Natasha mumbled something incoherently when Barton whispered that he was there. After a moment, her eyes opened as she stared at his shirt. It wasn't until she took a deep breath that she looked around the rest of the room. Her body felt numb of any pain, which was strange, since she went to bed slightly uncomfortable. She looked up at Barton again and smiled softly, "Say I love you once and we end up sleeping together... I must be rather sleazy."

She giggled a little and reached up, starting to play with her cannula that hung under her nose. She made a face, "I don't like this... It's uncomfortable... and I take it off?"

She lowered her arms quickly and winced holding her bandaged upper arm, "That huuuurt."

She quieted down for a moment and just sat there hold her arm, staring at the wall. Her eyebrows knitted together, "Do you really love me?"
The nurse smiled and nodded, "Sure thing, take your medication and I'll be right back."

It took her a few minutes to returned with the pillow and blanket. She handed him the pillow before throwing the blanket over him. She tucked the two of them under it together, not worrying about the woman getting overheated as the room was rather cold. She smiled at Clint, "If either of you need anything, with Natasha not being fully coherent, I want you to know that there is a call button on both sides of the bed and then the one for Natasha that hangs slightly off the bed. If something happens and you are worried at all, feel free to push it and one of us will be here soon."

Natasha whimpered in Clint arms, her hand balling his shirt into her fist. The nurse sighed, "Nightmares and hallucinations, sadly can be a side effect... So there may still be panic attacks but they will be ones of the drugs conceiving and she will be less likely to hurt herself," She nodded her head to him, "She is in good hands, I promise you."

With that she left the room and turned out the light to allow them to sleep.
Anastasia nodded as he explained why he had gotten lost in thought, "Right! Leader of the Lost Elves. Quite the honour, so you've said."

She smiled and gently continued to pour water on Gale, avoiding soaking Samsul again. He didn't say much as he continued to brush Gale. She assumed there was something else that he wasn't going to tell her. So, she decided to stop asking. As she continued to brush her horse, she hesitated, "How are you so confident?" She asked as she looked as best she could over the horse, "About leading your race. All you've said about it, is how much of an honour it is and how proud you are.... Aren't you a little worried... That... Maybe you won't be good enough?"
Natasha rested her head against Clint as he wrapped his arms around her. She felt tired lying in that bed unable to move or go anywhere else. Not to mention all the medication that had her on. It wasn't long for her to fall asleep yet again in Clint's arms. She hoped, as she drifted off, that she wouldn't have to wake again in a cold sweat.

The nurse came in shortly after and noticed the sleeping woman. She smiled and walked over to Barton and handed him a bottle of small pills, "Two every four hours or as needed. No less that two hours in between," she whispered. She walked to the other side of the bed and hung a bag on the stand next to Natasha's bed. As she hooked up the clear fluid filled bag, she looked at Clint, "We are putting her on Morphine. We were hoping that we wouldn't have to as it does cause a few unwanted side effects but we are hoping in the low dose we are giving her that she'll be fine and it will help keep her from pulling out her IVs. We don't want to make her feel like she is trapped, so we are hoping that this will keep her calm enough to prevent anymore panic attacks when she wakes up. However, she might be a little... well... out of it," She looked the two of them over, Natasha had to lie on her back which, even when she moved over left little room for Barton, "Would you like me to grab you a pillow or blanket."
Anastasia nodded when he said it was an accident. She turned back to Gale and continued to brush him. After a moment, she stopped and dried her hands on her dress. She walked over to him and placed a hand on his forehead. She pursed her lips, "No fever," she said more so to herself. Her eyebrows knitted together as she looked at him, "Is there something wrong?"

She walked over to the box of brushes and handed him one, "Here... If you are upset about my mother... Or something that Gerald said... Maybe brushing Gale will help keep your mind off whatever is bothering you," she grabbed a brush for herself and continued to you clean her horse. She peeked her head over his back every once in a while to steal a glance at Samsul, making sure he was alright. She bit her lip, "You know... You can talk about it... if you want..."
Haha, well at least they are being true to themselves.

Sucks, but lets you focus on posting ;P
Yay c;
Anastasia started to pour small cups of water from a trough on tougher dirt areas, softening it and cleaning him better. She noticed Samsul was hovering around slightly. She got that that was his job... but he seemed to be just hovering less. Even today, he was teaching her more that hovering and other days, though he hovers, he still talks to her. He seemed to be just hovering at the moment. She felt like something had happened... Something other than her mother... Maybe something about what Gerald had said. Maybe, it wasn't just about her coronation. She pursed her lips and kept working after a moment she tossed the water in her cup at him. She grinned, "Oops."
HAHA, that is pretty good reasoning to assume male.
Gale tossed his head, whinnying. He seemed rather excited. So excited that he pushed his head against her hard enough to knock her off the fence. She laughed a moment after she landed on the dusty ground, "Gale!" she complained, grinning.

She got back to her feet feeling a little sore, "That wasn't very nice," She said to the horse before grabbing his halter and leading him to the gate. She walked him into the barn and was met by Benjamin, "Shall I brush down your horse for you, your highness?" he asked.

She shook her head, "No thank you, I would actually like to give him a brush, as a treat.... Speaking of treats.. Can you grab me a couple carrots?" She asked as she clipped her horse in place. She grabbed the first brush and began to get at the dust and dirt that had piled up under the skin. Her back ached slightly and she couldn't help but think it was going to bruise... but if she complained about it, she was worried that Samsul was going to bring her back to the castle...
Anastasia nodded her head, relieved that they could go to the stables. It seemed to be the only escape from her mother's memory, that in the walls for the castle. She started walking toward the barn with Samsul. When they were part way there she looked at him, "Race you?"

She gave him a soft smile before lifting her skirts and running off to the barn. It wasn't a surprise that Samsul race passed her soon before they reached the barn. She laughed and hopped onto the fence, she had almost forgotten about her mother. And maybe... For a little bit... That would be for the best. Gale looked up and saw her before he came racing over to them. She grinned and pet him as he practically placed his head in her lap. She smiled at him, "Want a good rub down, Gale?"
