Bingo! Cronicles of Narnia is my personal favorite.
Just The Wizard the Witch and the Wardrobe, or the other books as well? Because to me, personally, I liked the first book the most.

Moonbeam stood, bent over, panting. There was no where she could find help, except...the portals? She didn't want to go back in that direction that night. She found a nook and curled up in it, setting up an illusion of a dumpster around her. She fell into a fitful sleep, feeling alone and scared.

((Why am I not surprised.))Elysia clapped a hand over her mouth, Light's insanity must have reached a breaking point much faster than she had imagined. She wandered the halls of the building, she felt like a ghost, there was a trail of tears behind her. She wanted to lay down and die but she continued walking as if she had to, her subconscious forcing her to see what she could do. This was the reason why she had chosen so long ago to lock away her powers, the reason why she was sent to the asylum in the first place, the reason why she escaped the asylum. The sadness was soon replaced by anger, she was not the culprit but she would take the blame. Light would need to be punished, a grin crept upon her face as she walked back to her room. She picked a nurse up off the floor and laid the woman on the bed, and began a soul transfer. While it was more painful than the first time it was even more satisfying especially since she did not faint and was able to admire her handiwork. Light would wake up in a dying body, she would be forced to watch as the body rotted around her soul. When the body eventually became unable to hold Light's soul she would niether pass on nor would she rejoin Elysia and Light, she would be in forced limbo possibly forever.

((it's not infinite, if you were to use something from a different tree (like a sword or life magic) then it'd pass right through, but this thing is deffinantly from the death tree (don't back talk me about my own magic system) so it should be canceled out)) the shell heals his neck as he back flips out of the way, giving up on his pacifist tactic he starts to combine arcanums into varying and elaborate shades and tints as he dodges and weaves, healing close scrapes
