... okay? I don't really see why that's... necessary. :/Just forgot to post on my part because I'm in a lot of things across various places.

Just saying, nothing to be concerned with I don't reckon. It's not going to be similar to this, it'll be more Japanese based, what with Samurai, Ninja, and such.
I've been working on a remastered version of this roleplay in the meantime.
Okay so I was thinking of doing a roleplay that takes place roughly at the end of the Clone Wars and between Episodes III and IV set immediately after the command to execute Order 66. Quite literally, the first words of the roleplay will be "Execute Order 66". There will be quite a few differences to make it more roleplay-friendly.

Someone is going to be playing a Jedi, preferably an active member. This Jedi is leading an assault on a separatist base with a squad of Clone Troopers in tow. But here's the fun part: you won't reveal your allegiance until the time comes. Are you going to try and kill this Jedi? Or are you going to try and save them? Do NOT tell anyone, wait until the time comes.

If you want to save the Jedi, post your bio for your Clone Trooper, this will be your one and only character. If you want to kill the Jedi, post a fake bio for your Clone Trooper, but PM me the bio for your Bounty Hunter, this way no one will know which side you're on.

Any Clone Troopers who try to kill the Jedi will probably be killed. At this point you will use your 'secret' Bounty Hunter characters. The Jedi-Loyalists will have to find a way to get their Jedi somewhere safe, facing a slew of enemies and facing many potential problems and tense stand-offs, even delving into the criminal underworld. The Bounty Hunters will use their investigation, tracking, contacts, clues, and intimidation to track down the Jedi and kill him/her. The roleplay ends whenever the Bounty Hunters kill the Jedi, or when the Clone Troopers successfully get the Jedi somewhere safe.

To make the roleplay more friendly, the Republic has allowed non-Clones to join the Grand Republic Army, including females. The Jedi character has the choice to be overpowered if they want.
Many years ago there lived dozens of warrior-clans in the mystical land of Tochi. These samurai-like warriors trained from a young age in the art of strength, wisdom, and spirituality. They protected the local villages and common-folk from bandits and rivals. They were perhaps the single greatest and wisest warriors the world had ever seen. One of these clans were the Mizumi Samurai.

To the southwest lie another land, Kinsun. Kinsun was a divided land. Warlords vied for power, whole armies clashed, and tens of thousands of people were killed. One of these warlords was Shu Liang, a kind and just man. He marched his armies into Tochi to gather supplies for his people but met with fierce opposition as his armies clashed with the Tochii. Impressed by their skill, the Kinsun warlord invited the Tochii to join his army, promising his empire would forever protect their lands. The warriors agreed and named the great Mizumi prodigy, Katsumoto, as their leader. Kang Xu, who was originally from Kinsun, had been raised by the Mizumi, alongside Katsumoto, and the two were very good friends.

For the next seven years the Tochii warriors proved to be an invaluable asset to Shu Liang's forces. They were instrumental in the creation of the Imperial Empire. Shu Liang became the first emperor of Kinsun. Even after the war, the Tochii warriors continued play an essential role as they protected the emperor, drove back the Steppe Riders, subdued the Cha-Shan, and quelled any sort of rebellious attempts within the empire.

Way of the Dragon

Way of the Dragon is a martial arts roleplay taking place in the fictional land of Kinsun. Kinsun resembles Ancient China, and the people here are called kians and they resemble the Chinese and Japanese. "Way of the Dragon" refers to the strongest martial art style in Kinsun, although only one man is known to actually know the style in the current day.

Kinsun was once ruled by the Song Dynasty. When the Song Dynasty collapsed the land was thrown into a tumultuous war, a period now known as the Warring States period. During this time there lived three heroes: Wu Zhou, Kang Xu, and Shu Liang. All three had been trained in the Way of the Dragon, a powerful and deadly form of martial arts. The three heroes trained dozens of other loyal soldiers in the Way of the Dragon known as the Dragon Monks. After a seven-year campaign, the three heroes had restored peace and order to the land.

Shu Liang became the Emperor, Kang Xu became the military governor, and Wu Zhou continued training more Dragon Monks. For fifteen years the empire experienced a golden age. They drove back the Cha-Shan and the Horse Demons and maintained order in the land. Unfortunately, Kang Xu became radicalized. He constantly demanded more soldiers, more funds, and imposed martial law without Shu's consent. Shu and Wu grew worrisome and so decided to strip Kang of his power. In an act of rage Kang marched on the Imperial Palace and attempted to abdicate the throne. Kang Xu battled Shu Liang and Wu Zhou while his forces marched on the Dragon Monk's temple. Shu Liang was killed, but Wu Zhou finally managed to impale Kang Xu through the heart. When loyal Imperial soldiers arrived, Kang's forces surrendered. Unfortunately, the Dragon Monks had been defeated and only Wu Zhou remained.

Wu Zhou, feeling hopeless and guilty, exiled himself to the small village of Setting Sun. Here he opened up a dojo to train martial arts, although he has never trained anyone in the Way of the Dragon anymore. The title of Emperor fell to Shu Tzong, Shu Liang's oldest son.

Fifty years has passed since then. You will be playing a student in Master Wu's dojo. The roleplay, however, will quickly move away from the dojo as your characters embark on a quest to determine the fate of the Imperial Empire. Expect to face soldiers, mercenaries, bandits, as well as ghosts, spirits, demons, and fearsome creatures. Your group will be given a set of objectives/choices and it is up to you how you accomplish them. These choices will ultimately determine the outcome of the roleplay.

Shattered Sun

Y'know I actually like that. Kind of goes in with the whole 'Kin Sun' name to (although that is is pronounced 'kin soon'). If I don't think of anything else I might use Shattered Sun.

Shattered Sun (Broken Empire Reborn)

Trying to come up with a good name of the martial artists to. Dragonguard sounds to Western-Fantasy-ish.

EDIT: The characters should be something to do with dragons or tigers, like 'the Tiger Generals' or something.

Forbidden Kingdom? The Forbidden Art? Dragon's Fist? Shattered Empire? Rising Sun? Forgotten Mandate? Tigers of Kin Sun? Way of the Warrior?
I am hosting a roleplay called "Broken Empire". It is an Asian/Wuxia roleplay that takes place in the mystical land of Kin Sun (mixture of China and Japan). Kin Sun was once a divided and war-torn land (like Warring States in China, or Sengoku in Japan) but was united under a single banner: the Imperial Empire. The roleplays will center around a group of martial artists who embark on a quest around Kin Sun to... well, no spoilers.

'Broken Empire' refers to the shattered state of the Imperial Empire at the time the RP takes place, but it doesn't sound Asian enough to me. Years ago I called the idea 'Meiyo Senshi', which roughly translates into 'Honorable Warrior' in Japanese, but it's based more on Chinese influences rather than Japanese. Another Asian-themed roleplay I was in was called Mandate of Heaven, and I didn't want to steal the name. I had considered calling it "Way of the Dragon" in reference to the greatest martial art style in Kin Sun, but I am not sure I like that.

What do you think is a good name for the roleplay series?

Because the fighting that immediately doesn't leave all that much room for characterization, or any sort of interaction.

Oh, I was misinterpreting something you said.

I guess I can make sure the combat comes at a later time. It'll give me more posts to really set the tone of the Empire's current state.

Speak for yourself; Baijiu's probably only been here a day or two. I think you're rushing things. :/

How so?
Hey guys, I just posted the IC. You may eat/spar/train/read/converse, whatever, but the Tranquil Gardens are off limits until Wu and his Five Dragon Generals finish talking.

Expect serious combat at around my third post.
