When Natasha woke again, nothing hurt. Her arms no longer hung above her head and she lay on her back. She stared at the white ceiling as her vision cleared. There was a beeping sound coming from some machine that seemed to be somewhere around her. There was woman hanging over her all the sudden, "Hi, Mrs. Romano, I'm glad to see you're awake. I'm Dr. Morrison."

Her head was spinning as the woman continued to talk to her. Why did she call her Romano? Or Mrs for that matter? How had she gotten here? The doctor smiled at her again, "Don't worry. It is normal to feel a little disoriented. You are on a few pain meds and had to be sedated earlier."

"Why?" Natasha asked, her voice hoarse and gravely. She felt as though she hadn't spoke in days. The woman seemed to be looking at a bag that was connected to her arm, "Well, you woke up we were tending to you and... It was to prevent you from hurting yourself. You seemed to be flailing like you were trying to hit someone."

Natasha nodded. Dr. Morrison leaned over her and shone a light into her eye, "Can you tell me your full name?"

Natasha hesitated, could she? She was in a hospital and she knew that Loki wasn't the one who brought her here. The doctor had just called her Mrs. Romano, which meant she was under an alias... That she didn't know. Whoever brought her here, wanted to keep her hidden. Whether it was from S.H.I.E.L.D or Loki, she wasn't sure. Due to her lack of response Dr. Morrison smiled, yet again, "Don't worry. We are just going to run a few more tests... I'll tell your husband."

Natasha watched the woman leave, so the Mrs thing hadn't been a mistake. She was just curious to who it was she got married to while unconscious.

Dr. Morrison left the room and smiled at Clint, "She just woke up. Her vitals look good... However, she wasn't able to tell me her name... We are going to run a few more tests but please, feel free to go sit with her."
Gerald nodded as Samsul explained how the Princess was doing. When he finished, he sighed, "She does seem to be pretending to be strong.... But make sure she knows she doesn't have to be," He looked at Samsul, "It is rarely a good thing when someone takes the death of a loved one well."

He glanced at the door, "I think she may just be bottling it up. She has to become Queen after all and she doesn't feel like she is ready but she can't feel like she has to push aside her mother's death to get ready. It is good for a person to mourn... We'll continue our lesson but I think we won't work with the merchant till tomorrow..."

He turned around to open the door, "Ensure that she doesn't let this constant need to be dealing with the death well eat away at her."
Anastasia looked over her shoulder when Samsul entered the room. She nodded her head, "Good idea..."

She turned back around in her seat, hoping he couldn't tell how panicked she was. She looked up at Gerald, "While we wait... Why don't I try some writing... My penmanship is still horrid.... And if I'm going to be writing letters to people all the time, I'd best get better at it."

Gerald nodded and grabbed a piece of paper and pen. He patted his seat behind the desk, offering it to her. Anastasia smiled and took the seat before she began copying from a small book that Gerald had laid out of her. When she got into her writing, Gerald walked over to Samsul and invited him out into the hall. He looked at the younger man, "How is she doing?"
Anastasia blushed slightly when Samsul praised her for taking to the lesson so quickly. She looked up at Gerald while Samsul walked to the door, "The decision wasn't that big..."

Gerald chuckled, "On the contrary, your highness. Samsul is correct. When the war ends, we may be very dependent on what we get from trade or send out to trade. If we are trading things we do not have surplus of, that isn't going to do us well. Much like you said, why would be want wheat when we have wheat if we can get potatoes when we don't have them."

Anastasia bit her lip, she didn't know how she felt about this. Making decisions, sure she had made that one decision quite quickly but she wasn't even aware that that was what she was doing. She was merely asking to be taught by two people rather than one and gave reasons to support the inquiry. How was she going to handle making big decisions when she knew exactly what it was she was looking at. What if the decision wouldn't have a positive outcome... Could she do that? She started to panic slightly, decisions about trade were easy but what if it came to lives... decisions about war. Sure, she could ask Samsul and get his opinion but in the end, it would be her decision and she'd have to live with it. Gerald placed his hand on her shoulder, "Are you alright, Princess?"

"Hm... Oh yes.... I'm fine..."
Gerald looked at Samsul when he suggested bringing a merchant into speak with the Princess. He nodded, "Very wise, Samsul,"

He grabbed a piece of paper and quickly made note of the suggestion, "I doubt any merchant would deny an offer to come and teach the Princess..."

Anastasia looked at the paper, "Do you think we could get two?" She looked up at Gerald and met his confused look, "Someone who deals with other countries and someone who deals with those within the country. That way I learn what we are getting and what we already have... If it is a good year for wheat, we don't need to get more wheat..." She looked at the sheet again, "Some of these trades could probably be demolished in favor of better trades... For things we don't have an influx of. Also, by seeing what it is going for in our country... We can use that as a basis for a price point."
Natasha's eyes widened when Clint kissed her. No! He didn't know how she felt about him... She thought she had done so well hiding away those feelings. Then again, Loki had picked up on them. She kept her eyes open and refused the urged to kiss him back. She grunted as he stabbed her arm, the blade biting into her skin. She glanced at the blade in her arm, the blood oozing out from under it and slowly soaking her arm. Crap, he must have hit an artery. If he removed the blade, it wouldn't be too long time she died of blood loss.

She could feel blood trickling down her face and cheek as she stared at Barton. She moved her arms to the one hand was higher. She grabbed the chain of her handcuffs lifting herself up before she managed to send her knee into his temple. She leaned her head back for a moment, breathing. When she looked back up at the door and Barton. Her vision was getting woozy, her head spinning. She wonder if she got a concussion from when Hawkeye hit her. If she had, closing her eyes was the worse idea. However, she couldn't stop her head from drooping and her passing out, hanging there.
Well, singing classes at this festival. Basically, they are categories and you have to sing a song within that category then you get adjudicated on that performance. I have 7 songs this year -.- So, not regular classes.
Anastasia looked at Samsul and nodded, "Sounds good."

She stood and walked with him out of the dining hall. She didn't really know where to find Gerald, so she guessed poking her head into his office would be a good start. So, she did and the balding man looked toward the door as she walked. He gave her a sad smile before walking over to her and pulling her into a hug, "How are you doing, Princess?"

She sighed, "I've been better... I was hoping that you might have something to teach me... or that you were up to teaching me.... Distracting me from... everything."

Gerald nodded, "Yes, yes, of course, Princess."

He walked over to his desk and began to fuddle through pages, "Please, please, sit," Anastasia walked over to a seat and sat down, looking at her tutor. He pulled out the page he was looking for and handed it to Anastasia, "Lists of trades with the surrounding countries. I say, we start to go over it."
hahaha it is okay, I'm currently doing a music festival in my town, trying to go to Provincials again cx. I had a class at 9, 3 and 8 today and I have one tomorrow at 10, so I've been pretty all over the place to say, so I don't really mind. Just give me a general time of where I can start nagging you to post ;P
haha, I was thinking that maybe Loki steps out and Natasha manages to knock him one in the head. The reason I haven't done that yet is because I fee like Loki would run her through with his staff...
