A whole lot of fear, and a decent amount of grief as well. Crying children, crying parents, and the heavily wounded. It's quite definitely the aftermath. Furthermore, you can sense some odd form of energy far off in this dimension which quite probably caused the explosion.

Mia's wounds heal well. However, a remnant of some kind of dark energy can still be felt from her. Not hers, but something else. She was fighting something evil, that much you're certain of.
((This is a choice moment. You can choose to let this odd second Mia die, set her free, or do something else. Each choice will have consequences for the story))

You find the streets in ruin, as it keeps getting colder and colder. The survivors of the cataclysm are looking around for their loved ones, sometimes digging through the rubble. Many are trying to find warmer places, noticing the unexpected cold. Quite soon it's dropped to freezing, and it's still going down.

At the rigin point you find a large cloud of meteorites. There's a strong energy here, a disturbance. However, the oddest thing of all, is the floating girl. Through the vacuum of space floats a beautiful girl. Her hair is long, smooth and black, her eyes bright green and reptillian. She's wearing a shredded labcoat, and she looks like she was beaten up fairly badly. Next to her hand floats a scalpel. Mia looks on the verge of death, floating through space.
