Jaquel was ravaged in sleep by thoughts that were alien to him, and ideas that weren't his. A forgotten life, that he had never lived, played out amidst the dreamscape. He fought and killed and loved and lived a thousand times, his mind mapping out a variety of lives, thrown into chaos as some new tiny detail emerged from the black blur that was his previous life. A scarred thing, a hole in his soul, tormenting, taunting, so close yet so far away. However, one thing was clear, through all of this chaos, the unknown which crashed in on his mind the moment he stepped through that portal. His devotion to Kami. He had always felt it, and he always would. It was a fixed point, a handhold, holding him above the crashing waves of half-forgotten whispers and dreams.
Kami slept soundly, regaining his strength, as the explanation went on, hearing none of it. However, as he did, energy once more began to crackle around him, and both Ashleys knew he would regain consciousness within the hour. Or at least normal Ashley did. The Ashley from Fear was still wondering why there was a lightning man on the bed.
As Aissyle stood watch, slowly, fatigue crept up on him. Partly natural, the mind's reaction to the storm of new sights, thoughts and experience that the day had brought, but an odd part was an almost supernatural compulsion to sleep. A silent whisper, urging him towards the land of dreams. Within moments of his solitary watch, his head was nodding, and his eyes drooping, no sound in the silent night to disturb his descent into slumber. He didn't even have the presence of mind to wonder about the complete silence, which should never occur in a bustling city such as Hope, regardless of the hour. Then, he was hit by blackness.
Kami smiled, as Aisyle awakened in his bed in Fear, in the suite she had given him. The night was young, and there was a scent of cherry blossoms in the air, a memory from the day Aisyle started Fault, a scent that had been ingrained into his mind. Simply from that scent, and the lack of any obvious source, it became clear that he had not, in fact, been transported to Fear in his sleep. This was part of the dream, although it remained to be seen just how dangerous a dream could be. "I see you understand your situation. So quickly, you really were a worthy opponent, Aisyle." Kami smiles, a cup of wine in her left hand as she sits on the corner of the bed. She twists her hand constantly, the wine swirling around, a miniature whirlpool, drawing the eye. "It took me a lot of money to get this connection, even with the link I placed in your mind. In short, listen up. I don't have all the time in the world."

I don't know how to jump in to all of this, unless you'd be willing to do something like Abaddon stringing this group up as part of the plan to protect hope. They wouldn't be what I had in mind though, so maybe we can work something out.

I'd happily adapt them. I just threw Quicksilver, a character from a picture I saw once, and a villain from a Batman cartoon episode in a team. They can be adapted. However, they're based on the kind of goody-two-shoes heroes that would be rampant in the world of Hope. I doubt Abbadon will find many people who share his vigilante purgist mindset, at least within the borders of the city.

Alright, school has been a bitch but I am back for now. What have I missed?

I've introduced a group of superheroes who protect Hope.
It would fit surprisingly well. Kami's lightning form gives him the ability to move at the speed of light, or slightly under it (due to friction).
Ignoring the fool, Jaquel stands, finishing his beer, and moves to his room. "I'm going to sleep. The rest of you can do whatever you want."
Johnathan holds up a hand, and makes a gesture. After a moment of confusion, the vampires produce machine guns and move into a crescent circle formation around Magnus, holding their guns ready to fire. "A concentrated hail of fire. No way to dodge. If I'd shown one more finger, you'd be dead by now. The difference between us is that you're not prepared to kill me, or I'd be dead right now." Johnathan walks away, as he begins preparing plans for something that looks like a smaller version of the Vampire Tank, as the vampires oddly disperse, chuckling about the oddness of formation combat.
I'm not sure rekilling is appropriate, as I just replayed his death scene. But thanks to Wizardgirl, apparently Kami is back in business....... This is going to go wrong in SO MANY WAYS!
((Holy Shit. Did you just bring Kami back? Lightning God Kami?! HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!
*Spastic attack*))
Kami looks up, and sighs, deciding he must be seeing double, as he drops down in your bed to sleep, exhausted. You can feel the hair on your arms stand on end as static electricity flows towards Kami, regenerating him slowly.
Jaquel sighed, and turned. "I'm going to sleep. No need to tire ourselves to death. With any luck, the Power Police will focus their attempts on Wiper. I have yet to see the task force that can take down the greatest assassin in Fear." With this simple statement, Jaquel retires, making a bed for himself out of old discarded newspapers, his mask seeping away to nothing.

It makes sense that a vampire that old would have a wiki page.

He continues to retaliate, throwing whatever spells he has at the both of them with his left hand."Ngh...this..isn't me...please...you gotta..set my heart free.." He struggles to say.

Sighing, Jaquel leans down, and hugs the stranger, his anti-magic completely destroying the demon, or at least banishing it. Depends on whether the demon flees the dude's body on time. Jaquel, however, really doesn't care about the lives of demons, and he stands up. "I'll take a free beer for saving the building." The barkeep doesn't even complain, as he pours Jaquel a beer.
