Responsibility belongs not to the name stenciled on the mantel, but to the one who carries the mantle.

Glad to have you back! Post is up, sorry if it's a bit short. :/
@Slenderpman If you'd like to eat at the resort, or stay for that matter, at the resort, you are more than welcome too. I don't suggest trying to join Alessandra, Jason, and Tecumseh at their table, as it is in a separate room, set aside for private diners, and having you just walk in, even if you're a regular at the resort, which is possible, would not be received well. And if you are a regular at the resort then you'd probably know that Tecumseh is very touchy about his privacy, and the privacy of his guests. I expect to be finishing up the private dinner shortly, IC, and will be happy to come by and chat with Lithe for a bit, before moving on to finish his work for the day as the owner/manager of the resort.
Well, the dark elf made twelve others. Twelve, plus one of me, is thirteen in total. Thirteen is a lucky number right? I can't remember. What else can't I remember? I know my name, and what I am, at least physically, but how I got here I can't say. Did I die with all these other creatures and get sent back for some reason? Why would I have been with any of these creatures when they died, and why would I have come here? Hmm, all of these were big people, I don't know why, but I don't like big people. I really don't like big people, they crush the ground beneath their feet, they raze the forests to plant dull weeds for them to eat. They burned and destroyed the beautiful places almost as soon as they found them, they hated sharing almost as much as they hated playing. ... Wait, where did all that come from? I can neither remember nor forget these things. I have no specific memories, but I do not doubt that everything I remember is true and has happened. Perhaps I should leave before the big people notice me, but most of them are staring at the statue on which I rest. Perhaps they thought I was merely an insect or a leaf, others had made that mistake. When had that been? Never mind that, focus on getting away for now. Dare I risk moving, can fly fast enough to escape them if they do notice me? I doubt it, my muscles feel sore and ill-used. I'd only done a little flying earlier, surely that hadn't worn me out...

Drat the Dark Elf, she peers to closely for my liking, surely she sees me by now. Which rules out escaping... Next option, trick them! I love playing tricks, especially on big people. But trick them into what? I doubt I could get them to kill each other, perhaps I can pass myself off as a messenger of the godess on whom I sit! Whom do I sit on? Drat it all! I don't know enough myself, to play any good tricks. Hmf, I suppose I shall have to sit here and hear what I can. Maybe they will tell me enough to play a good trick!

Oh, okay. Thanks for the explanation.
@Vesuvius00 It's the two-tone eyes, ;)
@Nerevarine Return post is up.
Hmm... well, since you were kind enough to be honest on the first go around, I shall return the favor. I have an affinity for Boron myself. A fact known by exactly eleven living souls.

Tecumseh let Alessandra and Jason absorb that little piece of information, before politely requesting that they keep this matter a secret, as he believed, based on personal experience, that sharing the information would prove fatal, at best, for everyone involved. He then turned, unlocked the door, and returned to his seat where he began eating the painstakingly prepared main course. He used the placement of his napkin, either in his lap or on the table next to his plate, to signal the waiter if anyone needed anything, so the three of them could continue to discuss things in relative privacy, if they so desired. If Alessandra wanted to change the subject, Tecumseh would gladly take the opportunity to do some shameless self-advertising.

Looks like y'all figured out how to integrate planewalker abilities quite nicely. I like it.

@Tracyarmav Ok this is your planeswalker card. You gave me the most touble since you are so perfectly focused on the Cipher keyword. I hope this planeswalker will help with everything that a cipher deck desires. Unblockable and rewards from punishing enemies. Also, I did not like picture you sent. So, I took artistic liberty and found you anew one.

I love it!

Q: The +1 states "up to one target creature" isn't the "up to" extraneous?

My next IC post will be after everyone responds to their attackers. I'm pretty much going to leave keeping track of life/loyalty, up to each player. (Mars if you want to keep track, go ahead)

Also, don't worry, no one is going to die in this battle, I promise. (might get knocked out, but I don't see that happening)

Regarding wish lists...
Worldfire
Worldpurge
All Hallow's Eve
Angel of the Dire Hour
Apocalypse
Bazaar of Wonders
Counterbore

just think how much fun it will be to fight a planeswlaker with a few of these up his/her sleeve... *maniacal laughter*

jking, I wouldn't do that to the characters... probably.

Mot was moderately annoyed with the dragon's casual display of power, not because it destroyed his creatures as effectively as it killed the rats, minions often had to pay the price of serving a dangerous master and this was no different. The extra attention that would be gathered though, that bothered him. He hated being put into the focus of another, and he felt even now that others were watching. He sighed, why couldn't they just go about their business discretely? Oh well, for better or for worse he'd cast his lot, though whether or not he remained with this motley group remained to be seen.

Mot stood quietly, enjoying the memories of an old swamp, burned by natural fires, and drew upon it's energies to better prepare himself for whatever was still watching. He didn't have to wait long to find out.

Teysa was the obvious target, walking through the carnage with pride. The goblin tribe she sought, aimed for her first, fearing the same fate as the rats, but encouraged by their leader and his two wizards. Suddenly the sound of a rhythmless rattle erupts from a thicket of brambles off to the party's left, while nine separate sparks streak towards Teysa (nine instances of 1 damage, from various sources, being dealt directly to Teysa). A howling goblin bursts from the hedge, followed closely by a small horde of other very angry goblins (18 goblins coming out of the hedge altogether). They split up choosing targets apparently at random (rolled a d6 for each attacker, and just went down the list of players in order of their application).

Dread Cultist Mot, the first up in the list, is being attacked by a Bloodcrazed Goblin, a Goblin Brawler, and a Goblin Brigand. Thanks to Teysa's little stunt his defenses are gone and he suffers several injuries as he tries to defend himself. Next up is the Black Angel, and she faces a Bloodcrazed Goblin, a Goblin Brigand, and the Goblin Bushwhacker. The Kind Stranger, is less fortunate, and faces three Goblin Arsonists, a Goblin Berserker, and a Goblin Brawler. Her wall still stands, however, the rattling noises necessitate that a second creature joins the wall before they can block any of her opponents. The Chaotic Resurgent, is also being attacked, but only by a Bloodcrazed Goblin, a Goblin Arsonist, and a Goblin Berserker. The Chains of the Sea, is being attacked by a single Goblin Brigand. The remaining Bloodcrazed Goblin and two Goblin Berserkers trip and fall as they attempt to cross the charred remains of the rats.

Teysa, and other sufficiently experienced planeswalkers, might recognize that many of the attacking Goblins would not be felled by an overloaded Mizzium Mortars, this was a special bunch alright. The leader was likely to know the information Teysa sought, and she might be tempted to assume the Goblin Bushwhacker led the group, but that assumption would quickly dissipate as she saw how resilient and strong these goblins were. The true leader hid within the hedge with the goblins that had shot Teysa, only moments ago.
