Alright, so I don't really blame you for starting the RP without me since I disappeared for almost a week. I also don't mind the idea of other people running the RP along with me, and I would actually prefer it in fact, since RPs ran by just me have a bad habit of dying really quickly. At the same time however, I would like to ask to have some control over this RP, including the opening post, the character template, the accepting of the characters (including the ones that have been posted) and the story. This was my idea, after all. I'm not saying I won't let anyone else have any control over those things I listed, I just want some say in those subjects

My idea was an alien invasion RP. It would take place in a modern day time period when suddenly aliens would attack, and players would play the characters reacting to the invasion. The choice of characters will be very wide, as long as they're realistic enough and fit in the context of the RP, any type of character will be allowed. The tone would be action movie-ish, kinda sorta like Independence Day (though I realize that's not the best choice of movie to compare it to) The twist to make this alien invasion more unique is...well it's kind of spoilery for the story I have planned, so I'll spoiler it

I was planning on the first aliens be very reminiscent of the old 1950s-esque aliens, they would be grey aliens with big heads, big black eyes and tiny bodies, they would carry around rayguns, fly around in saucers, abduct people, all that cheesy stuff. But then as a twist, after spending a lot of the story focusing on the first group of aliens, I was planning on having ANOTHER, completely separate species of aliens appear, ones that would be reminiscent of somewhat more modern aliens, like the ones you'd see in a FPS. They would be a warrior race type of aliens who are ALSO trying to invade the planet. The idea would be that the original grey aliens were invading humans because they're trying to steal the resources of our planet, while the later aliens want to use the planet as a home base and as an extension of their empire. So now you have a three way battle: the warrior aliens want to stop the grey aliens from taking away all the valuable resources from their potential future home base, the grey aliens want to stop the warrior aliens from trying to stop them, and the humans just hate both sides and want to be left alone in peace

Alright, so I know we're all talking about the MG RP right now, but I've actually just recently had the idea for another RP in the past day or so. I want to know if anyone is still willing to consider another RP or if you're all too dead set on the MG RP

Since everyone is talking about what type of character they want to play, I was planning on playing the rebellious, tomboy (ish) girl, whose powers would be very physical in nature, and her type of weapon would be guns

There is the rare occasion that a knight is born to act like a paladin and sticks to his morals. So in the event they couldn't find a last member to the team that was virtuous enough to use said powers, they searched all living beings that ever lived up until that point and chose the best match

I dunno, just bringing time travel or alternate dimensions into this seems like a bit too much. I could imagine those kinds of elements coming in much later into the story or something, but it's a bit too weird to bring in right out of the gate. If you really want to have a character who is like a knight, you can always just make a character whose personality and abilities and stuff are knight themed

But why would the benevolent creatures want to go to the trouble of time traveling just to get someone from the past to help? I would imagine someone from the past would be more of a hindrance than a help, since he wouldn't understand the modern world and would have very outdated technology and weapons. Wouldn't a guy from the present or future be more of a help? Also, my idea for the character's weapons would be that they would be connected to their powers, where each character would be able to summon a specific type of weapon (like, one character could summon bladed weapons, one character could summon hammer weapons, etc). This includes modern ones likes guns and explosives and stuff, and I don't think he'd be able to help with those

To be honest, that idea is a little out there, and kind unfitting with the ideas I've set up. If you can think of a good justification for how that could happen in the context of the world, then I'll consider it
