"Very well, very well." Deus sighed. This Red Truth was quite interesting, and he would have loved to learn more. Curiosity was one of his better traits, after all. However, the prospect of doing interesting was quite alluring as well, and as such, he quickly mused on what would be an interesting course of action. "Very well. If we're going to get out of this, we're going to need to learn more about one another. This palace is made from your very own memories, and with your consent, will gladly use more of them. Most of this is just images at the surface of your mind, which you're practically radiating. I'm suggesting we take a walk down a literal Memory Lane, and learn who we all are." Deus grinned eagerly. Not only would this give the group something to do, but surely the memories would take any memories they wished. The process would also grow the Palace, and reinforce it's walls, as it was built from the memories of it's inhabitants.

You just said the same word twice, except the latter wasn't capitalized, and plural. You should elaborate, if you wish us to understand.

I smile "Well i guess she was wrong, she said that you would come quietly since you wanted Hope for your own…but never mind…" I say turning around, but not before squashing the spider "…never try sneaking up on Spider Sense…with a spider…"

As you bring your foot down, the spider ducks to the side, and jumps onto your leg, starting it's slow assent upwards. "Sneak? Why, the spider was in plain view. And Spider Sense would only warn you of anything meaning to directly harm you, like an incoming bullet. I'm far more subtle than that." Kami smiles, as she gestures, and a half-filled glass of wine appears in her hand, which she swirls. "However, I believe you have something to say. Consider me interested. Please do continue." As she speaks, the spider continues slowly moving upwards.
First off, we're going with a problem that you can't shoot or strangle.

This would be a good time to mention my policy with characters. I will screw with your character all I want. You might find yourself missing an eye, or cursed, if you do something stupid. And sometimes simply by failing to avoid a particularly nasty villain. If I build up something as being dangerous, then whenever that thing is "on-screen" all your characters are in danger.
My policy for killing is more lax. I'll only kill your character if you do something really stupid, like charge head-first at an Old God, or jump off a cliff. And even then, I'll usually give warnings before I do. However, your characters are not immortal. As before, the danger level goes up when dangerous events are occurring.

Lastly, if you do something excessively nonsensical, I shall use my power to call Bullshit, and either PM you or tell you in the OOC. If you can convince me of the action making sense, then I'll let you keep it, else it'll have to be adapted or removed. This does not apply to character decisions, simply to things I do not believe would be physically possible, like running 5 miles in as many minutes.
The cave was filled to choking point. Seventeen resistance soldiers, four of which were women, and three of which were heavily wounded. A young lady who was later revealed to be Johnathan's wife tended to the wounded, using the soldier's own medical kits. There were two children, presumably belonging to Johnathan, who were staring with fear at one soldier's limb, which had been ripped of by a particularly vicious inugami. The scent of fear, sweat and blood was thick in the air, and one of the soldiers puked in the corner, adding to the already bad odour of the area. Nobody really spoke, besides in whispers, most of the soldiers being too shocked to speak, having just seen everything they'd hoped for being crushed underfoot. Many of them had never even seen an Old God before, aside from blurry photographs.
Outside, the thrum of soldiers was growing thinner, as the main body of the routed army passed. Johnathan had stopped calling for new arrivals, knowing that his cave could hold no more, and even now it would be a tight fit. Supplies wouldn't hold, and worry was etched clearly onto his face, as he hugged his wife briefly, before turning to address the room. And then he fell silent. In the distance, screams could be heard. Not the wails of the ghosts, but the agonized screams of soldiers being massacred. One man went to the cave mouth to look, and came back white as a sheet. The air filled with the sound of ripping flesh and cracking bone, loose gunfire and explosions. Roars of victory, amidst screams of fear and pain.
The whole spectacle took only twenty minutes, the whole of which passed in silence. Less out of a need to hide than an instinctive fear of speaking during the grotesque massacre, the men stood still, every one pale. By the time it ended, more than one had been forced to the corner to empty the contents of their stomach. There had been an ambush in place. The fleeing men hadn't stood a chance. More than ten thousand good fighting men, massacred, many unarmed and all tired. Johnathan's wife was sitting in the corner, covering the ears of the children, who were trembling wildly, and clenching shut their eyes, as if that would somehow cause the scene to be less horrific. After ten minutes of silence, which nobody wanted to break, Johnathan stood once more, to speak.
"They're all dead. I was never up for the resistance, but they're what kept me 'n mine safe. It's only right that I repay the favour. I'm Johnathan, Mattocks. This is Alice, and the lil' ones are George and Clementine. There ain't much room, and I don't have much, but what I have is yours. I don't know how long supplies will hold, but....." Johnathan looked around, clearly exhausted. It was becoming more and more clear that there wasn't going to be enough food for this many people to stay for any period of time. With the barren monster-filled desert outside, what had seemed to be a safe haven was turning out to be a trap, a slow death instead of a quick one. "Well, I'm sure we'll manage. Justice protect us." The prayer was uttered in desperate tones, and then Johnathan sat back down next to his wife, as she whispered assurances into his ear, both hugging onto one another.

Curious, and blisfully unaware of the problems of supplies, Goerge and Clementine wandered through the cave, trying to keep away from anyone who was severely wounded, or who looked particularly scary. George, the older of the two by three years at ten, led his little sister around. Seeing a girl in the corner, both happily went over to them. While the soldiers, covered in grime and with their expressions of dread were creepy, George was sure that this new girl would be much more interesting. Furthermore, Clementine had tugged on his ragged shirt, which meant she wanted to sit down, and he worked his way through the forest of legs to the edge of the cave, where the girl was sitting all alone. Her strange clothes only made George more intrigued, and despite her fear and natural shyness, Clementine was slowly looking over her older brother's shoulder at the stranger. However, neither child broke the silence, simply staring at the girl.

((Who said that Hope and Fear are the only worlds?))

((There are no known portals to other worlds. However, let's just continue the story.))
Kami smiled down at Ashley, as the spider gradually drew closer, metallic feet clacking against the floor.
Alright, let's get this baby moving.

0-0....................................I just watched the most funniest video known unto man............ Can't breath!

This must be militarized and mass-produced immediately. We will cause mass death through suffocation, using the internet as a weapon. With such a medium, we could kill hundreds of thousands all over the world with no recognizable pattern. THE WORLD WILL BE OURS!

Not everyone is gone wizard xd. I am still around.

I know, and I'm glad you are (=
I was referencing the fact that so many people are leaving at such a rapid rate. ironically, the sheer amount of people caused there to be so little people left.
