Markus had fallen asleep for only a mere moment. As he shot awake he noticed Castitas was gone, "Castitas?" He searched around for the priestess with no luck. "Damn, I was suppose to protect her!" He turned and punched a near by tree cracking the bark a little. He sighed deeply, calming down and sitting up against the tree. "Every time I try to do the right thing I find a way to ruin it." The knight ran a hand across his face, tears welling up in his eyes. What if she? No he couldn't think that way. She told him she could handle herself, so he shouldn't worry, right? Even so a small voice nagged at him, telling the young knight that his companion was a goner. Suddenly the sound of foot steps arose, but not just one set of foot steps, two. He shot his gaze over to a saddened Castitas and a... well he wasn't sure what it was. All he knew was it was some kind of hound and it looked dangerous, well besides the fact that it looked like it had seen a ghost. Markus was about to rush forward and attack the thing, but in that kind of state even the most vicious creature isn't a threat. He did, however quickly stand up and bolt to Castitas and hold her in a tight embrace, "Oh thank the Gods, you're okay. I thought maybe... you were gone... for good." He buried his face into the priestess neck tears falling down his cheeks, "I promise, I'll keep better watch over you." After a few minutes, he loosened his grip and looked into the young girls eyes, "Are you okay? Do you need anything?" Markus glanced over at the hound, "I don't mean to be rude, but what are you doing with that thing?"
Isu leaned against a wall in a dark alley, his gaze on a small badge in his hands. It had a tomoe symbol on it with a small gem in the middle of said symbol. His face contorted in thought as he recalled the events of attaining the badge. Who was that man who gave Isu the badge? Why give it to him? Was it random or for a propose? The young man chuckled slightly to himself. Who was he kidding, he wasn't at all anything special. That strange man had to have given it to him randomly. It was odd, after he was given the badge, it seemed as if he could move more fluently than before. He stopped falling over his feet like he use to, he seemed to be able to run faster too. Isu shook his head, all of this was way too weird for him.

Suddenly someone rounded the corner looking quite angry at Isu. "Hey! You still owe me some money!" Isu jumped, his attention moving to the person who was yelling at him.
"What?" The young man placed the badge in his pocket and stood up right.
The other person started to advance toward Isu in a fit of rage, "You owe my money you no good slacker!"
Isu backed away a bit, "Wow, um I think you got the wrong.." He wasn't able to finish his sentence as the other person swung a fist at him. It was strange it was almost as if Isu could read the others movements just before they actually did anything. He dodge the punch and bolted out of the alley and around the corner. Isu hid behind a corner as the other person ran the opposite direction of him, still screaming about something. He sighed, sliding down the wall and sitting on the ground. "Well, that was interesting." He ran a hand across his face, trying to process what just happened.
Felix was shocked at the first words Victoria's father said to him. He laughed nervously and scratched the back of his head, "Well, I guess I am a bit smaller than the other knights." He smiled trying to reassure her father that just because he was small doesn't mean he couldn't handle himself. "I'm sorry to have to take your daughter away like this, I really wish she didn't have to leave her family." He looked over at Victoria for a second and then back at her father, "But I promise she is in good hands." He bowed slightly to him showing the respect the man deserved. As he waited for the young girl to say her goodbyes and pack her stuff he stayed near the front door, not wanting to intrude or get in the way of anyone. "It's a lovely place you have here sir." Felix tried to be as friendly as possible in hopes that he could gain the mans trust.
Markus nodded, "We will see." He looked over at the priestess, "You should get some rest, it's been a long day for you." He chuckled under his breath as yawned and snuggled closer to him. "We will get to the details of the plan tomorrow." He watched the woods around them, a shiver going down his spine. He didn't like the look of the forest, it gave him a very uneasy feeling. And it didn't help that it was starting to get cold. The young knight sat thinking about the events in the past couple days, still trying to process what was going on. It seemed like he was the only one who could not understand anything. And did she say orks and fairies? He sighed quietly to himself, what did he get himself into. "I hope you know what you're doing, cause all I can really help with is fighting." He sighed again at his uselessness. All he was ever good for was fighting, yet for some reason he felt like he needed to be here.
Markus nodded, "Yeah probably a good idea." He looked in the direction of where they had came from, "Well, this has just becomes stranger and stranger the more we stay here." He looked toward Castitas, "Are you sure you're alright?" The knight walked over to her and helped her sit on the ground. Sitting next to her and sighing, he looked around his surroundings. He knew he came here to protect the priestess, but after seeing what he had to deal with so far he didn't know how much protecting he could really do. The question of what else was out there scared him the most. What if he couldn't save her next time, what if he gets overwhelmed and dies without getting her to a safe place? The questions plagued his mind and it was visibly seen on his face.
A tomoe symbol is a good idea
What would the engraving look like on the motion badge?
Yeah, I would agree balance and motion has the potential to make some bad ass combination moves.
Felix felt bad, he never really asked what she thought about going. He walked up to her and hugged her tightly, "Now, you listen to me. You are too special and you can do this." He loosened his grip looking into Victoria's eyes, "It's going to be fine, I'm sure the king wouldn't want you to go if he didn't have a reason. And besides, I'll be with you through the whole thing." He let go of her and patted the top of her head, "Come on, let's go get you packed up okay?" He smiled reassuringly. He was excited to get going, but he made it his goal to move at her pace. He could understand her not wanting to go, being that she probably has never left the kingdom. But no matter what he would never leave her behind and would always be there when she needed him.
Felix marveled at the size of the Throne Room, he's been in the room before, but it never ceased to amaze him. He looked at the king bowing a bit, "You summoned us, My lord." The king nodded, "Yes, it seems you two have made quite a bustle when you seemed to disappear from the palace." The king smiled a tad, "Usually I would just let the guards deal with you, but you Felix are an exception. And Victoria, you too have been made an exception for you chose to be a companion of this, soon-to-be-knight." Felix's eyes had a look of question, "I do not wish to interrupt, but what makes me an exception. And what do you mean soon-to-be-knight, you kept refusing me the chance to prove my worth." He king chuckled, "You are the source of most of the trouble around here Felix, your stunts are the reason I held you from your first quest. I wanted to see how you would react to being repeatedly denied, you're different then other knights. Where they have more strength, you have more tactic. And luckily I have just thought of a quest that will fit the both of you." The king raised his hand and a guard walked up to Felix giving him a letter. "I want you and Victoria to take a carriage of supplies to a near by kingdom, the information you need is in that letter and the carriage is by the gates." The king lastly waved his hand at them, "Now go and complete this, your reward will be waiting."

As they walked out of the Throne room Felix scanned over the letter, "Can you believe this! I'm gonna be a knight!" He looked over at Victoria and smiled, "Do you need to do anything before we leave? Say goodbye to anyone or grab anything. We'll probably be gone for a while." He spoke as they stopped just outside the entrance to the palace. He couldn't believe he was going to be a knight. A small voice also constantly nagged him, how did he have more tactics then a normal knight? He was just a knight-in-training. He didn't know much about combat situations.
