Clyde got the wind knocked out of him when Chantelle jumped on him. Catching his breath he slightly smiled, "Thanks, but do what ever you want to do. I don't want to be the reason for you not to do something." He chuckled and rolled slightly making her fall to the ground, "I'll try to not be as miserable as I usually am." He sat back up and yawned, looking over the Chantelle he sighed quietly, "But I will be complaining about the band." He nudged her a little, "And there's nothing you can do about that."
"Hey, don't you start crying on me now." He smiled slightly, placing a hand on her head and messing up her hair, he chuckled. "You look better with a smile." He fell back and laid down on the ground, staring at the sky. "I don't plan on working it out with my family, I don't see anyway of that ever turning out well." He continued to look at the sky blankly and decided to change the subject, "I hope you realize, I'm going to be miserable at that concert tonight." He quietly sighed to himself, "But then again, when am I ever not miserable." He shrugged, "I guess it can't be all bad, I mean I get to see you make a fool out of that drunk chick for a little... Well before you two... You know 'do stuff'..." As he said the last two words he raised his hands slightly in the air making quotations with them.
Clyde froze, surprised about the question. He thought about it for a few minutes, he gave her back the blunt without even taking a puff of it and sighed, "I'm not really in the mood for anything right now." He touched the back of his head again and winced in pain. "You know, I never got to see my siblings after I got kicked out of my house." His voice took on a soft tone. "I wonder what they're up to." Clyde looked up at the sky for a second and then shook his head, "Sorry, forget I said anything it's not important."
Clyde shook his head sighing, he smiled a tad bit, "She's not the only one, I mean good god woman you basically have the entire school body drooling over you." He laughed a little, "You may not think it, but you're lucky to have so many people like you, I mean look at me," He slightly gestured to himself, "Nearly halve the damn people here seem to hate me for some reason." Suddenly some jock walked by kicking the back of Clyde's head, laughing as he walked away. Clyde's hood had fallen of as a result of the kick, sighing he rubbed the back of his head, "Case in point." He didn't put his hood back on realizing it was probably going to fall down through some other means anyway. He sighed a little, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Well the only thing I can think of is to open this thing, but that might endanger all of us." He looked back at Vixen and Kaito, "So our two options are to leave it, or you two exit the room and I open the chest, that will lower risk of multiple casualties and increase the safety of opening it."
Clyde inhaled some smoke, passing the blunt back to Chantelle while he exhaled into the air, "You have a weird way of coping with things." He gently poked her forehead and chuckled, "If you hate the attention so much, why don't you just find a way to get out of it?" He looked around at all the other people walking around and talking, "Yeah, I was better behaved as a kid too, but I guess having parents that did nothing but ridicule me kinda pushed me into being this way." He slightly whipped his head moving his hair out of his eyes, "At least you have a way of using drugs as an escape, I have my damn inhuman like tolerance to the stuff that I guess I just do them as a way to piss of my old man."
Clyde sighed, "Oh come on, a concert." He griped, "I was just saying how bad they were, you were listening right?" Again he pinched the bridge of his nose, which he seemed to do a lot more since he got to this school, "Yeah, fine I guess I'll go." Brushing some of his hair out of his face he turned to Chantelle, "Okay one, yes you do attract a lot of attention, which is nice for me, because that means I can stay out of the spot light and two, I'm not really into the slutty types," He gestured at her, "Not to be rude and all."
Clyde sighed pinching the bridge of his nose.
"This will be interesting." He sat down on the ground and watched as Chantelle talked to the drunk girl. He chuckled a bit, I guess this year won't be all bad, at least there will be some type of entertainment. He thought to himself.
Clyde smoked out on the field with Chantelle, he could her the loud music being played in the gym. He pinched the bridge of his nose stopping an on coming headache, "How do they even think they sound good." He complained, something he tended to do often, "They sound like a dying cow." When the music died down he sighed in relief, "Why did I even come here? I mean really what did I expect from coming here?" he asked himself and looked over to his friend, "This place is so boring." He exclaimed tossing the now finished cigarette on the floor and stomping it out. "Well, okay let me rephrase that... It's boring to me. Not to be rude, but I can already tell you have plans to do 'your thing' with at least 2 people."
Clyde sighed as his name was called. He got up and grabbed his folder and started heading towards the field, he had a bit of a disappointed look on his face, he had a high tolerance for drugs and nothing gave him the same feeling as it gave others. He pulled out the cigarette that Chantelle gave him, pulled out a zippo lighter and lit it. He smoked the cigarette as he walked out into the field. He spotted Chantelle and walked up to her.
"Hey, I'm here."
