That moment when someone makes a terrible OC with a cringe self-centered plot and you have no idea how to react because you want them to indulge your own shit.

Having no complaints is pretty good I'd say. -smiles-
-stares banner- Oh crap I forgot about Data. Sorry Data!

But finally I've finished my sheets, they look awful but there ya go. -clears throat- Now that those are off my plate, I can work on getting a post, probably at some point tomorrow. I also have a group post to do as well and I wanna try and time my replies so no one posts right before I go because then it'll bug me for two weeks. -laughs-

And awww yeah no Uhura. :/ But we've got such a big cast that OCs and new/side roles (like Guinan and Uhura) aren't needed as much in terms of being on the banner. No worries! I probably won't tweak with it. If I do anything, I may make phase banners for us or something like that. We gotta have spiffy episode titles or something right?

Since Data does seem perceptive he and my Betazoid (Nex) may notice the lack of well emotion coming from Rommoe. I think if they notice they probably wouldn't say anything at first and sort of wait. Unless you're thinking it would be unnoticed for a while. I think otherwise the rest of my characters (except for maybe Guinan?) wouldn't really be able to tell a difference between Rommie and a human just due to how she's designed. To them androids aren't that far yet and it'll be pretty amazing to see how another universe had made such progress with so many things.

As much as I love Uhura I used the younger version from Kelvin (if that's okay!) so I doubt she'd interest him much. I did make a male and female OC, the guy more akin to your OC Ensign and my female, my Betazoid to replace Troi. -shudders-

And the concise summary works for me! It almost sounds like that announcer guy from DBZ.
I'm alright.

How about you?
Working on it now!
Dude you built me to it but I'm happy you did. :) You did the same thing design wise I was going to do!

I just need to finish my two OCs sheets which may wait until tonight as I've got an appointment this afternoon. That said, once those are all done I can dig into the post and start to work on it. :)

And alright, that makes sense. I'm sure she can find some way to recharge on the Enterprise or Geordi could make her something if nothing seems to be easily compatible. Does she have the ability to say find out where the ship is or is the connection broken once she is off of it?

Well hopefully not all the guys! I think young Uhura might give her some competition when it comes to turning heads though. And I'll have to see who I can snag for my OC pictures since I want them to blend in with ST so I may end up finding headshots without any clothes though I could photoshop the collars in if need be....ah well I don't want to worry about that too much. I just need to find pictures that go with their personalities.

I think the banner looks best with Rommie and Gaheris (and no Troi yaaaay).

I won't leave until Thur so Wed (well tomorrow) is probably my last day I want to commit to being online. /siiiigh

But I do want to spend a good chunk of tomorrow afternoon and maybe even a long time in the evening trying to get everyone something so they don't forget about me when I'm gone. -laughs- I hope to have a good time, I hope it's relaxing cause I didn't pay to not relax lol
Ello! -waves back-
Gonna grab lunch soon, I may have time to reply afterwards but I've also got an appointment this afternoon so I might not be able to get something until the evening. Just a heads up! -smiles-
Gabrail had ambition, without a doubt.

It was ironic that the House he ended up unknowingly becoming the Head of, was also the one he would have been placed in. Perhaps if not irony, destiny? Though Fianna didn't hold much regard for the idea of destiny or fate or anything of the like. Life was not that simple and carefree. The pair made it up to the raised table which oversaw the others and noted they were to sit next to each other. When Gabrail pulled out her chair, she said a quick 'thank you' unsure if he was doing it because he had been taught manners or if he was merely trying to be impressive. He was charming but she had met people who pretended to be charming and she still had to figure out Gabrial's true self. Had his school and upbringing crafted someone truly strong but polite? Or were his actions influenced by other outside measures?

Fianna found for the time being she had no reason to question his sincerity and decided to trust him. Still, he was almost too good to be true. Witty and charming? Usually she had to pick between one trait or the other. So Gabrial was a guy she was already quickly becoming interested in. Sociable as ever, Gabrial was quick to talk to other professors while Fianna filled her goblet with a red red wine and took a long drink before Minerva reminded everyone to prepare their speeches for tomorrow evening. Fianna usually just improvised hers on the spot and never prepared but she could tell Gabrial was a bit taken aback by their new assignment.

Hearing him mutter something about the library, she thought about offering to help him out. It was something she had done twice already and she didn't mind finding another excuse to hang out with him. For now, she worked on putting as much food on her plate as physically possible and began to dig in. "Wow, hunting?" That was certainly impressive, Fianna had to admit. A brief image of Gabrial flashed through her mind with him using some handmade bow and arrow to shoot down deer or ducks. "Just don't try hunting in the Forbbiden Forest." She laughed. "They really worked you guys hard." She commented in between bites.

She topped her goblet up and took another drink. "Say, if ya'd like I could help ya with your speech. Maybe look it over for ya. There's not much to it, most first years are so nervous that they don't pay you much mind the first night away."
The Chinese Quarter was a questionable place to be in at best. At worst, it meant your life had hit rock bottom, likely why it wasn't a place Hisano knew very well. It screamed danger and she knew C-sec probably smart to stay away. She hated being thrown on many wild goose chases but there wasn't much she could do but hope that eventually she'd find the right place. She still didn't know what had happened to her parents and she was beginning to fear the worst since she hadn't heard a confirmation from them. It was also possible that they were in hiding and wouldn't respond to her text until she reached out to them. Hisano was worried and felt like her brain was working overtime. This was not how she wanted to spend her Friday night.

Standing outside the door, she jumped when a slot slid and revealed someone eyeing her. She scowled slightly and entered the bar when allowed. She held her tongue for the time being and stepped inside.

Not too bad...

Now that she was bathing in the blue neon glow from the bar's backdrop, she didn't feel much safer, nor any closer to answers. Why would Tommy want to bring her here? Did he know someone who would help him? Her eyes lingered on the cluster of triads. She hoped they weren't someone Tommy was dumb enough to get involved in. She looked a the other patrons but none of them really stood out. Maybe that was the point. Keep a low profile, keep your head down and no one would ask any questions. Hisano had questions though but wasn't sure who to approach.

The man behind the bar was a time honored cliche and looked the least likely to give her a hostile response so she sauntered over and took a seat. Hisano took another drag and pulled over an ashtray to tap her cinders into. She scanned the rows of bottles in front of her but didn't know what to get. She needed a drink but she also hoped by buying one, the guy would be more willing to tell her what he knew about Tommy. Of course Hisano assumed he had to be a regular or know a guy, if he wanted to hide out. She put her cigarette out and held up her two fingers to signal she was ready to order. "Hey uhhh give me whatever a shot of something strong." She asked as she turned around in the stool.

There was something else Tommy had mentioned but she was struggling to remember who or what it was. His computer's recording ended with him addressing someone. Tal-something. She leaned back and turned around the bartender once more. She didn't want to just come out and ask if he knew about Tommy, while she wasn't some seasoned, hard-boiled investigator, her gut was telling her to be very cautious. But at the same time, she felt like time wasn't on her side and she couldn't keep dragging her keep, plagued by uncertainty. "Is there someone named...Tal...esin?" She asked the guy behind the bar, hoping she got the name right.
No problem. :)
