rats....

What about Deer? I could see a stag going the route of a bighorner... Getting to the size of a clydesdale, with razor sharp antlers... Hawks large enough to carry off a small child... Massive *shudder* snakes... now that I have that last one in my head I can just picture an eastern diamondback with a rattle as thick as my head...

Hello anyone here?

Yes we're here...

With your app in it's current state I find it unlikely that it will be accepted.

This RP is holding a high-casual standard and, no offense, your app looks like it was thrown together in five minutes.

How could a super mutant fit in "LA Riot armor" when they're three times the size of any human?

And you should at least try to get a little more backstory... just saying "He did odd jobs for money. Ended up in california, got turned into a super mutant. after the master was beaten he roamed around and helped people" that doesn't tell anything about the character...

You should think of everything that happened to the character during his... 144 year long life. there HAD to have been a good amount of stuff that shaped him into what he is this day.

Sorry, I dont mean to sound like a bitch but there's a good chance that's what's gonna be said about it if the GM takes a look... I don't wanna leave you hanging.

Sorry Lone, good point, I totally forgot about that. I guess since your character isn't a doctor it slipped my mind. Between Hayley and Ellie we should be good then medically, though I'd still be happy to have a full on M.D. on board for major surgeries

Well the way I intro'd my character, and her backstory made her pretty much a doctor. The only reason I didn't say she is STRICTLY a doctor is because:

1) She's from the Pitt. They are built on top of a heavy raider background and nowhere near enough time has passed for them to actually escape that background. Therefore, although they HAVE civilized somewhat, I was trying to have her be a rough-and-tumble kind of character rather than a labcoat. She's meant to be more of a field medic "Make do with what you've got" kind of healer. Hence why she was hesitant to use any Med-X on Rebecca during our entry post because she's used to having next to no supplies and she didn't deem a superficial wound like that worth using med-x on (even though Rebecca being "A fucking pussy" in her eyes made her use it because she realized her companion couldn't take pain like most Pitt soldiers could.) and she knew that there was always a possibility way down the line that they would REALLY need the meds.

2) Nobody else knew how to pick a lock >.> I don't believe a single character here, other than my own, has the lockpicking skill. So I figured that it would fit in with the brutal field medic thing, claiming that on more than one occasion she had to actually break into a hospital (Seeing as you wouldn't be able to just tear down the doors or shoot the lock open) to get supplies or access to tools they didn't have.

Lonepup, I can answer this IC, but I just wanted to let you know, the trolley is NOT a subway. Trolleys travel above ground, not below. The trolley levitates above the ground due to the electromagnetic fields generated by the UNDERGROUND "rail". We'll be traveling across the surface, not under it. Sorry for any confusion.

My bad >.> I was picturing like... a metro or something

My point is still valid regardless... a building or something falls on the rail we'd still splat into it if there isn't an emergency stop

I'm currently lacking a doctor.

Skills:
Primary: Sneak, Lockpick.
Secondary: Medicine

Uuuuuhhhh...

I should have switched lockpick and medicine going by the way I've been having her so far... but still >.> one of her main skills is medicine... She' just really brutal when it comes to it
Ellie had just given Rebecca the one fingered salute when the entire room went dark.

As soon as the lights cut out, Ellie was on high alert. Dropping to a knee, her right hand pulls her hood up over her head, putting her face in shadow as she makes herself as small of a target as possible, her coat billowing out to make her form hard to discern under it. Her left hand grabs her rifle and flips it up under her arm, strap sliding down as she presses the butt against her shoulder and she stays there for a minute, holding her breath as she listens to her surroundings... Once the monitor flicked on, she'd pivot on her knee and aim right at it, her iron sights lining up with the man's nose before she realizes what it is and lowers her rifle,

When the lights come back on, she slowly rises, rifle still at the ready as she looks around warily, seeing people start taking the chairs in front of the monitor... She chooses instead to back up and press her back against the wall, watching the new guy from the shadow of her hood listening to him introduce himself and the face on the Monitor... So that's Mr. House? A man too cowardly to even show his face in front of those he hired... How the hell could he expect people to work for him if that's how he does things?

She already hated the man.... but knowing that this was the best way for her to find out information, she just ran with it... Sitting back and silently listening to his shpeal... the three lines, we're expendable... yadda yaddda yadda... he made it sound like they were going to their deaths... of course that was the cause almost any time you leave your home anymore, but it was never nice to be reminded of the fact.

As the time for questions arises she just sits back and silently listens to the others ask theirs... She was hoping for the northern line... would be the easiest way to get back home and report in... But that was when she started to actually thing; what were the odds that these tunnels hadn't caved in? If the power stations pretty much just slingshot you to the next, then if the tunnel had collapsed they'd be completely fucked. The more she thought about it, the more uneasy she became.

"Yea, I got a question, how the hell do you know these tunnels aren't completely trashed? I don't feel like being slammed into a wall of rubble at a couple hundred miles an hour and I doubt anybody else would find that to be an enjoyable experience either"

I thought it was good because i put it on easy like the little bitch that I am.

That doesn't make you a bitch... Only a masochist would play on anything but >.<

I've played through everything on Hard until I got to Point... And then I kept getting my ass kicked by those inbred fucks... pretty bad when they can take a missile to the face and do nothing but sneeze from the smoke...

My main problem with it was the Swamp people. Even at the end of the game, they'd use up my ammo trying to kill them.Whenever I used to start a game, I'd do Operation Anchorage or The Pitt, then the other, then I'd play through, including Broken Steel, and do Point Lookout at the end. I never figured out the point of it, so I didn't technically finish it. I also didn't have Mothership Zeta, but from what I read it looked awesome.

Eh not so much... After doing mothership zeta it would break the rest of the game so bad... any other weapons would be completely useless when you have the named alien weapons

I disliked that DLC the most.2spooky4me

I dunno what it was about that DLC but I didn't like it either =/ Compared to the others it was just really... meh...

Sure there's a whole new map but there's just not really much to go with it... Mothership zeta had the awesome weapons and a freaking space ship along with a great story.. The Pitt had an AMAZING story and some good moral mind fucks... Operation Anchorage was a great story and got a bunch of cool shit from it. Broken steel... is kinda fourth on my list from FO3... (Pitt, anchorage, mothership, Broken steel, lookout) it wasn't bad but it kinda felt half assed
