As long as something is under the seven heavens a disclosive sketch of its existence can be confirmed by looking in the cup~But regardless, that was just to point out those exist. He also has the original "omniscience granting existence" in the vault. Didn't say he used them. Well, except the last one. That's a passive. But I disgress. Not my fight. You kids have fun.

Looked up Gilgamesh. Neither in the anime nor in classic mythology does he have the ability to know his opponent's abilities. Unless, of course, he has the power to store abilities in Babylon's Gate as well?
Actually, time for research. Fragarach is a sword from Irish Mythology. It's also known as 'the Answerer.' It was forged by the gods, and wielded by several Irish heroes. It's powers are that none can move or lie with the blade at their throat, and that the user can control the wind. It can also cut through any shield or wall, and dealt wounds that would never heal.

Umm..... inconsistent much?

Cup of Jamshid, All Seeing Eye, innate ability to identify opponent's capabilities, take your pick. No, no, bad Guy. Stop posting. Not your fight.

None of which he summoned. Also, at least the Cup of Jamshid, does not grant omniscience. I'm going to start looking up these items.

I take it you won't be compromising then?

Actually, I'm kind of annoyed right now, and should probably cool down before replying to this. I just keep hearing that this dagger can block this, but the explanation just doesn't make sense to me, which is frustrating me.

I'd prefer to finish this argument to my satisfaction before I reply, because right now I don't consider myself in the right state of mind to make such a decision.

You can kill him without using a trump card. A trump card isn't "something that can kill him", it's "the greatest capability" of a being, though this is an oversimplification. There are also ways to beat Fragarach, even if a trump card is used. Blah, I said I wouldn't post anymore. BB already explained this. Etc.

Actually, this hasn't been properly explained that I have seen. Stein's trump card is his intelligence, that's his greatest capability, but that's not a power at all. It's simply what he relies on to win battles. Does that mean it'll rewind time to before he began thinking, and kill Stein before he's born? because that would just be plain silly.

"Continue the attack" Fragarach rewinds to the point before the attack had begun. Stein would need to charge up the entire attack again, and that would be with half of his body missing. Either way, Darkseid is gonna resurrect Stein and Gil remains alive. I don't see any problem to this conclusion.

Well, for one, the fact that Darkseid isn't in this roleplay ^^

And like I stated, God-Killer Resonance isn't a charged attack, it's an instant boost, and, as I clariefied in the IC, the entire attack could be carried out in less than 3 seconds, less if he fires the attack at range instead of moving in close, easily within the amount of time it takes for the human brain to die of oxygen starvation. In fact, that's in the IC post, as one of the mistakes you had made. Also, I was quite nice in how I didn't point out just how much you were meta-gaming when suddenly you magically knew how Stein's soular attacks worked, or when you knew about him having replaced his heart, neither of which your character should have known unless he also has an item that gives him omniscience.

Furthermore, allow me to quote the following:
gilgamesh said
The moment Stein fired the God-Killer Resonance, Fragarach, as the retaliator, would fire. As the very concept of the weapon demanded, the very flow of time and space would be changed so that Fragarach always "hit first", and it would lodge itself in Stein's newly regrown and vulnerable heart. As it had "shot first", as it had reversed causality to strike before the enemy could, the moment Stein fired the God-Killer Resonance Fragarach would fire and return the world to the moment before Stein fired and kill him before he could fire the God-Killer resonance.

The God-Killer Resonance cannot be 'fired'. It is a mere boost. As such, had it targeted the God-Killer Resonance, it would have flown at Stein right then, and tried to kill him the moment before he even activated it. However, what you're blocking is an attack, as you quite specifically mention. You're stating, specifically, that it will strike before he strikes, at which point his defense was already in place.

You're still not getting it, it's-Gah, whatever. BB's far more open to a compromise that results in both Stein and Gil alive at the end of this than I am, so I'll leave this to him as that's probably the nicer outcome for everyone here. He knows everything I do about the matter and more after all, so I doubt my stepping back will cause a detriment.I will however say that you really don't want Gilgamesh to die. Things become very problematic for the whole RP the second he does.

Actually, I really really do. Also, whether or not the dagger hits Stein is irrelevant to whether Gil is dead. Stein can completely ignore pain and most wounds. Even if the dagger completely cleaved him in half, which I find unlikely, simply with a working brain he would have continued the attack, which would take less than 2 seconds to execute. The heart thing was a gamble, the point was to kill him regardless of whether or not Stein died.

Also, in regards to the Stein helping Lily, I think Carmilla would've likely let him help her if he directly participated in the game by "betting" on Lily. However sending an ambassador was seen as an insult because it's as if he's insulting Carmilla, the three players, and her game by saying "This isn't even important enough for me to show up for." Of course he was sort of preoccupied fighting Gilgamesh, so he had a reason. But alias, that's that as they say.

I'm planning on having the Ambassador show that he won't be that easily taken down.

In this case? Resonance. A trump card is "an ultimate X", be it a technique, attack, or innate ability. If he has an ultimate passive ability, it can be fired whenever. In this case though, it was fired in response to the activation of Resonance. Also you do have to contend with the issue of it not being Stein's heart, but I'm sure BB will explain what is meant by that, so I won't bother.

What qualifies as 'an ultimate X'? Unlike a servant, Stein doesn't have a single most powerful ability, he has a row of different abilities that work in different ways. Furthermore, this was used earlier on Mia simply for her having the Black Blood, how is that her 'ultimate X'?

And it WAS Stein's heart.

Nope. It has to be something she has/is observed/ing. She currently isn't observing Romeo and Juliet, so she, in theory, would have no clue. It's fine~! There was a lot going on~!

Okay. Well, I'll send you the message I sent Magus, then.
