Riiiiiiiiiight, well first off you've left out your gal's appearance, and also your history is a little light. So here's what you need to do:

• Complete the "Phsyical Description" bit
• Some more history about Alena. You've told me where she's from, and who her father was/is, but who is she? A thief? A common criminal? I'm assuming her background involves less than legal activities, judging by her armour and skill set.
• Include in your history how she became acquainted with The Collector.

Do that for me, and you're good to go.

By now I'm extremely reluctant to play the UN peacekeeper because of what you said earlier. I had already agreed not to put him in, and it's not in my habit to bicker with the GM. I was already ready to compromise for you.

It is hard decision now to decide what character to write :( I'm afraid for this I'll need time to think.

@Darkraven You know what, you seemed pretty into your JSDF guy and perhaps I was wrong to block his entry the way I did.

Let's make him a U.N Peacekeeper, operating out of Easton Safe Zone searching for survivors - in tandem with U.S Army and National Guard elements. The dead are walking around for no reason and everyone's happy with that, so I doubt anyone will take offence to a minor JSDF presence in America. We'll stick with what I originally proposed, that your man had originally been stationed in Africa during the outbreak there, but was then pulled out when the situation became untenable. He and his comrades were then redeployed to an ailing America, because at the time Japan seemed like it would escape the crisis, and wanted to retain good favour with its greatest international ally by providing token assistance. A move that divided the Japanese parliament, no doubt!

I'm sure there'll be someone who will try to poke holes in all of that, but I'll crush them.

No swords and shields though.

Aristobus snarled at the bandit leader, "you wont stop me from finding my mother!"

The bandit leader recoiled slightly, dumbfounded by the Imperial's words. "Mother? What?"

But Aristobus did not elaborate. Instead, he threw forwards his left hand, splaying his fingers. A small sphere of fire appeared for a moment, spinning on its axis. The bandit leader realised his peril, and stepped backwards just as Aristobus threw his destructive energy into the ball of fire, making it as large as a man's head.

"No, wait!" the bandit leader cried, realising his sword and tattered armour was an inadequate defence against the spell.

And then Aristobus fell backwards, a feathered shaft jutting from his chest. The bandit leader looked over at the gate, and saw that one of his men had rushed forwards with bow in hand.

"Couldn't you have done that sooner, you pond scum!?" he roared, before remembering the Khajiit was still standing. "Come on you limp mudcrabs, let's get this cat stuffed and be on our way."

The three bandits surrounded Jo'Resfo, jeering at him. "Here kitty, kitty, don't be afraid, it'll all be over soon", one of them chuckled.

The archer of the group stood by the gate, looking up at the pine tree he'd seen the Breton retreat behind.

You seem to regard me as a simpleton-adolescent.

Nah, Anime doesn't appeal to me. I can't remember the last time I willingly watched anime (my younger cousins dragged me into it once but...). It wasn't their tradition and samurai and the JSDF. I wanted to try emulating the Japanese spirit a bit, inasmuch as I know it. And the reason why I kept playing the same character is because I didn't get to really play him, explore him. Instead, the RPs kept dying on me.

You know, playing as an African ultramarathon runner was one of my considerations. But I'm going to need to take time out from roleplayerguild. Again.

I regard you as someone I don't quite understand, but that's neither here or there. I hope you find whatever it is you're looking for. There's plenty of other post-by-post sites, perhaps you should try those? It seems apparent to me that you're after something the Guild hasn't got, and if three failed RPs is the reason you're running, then I'll save you the hassle and tell you quite plainly that no matter where you go, it is always a problem. Players get bored, they get busy; GMs lose passion for their creation and become neglectful.

No Hope is different. As a GM, I'm enthusiastic, dedicated and loyal to my players. I don't suffer AFKers, nor do I allow things to grind to a halt. This RP will continue to thrive, so long as I give the level of care and attention it needs... unless, you know, I screw up with an awful plot twist.

I would urge you to give this a try. If it's the character issue that's stopping you, then I'm sure we can come to a compromise. I'd be happy to continue any discussions regarding your possible entry in PM form, if you'd prefer it to be away from prying eyes.

However, if you're dead-set on leaving the guild, then I wish you all the best. See you around bud.

I know I never did much in your other RP, but somehow I feel as if this might go better. If only because I seem to work better in a fantastic setting. I'll see if I can't whip something up.

That's the spirit - and hey, no worries. I have plenty of other critters over at No Hope anyways.

EDIT: Also, I've made a slight correction to the player rules. I stated 1 post per 72 hours, what I actually meant was 1 post per 72 hours minimum. Characters meet unfortunate ends after that time, if the player does not state their absence/inability to post. Keeps the AFKers from ruining everything.

So in short, post as much and as frequently as you want (within reason), just don't leave it for 3 days.
