Bio

Writer and aspiring podcaster/professional nerd! One day I'll take my stories to the screen but for now, I keep them on paper!

Here are a couple of my roleplays!

The Gospel of Aachakeggn(Kaiju and Mech RP): https://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/173192-gospel-of-aachakeggn-kaiju-and-mech-rp/ooc
Bizarre Patrol (Nathan Drake/Dark Universe: The Mummy style Archeology):https://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/174513-bizarre-patrol-interest-check/ooc

I prefer 1x1 and advanced roleplay, with some sort of sci-fi fantasy element!

I've heard whispers from the Iron Forest, about a blistering shadow, descending upon passersby with lightning and ice. She is the Witch Knight--a hero of the Old World. You're not ready to face the likes of her. Not by a century. But what choice do you have?

What's up everyone! The Tolkien Black Guy here with another roleplay for ya! This story takes place in my own universe called Midgard--a high fantasy world where humans and elves live side by side one another in harmony under the watchful eye of the New Gods. There are thousands of stories going on at any time in this universe, all of which have taken place after the great Cerberus god has been sealed away behind the Tree of Life. However, that's not the main focus of this story. I have a character named Amaranthine. She's a Witch Knight; someone who has gained access to magic by artificial means and was consumed by the Makai Wraiths--creatures that maintain balance in the Makai Grid, the source of all magic--but maintained her humanity. She protects the Iron Forest and the surrounding area as a vigilante. Tooth and claw in the shadows. A sword and shield in the night. A saviour in the dark.

I'm looking for a partner to create a story within this world. Perhaps you're a lawmaker on the hunt for the Witch Knight to bring her in for interrogation for a crime she didn't commit. Maybe you're a wayward traveler who stumbled upon her home. Maybe you're an old friend of her's before she became a Witch Knight and you need her help.

Either way I'd like to create a "this is bigger than you" story. What starts off as something small and simple turns out to be connected to a much larger conspiracy.

Magic plays a major role in this story. I have a magic system that's already in place but could us some polishing! Perhaps we could build a better magic system? Hard magic is my favourite!

Ideally, I'd like a moderate to advanced roleplay--I'm thinking 200 words minimum per post. I know lives get busy sometimes but if we could post at least once or twice a week that'd be awesome. Discord would be my main form of communication as I'm on there almost everyday! If this sounds like something you'd be interested in or you'd like to know more about the world of Midgard before venturing forward let me know! I look forward to hearing from you!

P.S. I've also created a playlist to give you an idea of the kind of story we'll be working with!
And at first it seems like random murders, but when our heroes start putting the pieces together they realise that all of the victims are connected. I like the idea of a firm of sorts--I'm thinking an insurance firm for cybernetic parts? Whoever is the CEO of that company also has his/her hands other pies that include WMDs. I'm thinking something like a massive conglomerate, maybe named Yggdrasil Incorporated.

Yes! I am actually! I've been honing the cast in the mean time and between time so I have more of a solid universe to work with. I'd love to link up and see what you have in mind for the story as well!
Becoming increasingly fulfilling.

Holy moly! I didn't realise the response this got! Oof, Why not we make this a group roleplay! I've always wanted to give one of those a shot. What do you all think?
@Banzai Tracers Hence the title of the roleplay!
Damocles wasn't in the least bit taken aback by the response--in fact, he expected it. It would have to take a lot of mental fortitude to keep all of that magic energy in check. He wondered what Ellen was. A wizard, like him? It would be fun to have another spellcaster on the team. He'd only worked with one before--that didn't go over too well. Maybe this time things would be a bit better. Without skipping a beat, he said "Did we just have 'a moment'? I think we just had a moment, for realsies! We're BFFs now, okay?"
"Oh, don't mind him Ellen," a new, Welsh accented voice said. Damocles turned to face the empty Medusa display. A tall man with a wide build and a camera around his neck smiled tightly. He was an older gentleman and his taste in black clothes suit him well. He wore a black turtleneck, black sport coat but he was balding. Circling around his neck was a series of perfectly aligned stitches. "We have yet to tell his doctor to increase his medication dosage.
For the first time today, Damocles frowned. Damocles loved everyone. But if there was one person that he loved just a little bit less it was Anderson Stoney-Bowes--the forensic photographer.
"Ah, Professor Snape," Damocles replied sourly. "Did your mommy let you out your basement to come and play with the big kids?"
Anderson narrowed his eyes and walked towards Damocles and Ellen. Molly looked up from her phone, but said nothing. Just another day in LIBRA.
Anderson stopped directly in front of Damocles and narrowed his eyes. "Oh? The crypt?"
The one place where Damocles knew he could sting Anderson it was his dullahan heritage.
Anderson poked Damocles in the chest, his voice wet with sarcasm,"How lovely of you to say. You know I've long since been insecure about my dullahan heritage. and it's nice to have it ratified by you. A human."
"Careful there, grandpa," Damocles narrowed his eyes. "There's still enough spots at the Sunny Hills senior home for one more."
"Okay!" Molly had had enough. "We get it ladies, you're both pretty! Anderson, get back to work. Damocles, stop being weird."
The two of them huffed and Anderson pushed passed Damocles and got down on one knee to begin snapping photos of the stone body.
"Bloody hell, I haven't seen petrification in years," he muttered.
Petrification was a painful process. Upon looking into the gaze of a Medusa, the human body would turn to stone starting with the internal organs first. The victim would die from inside out.
"The Stone Killer of Illinos," Damocles said. "The big issue right now is getting that Medusa head back. And I know exactly where to start.
"Oh, do you now?" Anderson looked up from his work.
"Yup!". Damocles gave Anderson a thumbs up. "Ready for a ride in my hometown, Ellen?
