Anastasia managed to kick off her shoes at some point while she ran out of the room. The shoes were not for running, she was better off without them. She was just out of the room when Samsul fell in step with her. She didn't look at him as she ran. She didn't even know where to start looking of her dog. She decided the garden and her room were likely, as they were the two places she had gone the most with Melor and also the last places they had been together. When she searched both and found him in neither, the thought of her own roaming came to mind. Melor got bored and liked to wander around. He could be anywhere in the castle and if he had managed to slip by a guard... or thought a stray... He could be anywhere.

She covered her face as she stood in her empty room. How could she forget about Melor. Sure, everything was crazy and hectic and new but Melor was her best friend and she was responsible for him. If anything happened to him, she didn't know what she would do. It would be all her fault. She looked at Samsul, her eyes watering, "M-Maybe he's at the stables... They have a field for the horses after all.... Maybe he's there..."
Anastasia sat in that silence with Samsul as Eric brought over the food for them. She bowed her head and muttered a very quiet thank you to the man. He left shortly after. She picked up her fork and started to eat, continuing the silence. She was halfway through her stew when she spoke again. She looked around and her eyes suddenly widened, "Have you seen Melor?"

She hadn't even been thinking about that small dog until then. But now that she was, she realized she hadn't seen him in sometime. Had he gone to sleep with her on the bed? Or had she not seen him for nearly two days now. She felt horrible, how could she neglect him so much to the point where she didn't even notice that he was gone. She dropped her fork and stood. She looked under the table, in hopes that the dog may be there but she wasn't so lucky. She looked back at Samsul, her hands fidgeting with her dress, before she quickly left the room in search of her dog.
Anastasia looked at Samsul when his voice trailed off. She looked back at the table and just stared at it, "Like my father."

She hadn't met the man other than in the hour between her being born and sent off. She had no recollection of that moment in time. Since he died not long after, she never even saw him rule as King. Her parents seemed to have a better connection with her father than she did. When she had asked one year why the Queen didn't have a King like those in her storybooks, her mother practically started to cry. She guessed that when someone is a kind ruler, they have that effect on people. Her mother would too. She looked back at Samsul and smiled slightly. She assumed that she was the reason his voice had grown weak, worried about speaking about him in front of her. She shook her head slightly, "Don't worry about it... I never knew my dad... As a King or my father... It is kind of hard to get worked up over someone you never knew... even if they are half the reason you are here...."
Anastasia looked at Samsul as he explained to her that if she was hungry at any point of the day, she would just have to come and ask. It was stranger thinking about the fact that if she wanted to eat whenever she wanted. She rested her head on her hand and relaxed. She smiled and nodded her head, "Thank you. But if I do that and come here alone, I fear you might not even eat."

She leaned back in her seat after and sighed slightly. She relaxed into her seat and sat there a moment. She looked up at the ceiling as she sat there, "I didn't expect it to be like this... I don't know how I feel about it. I like it here... and I love being near my mother.... My actual mother... but it just feels like there something looming... always..." she shook her head, "I'm conflicted."
Anastasia was surprised and rather pleased that Eric was working on a stew. She had always enjoyed stew. She smiled and bowed her head slightly in thanks but remained quiet as he then turned to speak with Samsul. With a nod from him, Eric ran off back to the kitchen. Anastasia was looking at the door, trying to figure out how they were watching for her and Samsul while continuing to work at making food. She was biting her lip again, deep in thought, when Samsul's voice pulled her out of it. She giggled a little, embarrassed, when he asked her what it was that had caused her to snicker. She smiled at him, "Myself... Twice now we've come in here and haven't even had to make our presence known. I was thinking how it made me feel like Princess. Which I found amusing since all of this, my room, the castle, these dresses, you, should make me feel like a Princess... But nope, it is the fact that the kitchen staff knows when I'm here that makes this all real," she laughed again at the thought.
Anastasia looked up at Eric when he came into the dining hall and about of the kitchen. Did they have someone watching out for them? Did they even have to go to the kitchen anymore to address Eric and the rest for a meal. It made her feel like a Princess. She giggled a little at the thought. It was not the dresses, nor the castle, or the personal guard but the fact that the kitchen staff was keeping an eye out for her that made her feel like a Princess. She covered her mouth, when she realized that it must have seemed rather random to Eric and Samsul. She looked between the two of them, "Sorry... Got lost in my head," She bit her lip as she thought about what is was that she wanted. She looked at Eric again, "Do you have any stew handy? If not... that's fine. I'll take whatever you have..."

She grinned at him and put her hands in her lap, "Your food is good no matter what after all."
Anastasia looked at him as he explained what he had been talking about. She smiled slightly and laughed lightly, if she was a fighter, she too might wish to test her skills against Samsul. She looked ahead of them as they walked, "She has determination. It must be hard to continually lose and still wish to try again."

She giggled, "I'm sure she doesn't work as much as you though... Not that I'm sure anyone can."

They reached the dining hall and took her usual seat. She smiled again at Samsul, "I should ask my mother to join us one of these nights."
Anastasia allowed him to turn to Kala and speak to her before she spoke to him again, "Going to see Eric sounds like a good idea."

She stepped back slightly to allow him to exit the building. She felt bad, she felt as though she was dragging him away from something. If she had only stayed away, maybe Samsul would still be hanging out with his friends. She waved to those who still stood in the armoury as they closed the door. Once it was, she looked at Samsul, she blushed slightly, "Sorry, for dragging you away... I didn't mean too... I was just curious what you were doing..."

She started to walk with him toward the dining hall, "What were you talking about? To Kala? Trying again?"
Zelia placed her hand on Trex's shoulder when he complained about the Caelum Wizards' back door trickery. She smiled softly at him and dropped her hand as he changed the subject to the small Exceed between them. Bodo smiled and launched into the story of how Gyastu saved him from people picking on him in a similar way to how Trex had. Zelia smirked, that must have been part of the reasoning that he had taken so kindly to Trex. It seemed though that Bodo would be somewhat self sufficient. It wasn't sure how much he would be able to do but he said he had lived a few years without his dragon slayer, so he had got by. Even if it was just barely. The conversation was mainly carried by Bodo after that, him spouting stories about his Gyastu. It seemed he was a rather talkative fellow and they had just released the beast. Zelia didn't mind though, it allowed her to sit and think, only piping in from time to time.

Zelia hopped off the cart back in Magnolia, a little before dawn. She wasn't sure if Trex was awake in the back but she had gone through with her plan of driving whether he was awake or not. She assumed the cart jolting about was sure to wake him... She was curious what kept him. She released the two horses and the Old Man ran over to her, "Hey, I do that."

Zelia looked at him and nodded, "Well you did," She pulled out a part of her portion of the reward and handed it to him, "That is the last installment of the amount I owe you for the horses. And no raising the price, I got your price in writing after you did that the first time, remember."

The man groaned a little, he hadn't actually expected her to make enough to buy them off of him. She smiled and led the two horses away slightly, "We'll clear out our things and leave it to you."

She walked over to the cart and opened the flap. She looked at Trex and the sleeping Bodo, "Rise and shine. We'd best be quick if we want to ask around the guild about Gyastu, we've got to get on the road to take these horses home."

Flynn looked at Skye when she ran up to him and smiled, "Don't worry about it. I was copying it all down and reading and re-reading. You didn't miss much," He looked at his scribbling of the book and then his notes from it. Grinning, he nodded, "I found quite a lot. If you can read my writing, feel free to read the book."

He smiled, "In the meantime, let's find a place to stay for the night."
~
Flynn had slept on the floor in a shared room with Skye. He didn't see a reason to get two rooms and he wasn't going to take the bed when she had worked so hard, using her magic the entire trip. When he woke, fully rested, his hair was a bit of a mess but he completely ignored it. He stood up and stretched before slipping into the bathroom and getting changed. Once he finished, he walked back into the room and tapped on the bed lightly, "Wakey wakey, let's go get some eggs and bakey."

He shook his head at the awful rhyme before he pulled out his copied various of the blue bound book. He pursed his lips, he'd probably read through it again. He had found a few things that he thought maybe clues to a location, but he was a little stumped. With Skye being from another country, she wasn't much help on that front but he didn't mind. If he just kept looking it over, the place would come to him... Maybe if he got his hands on a map.
Anastasia looked between the two elves, both of whom towered over her. She nodded at the woman, "He is quite dedicated," she looked at Samsul and smiled, "Leaders always have to work a little more."

She then looked to the woman and smiled, "It was a pleasure to meet you..." Amul walked passed her and into the armoury, whispering. Anastasia grinned, "Kala."

She looked around the armoury a little more, intrigued by what they were doing in it. They seemed to be talking when they noticed her but before a few of them were sparring. She glanced at Samsul, it would be interesting to see him fight someone. He seemed like he only ever spent his time bettering himself. She held her hands behind her back and looked up at Samsul, "Where shall we go?"
