However, this defense was different in the fact that Gilgamesh was not switching through dimensions, and in some other details as well. She smiles, as a portal opens through the dimensional layer Gilgamesh used to defend himself with, and she grabbed his face through it, making contact with the real him before he could launch his barrage from Babylon's Gate. "You have lots of tricks. That's good, having tricks. They let you get out of situations such as this." She smiles, as the constant portal allows her hand to touch him, preventing him from using dimensional travel to slip out of her grip. "So, do you have any that'll stop me from using my brute force to suck your brain dry?" Small funnels of Black Blood were already forming, ready to dig through flesh and bone to enact the threat in a very literal sense.
