Nyima walked over to him and placed her hands on her hips. She looked up at him, "I may be weak and I may need help but I'm not a charity case. I'm going to pay you back, whether it be with money or doing things around your place. And you don't have much of a choice," she smiled at him, "I'll have dinner ready for seven."

She walked passed him and into her room. She grabbed her coat and pulled it on before coming back out. She nodded to him, "I'm going to go now... Get as much done before it gets dark and you are back."

She smiled at him, "I'll see you when you get home. And I promise not to get killed while I'm out."

She laughed a little and waved before she left to get what need to be done over with before it was time for her to start making dinner.
Nyima looked at the girl dumbfounded, she got that she really wanted to be part of the conversation, in fact she felt a little bad for Rayn and Mizuki. They were after all unnecessary wheels in her and Zhou's conversation. Her look shifted into a slight glare when she mentioned how they were late of an appointment and had to go. She acted as if her and her brother's reunion was nothing but a hinderance. She understood, that the girl didn't really care about their reunion but that didn't stop it from being a big deal. She didn't even care that she was supposed to be seeing the Avatar, in fact, she didn't give to flying hoots. The girl could walk the five feet in broad daylight to the building without her brother. She had questions about the North and the answers didn't involve the words, I can't speak for your family. She balled her hands up into fists when Rayn spoke up, stating that they were probably going to finding the Avatar, most likely trying to keep the girl there a little longer. She took a deep breath and calmed herself, preventing herself from punching the girl for her disrespect of the moment her brother and she were having. She looked at Rayn and smiled slightly, giving him a small nod of thanks. She looked back at her brother, "You did... Well it looks like you had the right idea... You found me...." She stole a glance at Mizuki before looking at her brother. She was looking for answers that she cared about not some summary of the politics of a nation she hardly connected herself to anymore. She was blunt with her question, not wanting to even give the girl a chance to steer the conversation away from it, "How are mom and dad?... Are they healthy? Well?... Do they hate me? Do... Do they even talk about me?"

Zenji was about to bow on the ground like the rest, when she noticed the clear look of shock and distress of Masuto's face. She was sure that it was disrespectful in some way not to bow before the Avatar when he was being named but she wasn't going to get on the ground and allow him to have a panic attack. She grabbed his arm and smiled, "Hey... It's okay..."

She held his arm for a moment before she released it, "When Avatar Aang found out he was the Avatar he ran and hid himself in an iceberg for a hundred years. You're already taking it better than him and look what he achieved for us."

She noticed one of the White Lotus looking at her, clearly not impressed by her lack of bowing and slight disrespect of Aang. She ignored it though, Masuto needed her standing and making him feel better. She took his hand that held the stuffed Air Bison she had given him and held it up. She looked at him with a small smile on her face, "Need a cuddle buddy?"

She grinned and came to terms with something he might be freaking out about. Air. She gave him a soft smile, "As an airbender... I wouldn't mind helping you... I'm not a master but I could teach you until you find a real one... I wouldn't mind..." She shrugged, "I also know some hide out that we could go to, that are bound to have a master."

She squeezed his hand along with the bison, "No Avatar has done it alone... And neither will you... Now, it is just a matter of making your team."
Nyima thought about it a moment when he asked about her plans for the day. She rocked on her feet slightly, "I was planning on going down to the market and talking to that woman again... Seeing if she can point me the right direction of a Waterbending Master, who'll be willing to teach me... Then I figured I'd go and convince them to teach me... I'll probably try and find some place to work while I'm out. I'm going to need money after all... I'm not going to let you buy everything for me and what I have, I can't live on that for the rest of my life..."

She walked away from the counter and back over to the mat, "Then I guess it is a bit of practicing."

She pursed her lips and looked back into the kitchen, "And maybe I'll make dinner for you, as a thanks.... Do you work today? You're a police officer, right?"
Nyima jumped when Rayn spoke to her, dropping the water of the mat. She opened her eyes and looked at him, "Oh sorry!"

She quickly bended it off the ground and into the glass. She blushed slightly, it looked like Rayn had been there doing his own stuff for quite sometime. She had been so absorbed in her own bending, she hadn't even heard him come in. She scratched the back of her head, "I'm good, I'm slept well last night, better than the night before."

She walked over to the cup and picked it up, "Just practicing a little... I didn't want to accidently spill any on your floor... Apparently it was a good idea just to grab a small glass."

She brought it into the kitchen and poured it out. She smiled at him, "What about you? Starting to regret your decisions, yet?"
Haha she was just so excited and happy to prove that Flynn is great. That spirits are asking to be with him... ;P Hope Twilla doesn't get into too much trouble.
Flynn let out a sigh relief when the curator dismissed Maria. It made him incredibly happy to know that she was not going to win the key, he was getting worried for a minute there. He watched the man as he looked passed him and at Amber. Pea started to jump up and down when she too was dismissed. Flynn placed his hands on her shoulders, "Win gracefully, Pea."

The small spirit stopped jumping and smiled at the man as he spoke to Flynn. Flynn bowed to him as he handed him the key, "I will make sure of it."

He looked at the key in his hand, beaming. He attached it to his key ring and looked at Amber. He laughed and nodded his head, "As were you mine. Excuse me a moment, I have a contract to make," He looked down at Pea and knelt before hugging her, "You did well, kid. I've got to talk to Zhar-Ptitsa."

Pea nodded and the two of them closed her gate. He got to his feet and smiled at Amber, "I'll see you around."

He stepped away from the girl and held up his hand to his friends. He walked over to a quieter area and summoned the spirit of the yellow key. He smiled broadly at the man that stood before him, "Hey, I'm Flynn... Sorry I'm from out of the family that's been handing you down for years... But I hope we'll make a good team... Now... contract."

Zelia watched as Flynn walked a little ways away and summoned his newest spirit. She looked at Trex, "He did it! I mean, I knew he would but he actually did."

She looked over at the Caelum wizards and pursed her lips, "They don't look to happy about it... You don't think that they are planning something to get back at Flynn for winning?" She looked over to the white haired boy as he spoke with his spirit, "Maybe we should go over there... Just to make sure."
I'm cool with waiting c: It makes everything exciting.
Flynn relaxed slightly when he asked Twilla why she believed her wizard deserved the key. Meaning there wouldn't be a fight and Pea wouldn't be in any danger. He looked at Maria, not happy that he had brought out Twilla. The poor spirit looked like she was shivering in her boots. He shook his head, the poor spirit stammered for a reason that woman deserved this key. To him that meant she didn't deserve it. Pea was bouncing up and down when he got to her. She and Flynn both made a face when he used the word master. She shook her head, "Flynn doesn't use that word... But um... He should get it because," she shrugged, "He's Flynn. He wants the best for us and he is super duper nice to us. He gives us choices and doesn't tell us what to do. That's why Lepus runs off on him sometimes. He cares about us and knows us. He didn't want to choose me because he didn't want me to get hurt. But he knew that the others wouldn't like being watch or would just want to fight and be done with it. Me, I just want to help him. That's why we opened my gate... Spirits like being with him, that's why Florin asked to be found by Flynn," she gasped and covered her mouth, "Oops. I wasn't supposed to tell anyone that."

She shook her head, "But all the same, Flynn loves us and we love him!"
Oh no, I knew you would. I'm just worried about what it is.
OH GAWD!!!
