F Looking for Character/Story driven 1x1 threads.

Mid twenties/male/interested/slow poster(1-3 times a week avg)/mostly play males in the 25-45 range pulling from interactions with my friends to give me inspiration for my characters. I'm not so good at planning out the middle and end of a RP, as I have mostly been apart of open ended RP's but I can brainstorm starting points pretty well. Pretty flexible when it comes to subject or setting.

The Elementals (Chemical elemental characters)

Tecumseh walked into his office and smiled as he saw that his intern had already made him a cup of coffee. It was black as pitch, and probably just as bitter though much less viscous, exactly the way he liked it. He sat down and started reading through his e-mails. He noticed one with the subject "Sweetest Teas" and glanced up to be sure his intern wasn't back yet from delivering the in-office mail for the day. He opened it and read it carefully, it was apparently a exactly what it was supposed to be, an advertisement for sweet tea, of various flavors, made by a popular tea brand. Few understood the cipher used due to it's reliance on highly personal events and experiences shared by exactly thirteen men, of which only eight were still alive. Even with the cipher, the information was vague at best, reports of a man in the EU that left his crime scenes frozen in place, hints of new leader in the middle east with a "fiery" disposition, a man found on the side of the street diagnosed with chlorine poisoning. He glanced up as he heard his intern coming back up the hall and erased the email. It confirmed his suspicions, he wasn't the only one with ... "elemental" qualities.
Tecumseh filed the information away for later and dived into the day's work with his usual vigor. The day looked to be another busy one judging by the width of Sarah's smile. She was an undergrad student working on a history degree, so she could get a masters in Forestry and Resource Management. She was a bit of an idealist, and a naive one at that, but she worked hard and was very good at keeping things organized, something Tecumseh needed. She laid out his schedule for the day as if he were some big shot CEO, and he laughed at her performance. Sarah ignored him and continued with the day's events and then the major to do list for the week. Tecumseh sipped his coffee as he listened and then officially started his day, with a call to his senator about a bill going through the state legislature that could make his life as a resort owner and vacation planner much more difficult, just so a few rich men could widen their proverbial girths. Thankfully his senator had a personal stake in the matter, since the senator's current free family pass to the resort would become worthless if the resort was closed. As the Senator's secretary picked up, Tecumseh put the call on speaker while Sarah pulled an iPad and stylus out of her carryall and got ready to take notes.

Nice to see some other 40+ characters, I was wondering if I was going to be the oldest character. I think I'll call that the mountain I'm buying up is Dark Ridge, NC. If anyone want's to start at the Mt resort, just PM me, so I don't completely omit your existence in my opening post(s) please.

Also, this was tentatively scheduled to start already, can I get an updated estimate on the boot up schedule?

Equipment: Thornblade knife, often coated in a natural poison. Wears light tunic and pants made of animal skin lined birch bark, also wears sandals with birch bark soles.

Combat Skills: Very handy with his blade, the equivalent of a short sword for him. His skill lies in mobility and speed. Uses magic sparingly, prefers to avoid larger opponents, completely avoiding detection whenever he can, but against opponents of similar size he is a formidable foe, having grown up fending off natural, and unnatural, predators.

Non-Combat Skills: Is an excellent yeoman and herbalist, knowing the flora and fauna of many lands, and each species' many uses, almost instinctively. He forages or his food when he gets hungry, and carries little, preferring to make things as needed and not a moment sooner. He can communicate with animals, and is often considered a friend by animals he meets. He is easily distracted, looses interest quickly if things are not as he expects them to be.

Mana: Low

Magic Shools: Conjuration, Transmutation.

Magical Abilities:
Absorb: Drains mana from an object or creature, on touch. Exceeding the caster's normal mana capacity is physically and mentally harmful to the caster.
Dispel: Attempts to remove magical effect or summoned creature.
Growth: Increases growth rate, and subsequently also the natural heal rate, of an animal, plant or person by five hundred percent.
Prisms: Creates 5 marble sized prisms out of water droplets.
Resurrect: Up to 3 hours after death, may revive fallen comrades.
Stasis: Prevents aging and death, until end of stasis, but leaves subject completely unaware of their surroundings.
Symphony: Produces any sound the caster can remember hearing, at up to a moderate volume(slightly loud inside voice), for up to five minutes. The sound emanates from a point Specified by the caster for the duration of the spell.
Wither: Causes beings to dry out, and objects to corrode/decay. Consuming them at a rate of 1.5 sq ft per 30 sec for three min.

Techniques:
Areal Acrobatics(self explanatory): extended use causes exhaustion.

Spirit Sheet

Despair, aura: nearby creatures slowly succumb to despair, the effect increases over time and as the spirit approaches a target. Different creatures succumb at different rates, dependent mostly on their will to live.
