So I am incredibly, ridiculously picky when it comes to the roleplays I choose to join. If I can't see myself committing enough time to a roleplay to be able to add to the plot and actually care about it, at that, I'm pretty reticent about joining in the first place. That's why I've made this interest check .. out of desperation, because there's one thing I will never tire of. Well, okay, a few things. But this one thing can be easily made into a roleplay.
The Elder Scrolls.
See, most Elder Scrolls roleplays I see are sandbox. That's nice, but I believe to keep a group of people together and interested you need a common goal. The second trait is the setting. It's almost always set in Skyrim. And, you know, nothing wrong with that - I love me some Skyrim. But I love giving the other provinces of Tamriel equal love as well. I was thinking this roleplay in particular could be set in Morrowind. I have such a great love for the Dunmer and no one else is the biggest nerd when it comes to their lore, but I've never actually ... roleplayed Morrowind style. With a good plot and some great people, I feel like this could work.
I just have an odd request. I don't want to be the GM. I'll be your right hand .. lady. Whatever. Or I'll be just another roleplayer. But I don't want the expectations or the work that comes with GModding an entire roleplay, and frankly, I don't have the energy for it. I'm a full-time college student, and I roleplay to relax - I took a hiatus (which is why none of you recognize me. It's been over two years since I've been on this particular website, but fear not! I've never stopped writing). Having responsibility is not relaxing to me.
Anyway! Detailed plot, Morrowind, cool lore, maybe something to do with Snow Elves. I haven't decided, but I mean, at its heart this will be an Elder Scrolls roleplay. Everyone loves Elder Scrolls. If you don't you're lying.
(I thought about also creating an interest check for a Dragon Age roleplay, but my knowledge of that lore is much more limited, and so would be harder for me to scrounge up a plot.)
