One-Piece: A New Legend [Help Me Not Make This Dead]

Logue Town was not exactly the ideal destination Lily had in mind. Well, for a start, she wanted to go to an island that is a bit livelier, and more welcoming. She even went a long way from South Blue from her home town in Cinnamon Island to supposedly start an adventure, and see lots of incredible things, but here she is, standing in a rather bleak looking pier. Although Lily was thankful for the good Captain of the Grumpy Maiden, a fishing vessel from Cinnamon Island who agreed to take her as far as East Blue, Lily cant help but feel a bit disappointed. After saying her thanks to the Captain and his crew, Lily decided to check out the town anyway. On her way though, Lily noticed the line of ships that dotted the town pier, and what makes her even more uneasy was that the majority of those ships are flying black flags. Lily knew with the number of those ships here, it wont be long before the Marines would come snooping in, and that could only mean trouble for her.

Back in Cinnamon Island, Lily steals for a living. Well, she's not particularly good at it to begin with, she never went for the bigger catch, just things she needed at the time, food and clothing, not even money. Stealing didn't really got her into trouble until one day she stole a bag of fruits. Lily ate the content of the bag right away, most of them taste like ripe mangoes, but one fruit particularly taste like raw meat, it even looked peculiarly funny, shaped like a lady's purse. Unaware of who the owner of the bag was, Lily went on with her day as usual. Until the next day, she was suddenly rounded up by the local police. They dragged her up to the pub where she stole the bag and to her surprise, the place was packed with Marines, and in the middle of it all was a huge man wearing a white coat. He appears to be the owner of the bag. He asked her where the bag is, but of course Lily denied she knew any of such bag at all. Out of patience, the man stood and was about to hit her when Lily swiped her hand in front of her, a zipper suddenly popped out of nowhere. Driven by adrenaline, Lily quickly unzipped it, the man's hand slipped into the hole in the air, and right at the same moment the man's hand vanished into sight, it reappears just in front of his own face from another hole only to hit himself with his own hand, knocking himself over. Lily used the moment of confusion to make a run of it.

She ran towards the docks, with no particular plan at all. Lily saw the Maiden was about to sail off, so she boarded it, and then before she could process it all, here she is, in Logue Town, with a strong feeling that something bad is about to happen.

Also, question: We're allowed to create our own devil fruit, right, or did I read into it wrong?

Completed my Marine and almost done with my Pirate. And yeah, I adjusted Nicholas a bit. Instead of having a devil's fruit I've made him superhuman. lol

I am debating if I should make her a sword woman or a devil fruit, cloud logia was my idea.

That's fine with me. Though I guess only one could get a devil's fruit if both character and pet works as one. A first mate sounds about right.

Sorry to ask this noob question but, how do you use the hider code several times in a single post? I cant seem to do it. All I can get to work is the first one, and then the rest would come off as code. Help? :/

Nicholas

Name: Nicholas Rigel

Devil's Fruit: None

Abilities: Nicholas can use Haki, particularly the Bosushoku Haki. This enables him to reinforce his attacks to deal more damage, and to bypass certain protection a Devil's Fruit user has allowing him to hit the user's real body. Naturally, Bosushoku Haki is also an invisible armor that protects the user from particular attacks, and with Nicholas case, he could deflect most basic attacks by imbuing Haki to cetain parts of his body to block of the damage. Aside from Haki, Nicholas also knows how to use Rokushiki. He can use all six techniques efficiently, but he particularly specializes with Soru. The technique gives him the usual advantage of moving in high speed, but he has done a couple of variations to it as well. For example, he will reinforce his fist with Haki and then with Soru, punches the enemy in an extremely fast pace giving them no time to keep up. Or he can imbue his body with Haki, making himself stone hard, and then hurls himself with such speed towards the enemy, knocking them real hard.

Personality: At first glance, Nicholas appears to be pretty harmless. He is very energetic, while being enigmatic at the same time. He loves to give people funny names, and teases them a lot. Although he acts as happy-go-lucky, and is very carefree, Nicholas is also quite perceptive and a very skilled fighter. Which why his colleagues calls him the "Demon of Light" because when in battle, Nicholas appears to put on a calm yet a quite tougher (and fiercer) demeanor.

Bio: He came from the island of Pol in East Blue. The island was supposed to be the center of astrological studies, and for thousands of years, it was being inhabited by astronomers and scientist to study heavenly bodies. Both Nicholas's parents were scientists in this island. They were happy for a time, satisfied with what they do and the sense of peacefulness the island gives them, until all of that was taken away when a certain group of pirates invaded Pol. His parents was quick to notice that there was something wrong in town, and so they hid Nicholas along with other important stuff in a cargo crate at the bottom of their basement hoping that no one will notice him there. It was the longest night for little Nicholas, he heard explosions, gun fires, sounds of metal clashing, and most definitely the villagers' cries. The sounds tormented his young mind well enough that exhaustion soon took over. The next morning when woke up, he heard voices of men talking just on top of his crate. Then what he did next was either stupid or brave, he burst out of his box then screamed on top of his lungs hoping it'll scare them away. Sure they were startled, but they didnt walked away as he expected. The men exchanged looks then one of them lift Nicholas up from the crate. They told him that they are Marines who came to help the villagers from the raiding pirates, but they arrived a little too late and could save only a few. Unfortunately his parents didnt make it. One of the men offered to take care of Nicholas, and with his village destroyed and having no where to go, Nicholas agreed to go with him. From there on out, he trained to become a Marine himself hoping that by doing so he could save lives, and could prevent another tragedy like the one happened to the island of Pol.

Devils fruit: Hachu Hachu no Mi, Model: Ryu (Reptile Reptile Fruit, Model: Dragon)

Devil's Fruit type: Mythical Zoan

Ability: His devil's fruit enables him to transform himself into a full pledge crimson Wyvern or a nasty dragon-human hybrid. In either form, he will have the brute strength and other abilities of a dragon such as being impervious to heat or most fire attacks. With his thick skin/scales he can withstand most attacks, particularly the chief elementals, and would have little effect on him. Instead of fiery breath however, he could throw powerful blast of bluish energy that either scorches or freezes the enemy. The only downside of his devil's fruit is that just by merely staying in one form depletes his energy quite fast and if he stays too long in a fight, he will end up really exhausted and wont be able to fight at all.

Personality: One thing you should know about Rufus is that the only two things that makes him happy is gold and ale. He wouldnt care less if the world ends tomorrow as long as he's sitting on top of a gold stash with a good ale in hand. Rufus is a loud, perverted, enigmatic, drunk old man. He loves parties, and gambling.

Sure they can. :) Their pets can also have devil's fruit abilities if you want. That'd be interesting. Oh I'm making a pirate character, though I'm still not sure whether to make him a Captain or first mate. >,>
