Even as Absolis, Kolon and Ika marched off towards the Imperial Palace, a large glowing portal opened up in front of the group. Out stepped the hulking figure of Apocalypse, an immense hulk of grey flesh and bone spikes. The creature took a moment to observe the three new figures in front of it, even as the small group no doubt took a moment to assess the fact that what appeared to be a giant grey hulk ripoff had just stepped out of nowhere. From behind him a small redheaded figure waved enthusiastically, before disappearing from view, the portal closing. There was just a moment of silence, the weirdness creating a mandatory pause.

Apocalypse's senses are as strange as they are useful, allowing him to perceive things well beyond the range of most beings. Perhaps it was through some unknown sense that the creature was able to assess Kolon as a worthy adversary, or at the very least a threat, detecting it's immense intelligence, or perhaps the energy radiated by the nigh infinite supply of explosives it somehow carried with it. Or perhaps Apocalypse just didn't like cats much. Whatever the reason, the creature shot forward to destroy the fuzzy flufball, instantly accelerating to mach 1.2, the explosive crack of the sound barrier shattering reaching the ears of the threesome a fraction of a second after his immense fist, aimed to turn the genius cat..... thing into a thin red mist.

Time seemed to slow to a matter of microseconds as Apocalypse accelerated impossibly rapidly, his movements on a level higher than even the highly advanced mind of a super-scientist was able to react. It was a close range attack, Doomsday had been standing no more than 10 meters away. The chemical reactions between neurons in the brain simply weren't able to keep up with such immense speed, the sight centers in the brain barely finished decoding the information received from the optical nerve when the fist would first make it's bone-shattering impact with the fuzball's skull. It was only a moment nature that two of the three would become fully aware of the events that had transpired in that fraction of a second, their brains finally catching up.

Of course, Kolon would most likely have some defensive mechanism prepared. A force field, an automatic reactive teleportation mechanism, or perhaps a more offensive solution. But before whatever system he would use was put into action, it's probability of success became irrelevant through the sudden intervention of a certain squid girl. A series of blue tentacles slammed into the brute from the side at Mach 3, the impact lifting him off of his feet and launching him through the walls of a nearby building. While Ika Musume's strength was nowhere near Apocalypse's levels, her speed was almost 3x his, and she had no problem keeping up with the Perfect Being.

Ik Musume: Saviour of the multiverse.

Of course, such things didn't last long. "That was a good hit, girl. It seems I overestimated your companions." Apocalypse stepped out from the hole he had made, completely unharmed. The creature grinned, revealing a row of sharp, bonelike portrusion that served as teeth. "But a hit with that little power won't be enough to harm me, no matter the speed it moves at. Let's see how long you can last before I rip you to pieces, shall we?" Laughing, Apocalypse prepared to charge once more, this time aiming his full efforts at Ika Musume. No longer possessing the element of surprise, this would have undoubtedly been a dangerous fight for the squid girl, perhaps even lethal. However, luckily for her, she had quite capable backup.

Absolis and Kolon are in NYC, right?

In terms of Strength, Satsuki could lift a Metal Gear with one hand, with ease. We're talking about moving a blade so fast that the friction formed by the blade moving through air superheats the air to such an extent that the outwards expansion causes an explosive burst of energy capable of destroying an entire building. She never even TOUCHED it. The amount of force required to do that is so immense, it makes juggling metal gears look like a hat trick by comparison.

Kamui does drain the strength of users, but Satsuki is able to continue fighting full-tilt for days on end. And hitting her will do only minor harm that is instantly repaired, and that's when you use a weapon of similar destructive power to her own sword strikes. There's a reason she's on the list of people who could beat Doomsday. She's OP as shit, and nearly impossible to defeat by someone unaware of her weakness. The only way to harm her is through the use of attacks that target her internal body, her mind, or her soul.

Yeah, the vibro sword is sturdy. But one of her strikes carries more kinetic energy than being hit by a tank at the speed of sound, concentrated into a super-thin edge. That's probably an underestimate, too.

And yes, life fibers are silly to fight against. Kill La Kill is from the Gurren Lagann school of writing, whereby you try and make the most ridiculously overpowered fights you can.
@Mtntopview
Apocalypse with Dark Energon powers. Yeah, that's going to work out well for EVERYBODY.
@Absolis
Again, it has to be used in a scissor motion in order for it to do anything. But yeah, almost.
@Absolis
Also, mind if I port Apocalypse to the Richardverse? Seems like it would be interesting. Although with most of the Heavy Hitters out in Arcadia, I'm not sure they have anything that could hold him off.

My other thoughts are moving him towards Kolon (smoldering ruins of friendship), or having him thrash the Goa'uld.
@Savato
Considering the fact that Satsuki is able to rip apart entire buildings with the shockwave caused by a single swing of her sword..... her strength is so much beyond sam's that they're not even in the same league. And again, it's impossible for him to even harm her without using two swords and using them like scissors, a weakness so arbitrary there's no way he'll figure it out. While he might be able to outmatch her in speed, there's no indication he's superior in skill. Combat experience I might grant you.

First hit Satsuki lands, she's going to go straight through the Vibrosword, and straight through everything behind it. The only question is whether he'll be able to have his blade uselessly strike her before she annihilates him.
@Mtntopview
Considering that's about as far from canon as you can get, I would estimate that the only reason it had the effect it did is because of bad writing, and nothing more.

However, if dark energon were to function by that rule, it would most likely infect Apocalypse. However, as Apocalypse is nigh-indestructible, and a force of evil, and the Dark Energon seems to possess some measure of intelligence, it is more likely to attempt to turn him into a user than it is to inflict any harm on him. If it did become harmful, I doubt it could do much before Apocalypse adapted to it and became immune.
@Mtntopview
The link you linked shows a list of effects. And yet all of them seem to exclusively apply to mechanical beings.

@Absolis
That might make it a slightly more interesting fight. Do keep in mind that Apocalypse's speed is actually greater than it was at first, currently at bout 400 m/s (mach 1.2). His strength was increased by the same factor when he regenerated from his first defeat, and he will continue to increase in power with every regeneration.
@Mtntopview
Dark Energon, from what I can find on it, only affects mechanical beings.

@Absolis
During that battle, that was indeed a weakness. Although his eyes can still withstand tank cannon level attacks. It would certainly be amusing to see Cyano trying to kill Apocalypse, although in a direct physical confrontation I doubt she would last long.
