Hi Crow

His chest had been ripped open completely by the attack, and the shockwave from the impact had most definitely caused major damage to his internal organs. Luckily, Darkside had used his abilities to direct the blood, allowing it to flow normally despite the woulds. Through the massive hole, floating streams of blood could be seen, as if flowing through invisible veins. Unfortunately, despite this, major damage had been dealt to the inside of his body, and in many place his body had been too heavily damaged to continue, the only thing keeping him alive was his worry for Mia. And a lust for vengeance.
Clacking footsteps, as the hard heals of shining black shoes hit the hardened ice that had encased the room. A cane crunched into the ice with every two steps, a beat to accompany the steady rhythm of Bob's walk. Even the sound of his walking was almost musical in nature, a bell to hail the presence of a Demon of the Dance, who had once more descended to walk upon the same soil as those he sought to deal with. He stopped next to Elsa, his breath misting, his smile bright, his eyes glowing up red. When he spoke, his voice was smooth as velvet, and slithered like a snake. "I could ensure your sister's life, you know. Far better than any of these clumsy robots." He chuckles, the sound deep and reverberating, as if coming from a far larger being. "Of course, unlike last time, this is no gift. This comes at a price."

No, not today. I'd given you more then enough times to compromise, and even agreed to give you all the information on a characters ability after the fight was over. I did so because I have the greatest knowledge of that universe here; there's practically nothing I don't know about the Nasuverse. I know every weakness and every strength Gilgamesh has, and as someone just trying to diffuse the situation, I'm not going to assist one side or the other in the fight. Had you said yes, you would accept a Out of Character compromise, I would've given you the information. But you didn't want that. You wanted a negotiation on your terms; as I suspected, no less.

I wanted to finish an argument. I was attempting to discover what would truly happen, and the answers I got were not only confusing, and, worst of all, half the time they seemed to contradict what was happening in the IC. This led me to believe that either nobody here had any idea how this thing actually worked, or believed different things, or that LaX was actively abusing my ignorance on how the weapon functions. Despite you having the answers as to how this worked you actively obscured this information, and instead kept asking me to compromise, whereas I was trying to find out whether or not my ignorance and good faith was being abused, the idea of which is the cause for much of the fight that occurred.

BB said this space represents the information in the hiders, which don't work in the quote function.

Thank you for clarifying the way this weapon functions. I attempted to gain as much information as I could, but unfortunately it was rather limited. While I would hate to doubt your honesty in the matter, I still appreciate the screen caps. This makes things a lot easier.

BB said It's clear you didn't see me as a neutral party, rather, as an obstacle in your way. So, you went to the wiki, got some basic information, and then declared you're "letting him live". I know this universe well, far more than anyone on that wikia. My question wasn't whether or not you'd ICly let him live. If it was if you were fine with the concept. So then, allow me to explain why Lax is being generous and allowing you to live right now.

As I stated before, I saw you as someone who was interested in getting this out of the way, regardless of what the proper outcome should be. Had you provided the information you just did, I would happily have allowed Stein to die, and be reduced to 'a fine red mist'. I wasn't after some pyrrhic victory, because I personally don't care much for such pissing matched, I care when I get the feeling that someone's abusing a weapon or power in some way.

BB said Of course it's powerful. Gilgamesh is one of the stronger characters of this RP, just like Bob, or the Slivers.

And this is perfectly understandable. I was not arguing that it was too powerful, simply that it was not well defined.

BB said With that said, I think I may just take a permanent leave of absence from this roleplay. It's clear that, even if both characters come out living, there has to be a gigantic multi page debate over whether one character gains a pyrric victory they shouldn't even attain in the first place. What was this debate for, again? In the end, Wizard agreed to let both live. But only when it was on his terms and he "thought" he had Gilgamesh by the balls. That entire unsightly debate was over who got to spare who, nothing more, nothing less.My apologies if I've angered or offended you during this debate and this post, Wizard. I did not intend to do either if that happens, but I don't believe this is right, and I can't just stand by and let it happen around me. Lax, Guy, and Sakaki all agree with me on this fact, so yea, sorry guys, we may just be gone soon.

It's a shame you're leaving, and I hope you have fun in whatever roleplay you're going to next. However, please refrain from accusing me of such motivations without, in fact, asking me in any manner. I agreed to let both live because I had finally found the information I wanted. As I stated before, my interest wasn't what character would die, and what character wouldn't.

Well, you must be new to the Internet then. Anybody can put there avatar up as anything they please. Second, you assume that I have knowledge of your character, which I do not . I like how everyone else is overpowered, but your character has Magic that can devour souls, so it's okay. No, that's considered over powered to some, get over yourself. Third, BB doesn't have to do a single thing you ask. BB doesn't owe you a thing, pal. It's not BB's character, but he/she can debate with you whether you like it or not. Why? because BB simply can, no other explanation required. No one here owes you a single thing. You have two options, you can go use Google and look up Gilgamesh like the other 7 billion rational humans on Earth, or you can go back a lot of pages and look at Gilgamesh's Character sheet. No one is going to hand it to you. It's your responsibility to keep track of this yourself, not ours.

Actually, it's a players responsibility to explain the powers of a character they are playing. His character sheet hardly gives any information, and using the wiki is annoying because I'd have to look up every single legendary weapon in there. I also love how you're constantly harping on Tyki, for some strange reason.

How bout you take this argument to the PM's? I'm kinda getting a bit sick of reading two pages of this shit.

It's actually kind of amusing that you posted that moments after the argument ENDED (=
Seeing as how everyone seems incredibly reluctant to give me a proper description of how this power works, I've looked it up myself. It only activates when used against an opponent's most powerful attack. This only works if it is their most powerful attack, and is absolutely and completely useless against well-rounded mages such as most of the masters in the series, or, of course, Stein. Furthermore, the blade does not cut it's opponent in half, it rather causes a small hole more-less the size of a pebble, the minimal amount to gauge out the heart.
There, this has been solved. Now, based on the fact that I want this fight to be over, I will compromise and agree to both characters living, despite the fact that Fragrach should not have been used in this manner, and has been abused in these fights. In the future, I shall react appropriately, and be researching every item Gilgamesh pulls out. Now I need to go calm down.

madam, i'm afraid this is something you can not simply "pass" on. you have been for the past hour (at least) been defending a character that by all rights should be dead along with stein for, and i'm of course paraphrasing, "reasons" so if you wish for any of your arguement to be valid at all then i'd suggest listing it's short comings right now before i unleash my character and his first action would be to devour gilgamesh's soul (which is far from his greatest technique) using one of his hexes

Actually, refrain from that, I've got the info.

That didn't answer my question, unfortunately. I will be sure to address all your concerns after mine are addressed.

That's great for you. I'm not compromising as long as these powers are so badly explained. As such, I've been forced to take matters into my own hands and actually look up the weapon and it's uses within the setting.

This goes beyond the question of whether or not Gilgamesh is dead in character. Are you willing to reach a compromise at all, to allow both characters to live, regardless of what's happening to them in character?Hmmmmm I'll pass until the fights over. When it is, I'll be happy to do so. Do you have any problem with that?Furthermore, I am defending nothing. By all means, post what you think is defensive that I've said. Words are wind, quotes are iron.

My problems are beyond this fight, they are the fact that his powers have not been explained whatsoever, and don't seem to make any sense. The ones that are explained seem to be masively overpowered, but hey, I control Bob, I can't complain. Except for the fact that Bob doesn't ATTACK PEOPLE. And even Bob doesn't have the power to rewrite history, such as this dagger supposedly can do.
