I'm assuming your going to come from Carrasoco International airport, to reach any where near Washinton DC, you can land in either:

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, in Baltimore, and in my opinion as a a nearby resident, the best of the three

Dulles International Airport, located 26 miles from Washington DC in Virginia

Reagan National Airport, located across the Potomac River in Arlington Virgina
