Elliot looked up at him as he groaned, waking up. She felt his hand move to his leg and quickly grabbed it moving it away, "Don't. You are tender down there."

She climbed out of the bed and grabbed the pain meds from her kit and attached them to the IV in his arm. She smiled at him and kissed his forehead, "Those will kick in soon."

She crawled back into the bed, careful not to touch his new leg. She kissed his cheek, "How are you? Other than the pain in your leg?"

Elliot sat there as they worked around Jacob's leg. She nearly laughed, if you asked her a few years ago if she could sit there while her boyfriend's leg was being removed and not feel the need to vomit, she would have said no. Yet, here she was, watching the two men as they worked. She was even a little fascinated by the doctor. At one point, she did have to leave the room quickly, to grab something to eat or go to the washroom. However, she was always back as soon as possible.

Sometime later, the two men finished giving Jacob his brand new leg and left Elliot, the doctor feeling comfortable that she was competent to take care of him. Although, he did tell her that he would be in a few times to check in on the progress. Once they left, she climbed into the bed beside Jacob and rested her head on his chest, listening to his steady breathing.

Elliot gave him a soft smile, "Thank you."

She turned and went back into the room. She walked over to the bed and sat on the edge, making sure to be on the opposite side of his leg. She took his hand in hers and kissed it. She smiled at him, "Jacob and Ellie has a better ring than anything I can think of... You don't need a nickname."

She waved the doctor away as she took the IV from him. She slipped it into Jacob's arm and placed her hand over it, "I'll be right here when you wake up."

Elliot looked at him, stunned, "I... I will be... I always will be..."

She placed her hand on the door and hesitated, "Kyle... You know this is never going to happen right?" She glanced at him and sighed, "I asked Jacob to propose to me... When we get out of all of this.... If something were to happen to him before then... I'm not sure I have it in my heart to love someone else.... Even if I did... They'd always be number two to him and you don't deserve that. You deserve to be some lucky girls number one."

Elliot jumped when the others entered the room and quickly made space between her and Jacob. They all probably knew the two of them were together but it was strange being caught being intimate on a bed together. She didn't know the mechanic and, well, it was a little awkward around Kyle. She looked at Kyle as he spoke to her, suggesting that she stay in the room. She nodded and looked at the men, quickly climbing out of the bed. As uncomfortable as it was lying on the bed it was even more so staying in the bed. Although, standing there in Jacob's shirt wasn't much better. She leaned over and kissed his cheek, "I'll be right here."

She looked between the men, "I'm just going to talk to Kyle while you set up."

Grabbing a pair of jeans, she pushed him into the hall and closed the door behind her, "God!" She said as she pulled on her pants, "A knock or some warning would have been nice!"

Vampire Academy ~ Rememberance

Anya looked at him and shook her head, as she released his hand, "You aren't getting rid of me that easily, Sebastian. Besides, as... Scary as it was... You had good intentions..."

She put her things back into her bag and smiled at him, "The spirit may be you but like you said, it amplifies. You would never have gone that... ballistic on Jenna if you didn't have Spirit. So in a way it is both you and not you," She laughed and shook her head again, "I'm starting to confuse myself,"

When he mentioned Anna and Gunner, she nodded, "I'm sure they are..." She stood there a moment longer, taking Sebastian in before she turned away and toward the cafeteria. She looked over her shoulder at him, "Well, come on," She brushed a stray hair out of her face and glanced at him, "Do you want to stop by the feeders first?"

Gunner piled a meal of relatively healthy selections onto his tray and followed Anna to their table. He sat down next to her and picked up his apple. As she spoke, he bit into it. He pondered her question before shrugging, "I don't know... I think so. I mean, he was trained by Guardian Belikov and Guardian Hathaway... Who are two of the best Guardians out there. Not to mention Guardian Rose Hathaway is Guardian Janine Hathaway's daughter, another amazing Guardian. I think he'd have to be pretty horrible not to be amazing with those mentors."

He pursed his lips, "Then again, you know how much Moroi love to embellish."

Serena nodded got into position as well, if he was countering, she was going to have to punch at him. The thought of that hurt her head a little, they didn't attack Moroi. However, before she could manage to wrap her head around it, Guardian Belikov was asking Sebastian if he wanted to learn to stake a Strigoi. Her eyes widened, she had heard of a couple Moroi staking Strigoi and one Moroi staking a Moroi, a queen Moroi even. She was still slightly amazed that a teacher was offering this to a student. She was a little lost in the conversation, their English spoken to quickly and Belikov's voice masked with an accent that she was struggling to understand. They mentioned Anya and Strigoi... Serena could only assume the worst. From Sebastian's look, she decided not to ask about her, not now at least. The conversation got turned to her then. She, luckily, did understand what Alek was asking. She nodded, "Si, Guardiano Belikov."

When he walked away, Serena quickly retrieved a practice stake. There was a heaviness in the air that put Serena on edge slightly. She took Sebastian's wrist and placed the stake in his hand. She took his other hand and placed it at the end, "You like Tiramisu. Have you ever had real Tiramisu? From Italia?"

Rae held up his hands when she waved the book in front of him, "Woah, woah, do you want to close up my throat or something?"

He chuckled and looked around the room, "Well, if you come to your senses and realize you want to something other than school work, come find me."

He stuffed his hands into his pockets and walked out of the room. He didn't really know where to go or what to do. Finally, he turned to face the Novice, "Kseniya, right? Where is your accent from? You clearly aren't from anywhere near Montana."

Gunner gave Niya a nod when he saw he before he returned his attention to his assignment. She was flirting, if he was going to have to sit through Gabby flirting with a bunch of guys, he was pretty sure his ears were going to bleed. He leaned back against the wall and inspected the room. This was going to be a long year, he was sure of it.

Basil followed Anna into the forest. When they reached a spot that Anna deemed far enough away, she nodded, "I don't think anyone is really wandering out this far during any point of the day anymore... The whole Strigoi attack... Kind of freaked the Moroi out. Parents drilling into their children's heads to stay away from the wards, keep near the school. Blah, blah, blah."

She let Anna move her around as necessary to get into the correct positioning. When she explained everything, Basil nodded in understanding, "Well... Run as long as it doesn't inconvenience the Guardian... Of course."

Chaos

Ophelia looked at him a whistled, "Hermes can do that?"

She laughed a little and sheathed her sword, "Ya... I'm pretty sure I got a little help along the way..." She yawned, "Seth... is in Mars's temple with his dad... He's fine. I managed to heal him."

She slowly sunk to her knees, absolutely worn out from the fighting and healing. All the extra energy she had, to get to Seth and to heal him as she had, slipped out of her as she slumped to the floor and passed out.

Chaos
