Nyima reached the bottom of the stairs and found Rayn sitting on a stool at the counter. She beamed and walked over to him. She smiled at the Old Man and nodded, "I did... Thank you."

When he mentioned her clothing, she looked down at them, missing the wink to Rayn. She nodded her head, "They are very different from what I am used to. Look," she said as she took a seat at the bar, "You can see my hands and neck and chest," She looked at Rayn, all smiles, "And only two layers. Back home you wouldn't be able to, let alone allowed, to wear anything like this... No skin, seven layers."

She shook her head and sighed, "Getting dressed always took forever. But this." She said showing off the outfit, "Did take long to get in at all."

Her legs began to swing in the empty space of the stool as her feet could not touch. She played with her hair a little and looked at Rayn, "Thank you, for the clothes... and dinner... and board.... I promise, I'll pay you back when I can.".
Nyima heard the knock at the door and put down the item she was fiddling with. She opened the door and looked down at the bag. Crouching down, she pulled out one of the clothing items and smiled. She jumped to her feet and ran from the room. She ignored the fact that she didn't have socks or shoes, or that she was only dressed in her tank top and pants from the previous night. She spotted Rayn near the bottom, "Hey!" she called, the smile still on her face, "Thanks..."

She turned back around and walked to her room, grabbing the bag. Pulling out the clothes, she went about trying them on. She was surprised by how well they fit and how different the clothes were to those in the North. With the cold, every inch of skin, save the face, was covered to prevent any frost bite. Here, they didn't have to worry about the cold. She looked at her skin and grinned. She looked in the mirror and examined herself as she quickly put her hair up. Once she was done, she pulled on her shoes and coat and ran down the stairs, hoping Rayn hadn't left.
"Ask?" Nyima said as Rayn took her hand and pulled her out from behind the wall. She was greatly confused at what he was talking about, the White Lotus weren't just going to answer him. But he didn't seem interested in the White Lotus, instead he asked the woman behind them. The woman had something about her that just screamed cop to Nyima. Maybe it was the way she held herself. She answered Rayn's question as vaguely as possible and Nyima noticed the look she gave her, or more so the fact that she looked at her, when she mentioned civilians. Nyima looked away not bothering with it, they weren't getting the information for that source. When the group was a little ways away, Nyima noticed two people poking their heads out from behind the wall that Rayn and her had been hiding behind. She squeezed his hand, "Two o'clock... They aren't exactly stealthy..."

She looked back at them and her heart dropped while her stomach rose into her throat. She looked directly at the male and noticed at she recognized him. She looked up at Rayn then back to the man, "I... I... I think that's Zhou...."
Nyima played more with her food than she ate it. When Rayn brought up the possibility of never seeing her parents again, she could feel the stinging in her eye. She closed them tightly and sighed, "I spent... the entire way here thinking about never seeing them or my brother again... It isn't something I want... but I'm scared that... If I go back... or if I had stayed... If I got married like they wanted me to, I would end up resenting them."

She felt a tear escape for her eye and dropped her chopstick, wiping it away. She sniffled a little, "I don't want to hate them for making choices for me... And I don't want to be in a marriage with no love. When I get married, I want it to be to the right person," she looked at him and smiled lightly, "But... you probably just think I'm a little kid... and I can't deny that... I ran away from home to a place I where I know nothing and no one and had to end up getting saved by some stranger..."

She shook her head, "I can't deny that at all..."

She looked at her nearly full bowl of noodles but had no interest in eating them, "You said something about a place to sleep?"
Nyima woke in a warm bed the next day. It took her a minute to figure out were she was and when she did she smiled slightly. Despite the scare the night before and leaving her family, she was happy with what she done. She stretched and looked around, examining every little thing in the room. Rayn had said he would be back in the morning and she didn't have a clue what to do in the meantime... Not to mention, she was a little scared to roam the streets alone.
Flynn watched as the wizard walked up to the door and was turned away in a similar fashion that he was. He laughed a little and nodded, when Trex commented, saying that he found out Flynn had told the truth. He shook his head a little, "Man, it would have been a lot easier if they just said it at the start or put the sign up after we left. What did they expect us to do?"

He looked at Trex as he came to the conclusion that he had cheated. Zelia looked at him, "Okay, now you are just trying to pick a fight. First with Ryzo, now with this poor sucker. What has gotten into you?"

"Peacocking," Flynn suggested. Zelia looked at him and hit him lightly. Flynn smirked, "Come on, Z. He is just trying to look tough for someone. He should let him."

Zelia shook her head, "No fighting. I am now canopying the promise over all wizards. No fighting, period."

"Well now how is he going to show of his pretty feathers?" Flynn snickered. Zelia smacked him in the gut. He let out an oof like sound. Rubbing his stomach, he sighed, "Fine, I'll stop bugging."
Zelia shook her head, "Well, I'm not off my game," she thought about it, "Still a little tired, but I'm probably better off than you," she teased.

She placed her hand on his arm when he brought up Flynn, "They aren't going to do anything to Flynn."

She nodded her head and started to walk when Trex suggested they head back to the house. Sure enough, there Flynn was standing at the door. The door closed, which concerned her slightly but when Flynn walked down the stairs, he still had a smile on his face. She nodded, "Let's go find out."

She ran over to Flynn and smiled at him, "That didn't look good, is everything okay?"

Flynn nodded, "Sure is, the man is going to address everyone at noon," He shrugged, "Would have been nice if they explained that but oh well."

He put his hand into empty pocket and looked at the others, "Surely," he began, "This isn't it. There has to be other challenge of some sort... A race for a key that I can just grab a car for...That isn't very... It isn't going to ensure that it goes to a good wizard."

Zelia placed her hand on his shoulder, "I don't think this is it. I think it is just step one. Don't worry, you are going to win and the spirit will then be with a great wizard."
