@kishin asura You do realize I redid Toguro, right? He's no longer a living black hole. He's also dead - Creed killed Toguro after 5 killed Kevin. There were big splosions, and both of them just kinda sploded. I simply stated I would throw in more mooks. There never was any real impossibility. I just realized that it was getting depressing, being constantly faced with things that were nearly impossible to defeat. As such, I needed more mooks - easy victories and the perfect chance for your characters to look like a badass. The main threats will retain more-less their current level of power, I'm not suddenly making this much easier on you guys. However, there is always at least one way out, usually at least three. Some of them may surprise you. Also, your apology is completely accepted. I apologize for being a bad GM as well - despite my experience, I still make mistakes. And I've simply been too hard on you guys.

I would opt to disagree. It was harsh, but not unreasonably so, considering the reaction. However, I am in a good mood, and a shitstorm has just passed. I have no intention of reviving any form of conversation on the topic.

Okay, can I just say, I have no idea what exactly happened, but I don't think it's fair people seemed to be sort of ganging up on Kishin there? Sure he went a bit overboard, but he admitted that. And like Matt says, he's not the first to do that. I'm pretty sure Matt's done it at least once (on the original thread I think?) I get that it's fixed now and stuff but it just sort of seemed unfair...

Yeah, but the CS as provided doesn't have options for many of the things I would like to specify within my character's CS. Such as his body armour and physical capabilities. But if it's really necessary, I'll change the format.

Like I said, I'd love for you to stay. And flipping out like you did is not inexcusable, not by a long shot. Hell, Tiny's flipped out more than once. I have no lasting grudge, and I hope we can both forgive and forget? That said, I have also taken heed of your advice. I'm planning on making the odds a little less insurmountable. I've just been creating massive, unobtainable goals one after another, and while this is good, I don't think I've given you guys enough time to be badass. As such, I shall attempt to reintroduce mooks, easily killable bad guys that you can wreck without more than half a thought.

@kishin asura I created HCL, I have run HCL since it was put together. I'm not sure if you got the memo, but practically every single story that has ever occurred in HCL has been GMed and run by me. When Tiny was GM, he asked me for help, and I helped him as such. I'm sure you have issues, but if you're going to insult my Gming you've got to realize you're making a declaration against 80% of everything that has ever happened within HCL, hell more if you count the amount of time before you even joined. Not a solution? There are a hundred! Fight off the Daemon, who are weakened due to existing outside their source of power. Close the hole using knowledge gained from defeating Genocide, or perhaps figuring out what the hole is! If you can't solve this problem it's not because I haven't created a solution, there are more than one I've previously generated. But perhaps the fact that you have actively chosen to cease participating in the story. Do you know how many characters I've killed off? Two! One of which was unintentional! Kevin was supposed to be a singular example, which I only even did because I knew Creed had other characters to play. Had Creed made a statement, then I would have reversed it! A sadistic prick? Really? What have I done that I warrant being insulted to that extent? I am currently very tempted to simply kick you out. But I'm not going to. If you leave, it is fully of your own volition, because you were no longer enjoying the stories being written here. You are fully within your rights to go do something else - roleplaying is intended to be fun, and if you're not having fun there is no point. If you have issues with my methods or what I do, then I will welcome any constructive criticism you have for me, provided you manage to leave out the insults and shouting. But here's my rule. This post is the last one with shouting. If you reply to me, do so in reason. If you start some kind of shitstorm and ruin the rp for me, and potentially others, because you're not enjoying it, then you're out. I would love to keep you around, but I'm doing this because I love writing stories for people. And if you're ruining that for me, then you're going to have to go.
