Made an intro post for you, Tiny, if you want.
"Is that the path that you have chosen?" Gabriel sighs, as he watches the prodigal son turn and leave. Slowly, the world around him begins to dissolve into an infinite plain of whiteness, the ground fading away until only the path Mithias walked remained. Before him stood a door made from old black wood, covered in carvings of dragons and other mythical beings. It seemed familiar, as if it had been ripped from some grand mansion, and Mithias realized that this was the door that would lead to his destination. "It would be easier, you know. Stepping over the bodies of the innocent. Without the determination to face your opponent, no matter the cost.... well, the chances are you'll lose. You do know that, right?" No longer, was the voice that of Gabriel. rather, it was significantly deeper, if more benign. Rather, it sounded old, and tired. Mithias got the impression that if he were to look back, he would no longer see the red-clad figure of his father. In reality, of course, it had never been his father at all. That much was clear, as Mithias' repressed memories once more flooded into his mind. His identity, his experiences, his reason for being here..... Bug stood beside him, too, as if he had always been there. It was only now that he was realizing it. "Are you prepared to live according to those ideals, regardless of the price?"
As Ven lands within the construct, the area he landed in immediately begins to shift. Like a giant rubics cube, the blocks of which Mia's lab was composed begin to rearrange themselves, as what was previously the entrance is guided through a series of holes, before once more becoming aligned with other passageways. Ven finds himself unexpectedly facing the entrance to Mia's main lab after this short and shocking journey, the door already open. A lilting voice echoes down the passageway. "Do come in, no need to wait."
Genocide falls backwards, as blasts of energy lash around him, attempting to dodge the incoming attacks. And yet, to the Mad God, it was as if this fool was moving in slow motion. Eventually, Genocide stood shirtless, minor burns covering his skin as he simply glared. It was amazing how unimpressive his powers were, as he had displayed no supernatural tendencies whatsoever. Instead, he simply stood there, panting and sweating as Asura fired his mock shots. "You should have killed me while you could. I have unlocked the power of the infinite nothing, the purest form of existence! I will wield it to -" Suddenly, a mysterious figure steps through the orb, as Genocide turns around. "What? Who are you! You're not supposed to come out! Get back in there, this isn't the time nor the place for you!" Furious. Genocide starts simply walking up to the unwelcome intruder, as if he intended to push him back into the portal directly. Then, he's suddenly anchored in place by the Chihuaha Chain (Yes, I'm calling it that, no, I'm not going to stop.) The world seems to stabilize, as Asura finds himself unexpectedly grounded. Even the simplest of things could anchor one, and even as he was anchored as such, he found that reality followed suit. The room WAS shaking, and it WAS falling apart. The many possible figures stepping through the portal solidified into a single jackass, as the ground solidified into it's normal pattern. Either the effects of the timeline being distorted had been negated, or Asura had simply been made mostly immune to it. Whichever it was, it was a welcome change from the previous sense of confusion. "This all doesn't matter. I've tried this too often to have you ruin it for me now!" Genocide raises both hands, as the orb begins to expand. On the surface, images of times and places far distant can be seen. Slowly, a hand begins to breach the surface of the orb, long and slender, and yet filled with a dark and powerful aura. Several others begin breaching at alternate points, each arm looking as if it belonged to a different ethnicity or even race, and each constantly switching. Some were covered in scales, others had platelike chitin. All were adorned with gold and jewels, radiating that foul power. "This entire universe will be consumed!"
...I'm baaaaaccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk >:D PREPARE FOR CHAOS! I JUST HAD A MASSIVE MENTAL BREAK, SO EXPECT LUNACY, and LUNA-CY!
Welcome back, Tiny! We were worried. Glad to see you're okay.
Here to confirm, I gave Tyki full permission to jump through the Mystery Orb.
If nobody posts by tomorrow, I'll put up a post.
Gabriel sighed, as Mithias turned away from him. "Pathetic. This is why I despise knights. You pick a path, you claim to devote yourself, and yet the moment the going gets rough you abandon it like a lazy schoolchild. I never killed you because I thought you'd learn to do something with yourself, find yourself a little place in this world. I've found mine, Magnus knows his.... even your friend knew his place in the world. And yet, you hesitate with every step you take. You never really decided, you just didn't have the guts to commit yourself to anything." Gabriel flicks his wrist, as a blast of force seems to emanate from him, the ground shaking and tearing beneath his feet. Men and women were launched into the air, as they crashed into walls and floors, the packed masses dissolving into a scrambling stampede of panicked humans, hundreds crushed to death in the sudden tumult. "You pretended to be a brave little SOLDIER, you pretended to be a crusader, you pretended to be my son.... what worth is a son who won't even decide who he is?"
Mia sighs as she glances at one of her many screens. She'd picked up a new signal, apparently aimed at her. This happened with relative frequency, and she hoped it would be someone interesting this time. The last person had attempted to sell her internet, and she'd been forced to eviscerate him as a result. She perked up, however, when she identified the system as coming from a Wayfinder. There were so few of those that it would have to be something interesting - particularly seeing as how she had Micheal in her test area, already beginning to wake up. Mia waved her hand a bit, as the message was transmitted to her directly through electric conduits in the Black Blood. Mia had gained the ability to recognize and decipher pulses of electric energy applied to her black blood, allowing her devices to communicate her in a fashion reminiscent of telepathy. Or, in this case, technopathy. It was most useful for gaining information over long distances, or if she didn't wish anyone to know of the information she had received. Ven noticed a path opening up in front of him, as Mia shifted her torture chambers to the back of her construct, luring the Avatars of Agony away from the front. Ven would be able to approach with relative safety, provided Mia didn't move them back. In the construct itself, barely visible through the fog of eldritch energy, a large door opened to admit physical access.
A blast of energy shot past Genocide, as he shouted and jumped sideways. And even as the beam of energy struck the massive white sphere in the centre of the room, it seemed to cease to exist entirely, as if absorbed into the sphere. Genocide lies on his side, his suit on fire as he desperately attempts to douse the flames. There was no doubt that the blast, had it been aimed at Genocide, would have vaporized him. And yet, he seemed to be surrounded by the mysterious energy of this area, in stark contrast to his previous state as a near nonexistence within the arcane spectrum. Now, he stood out like a neon sign, a focal point for whatever foul enchantment kept this portal-like construct open and functional. "Curse you! Can you not appreciate greatness when you witness it? It worked this time! You fool!" Genocide turns savagely, having managed to douse the flames on his suit. His eyes seem to glow slightly, a pale grey luminescence echoing like a storm. "It will be mere moments before the cycle is broken. You cannot fathom the freedom you are about to receive, as you are released from the ties of existence." As he raises a hand, the room begins to tremble, and yet stops trembling simultaneously. It's as if there were two Asuras, one standing in a trembling room, the other in a silent one. And Asura, at his core, was aware of both. Each an equal possibility, each an alternate course of reality, each existing in it's own fashion. And yet, now, they seemed to be touching each other, or rather the walls separating these timelines was being eroded. The timeline was collapsing.
