Despite her smile he didn't back. " you were out for about 3 hours." He said turned to grab the water he had ready for her and handed it to her. " you think you can drink or do you need me to help?"
-
Nyima shook her head and took the water with her good arm, not wanting to disturb her shoulder, "I can do it..."

She rose the glass to her lips and sipped at it, "I'm sorry... But... You would have killed him," She stared at the water in her glass and shook her head, "I couldn't let you do that...
-
He growled. " you could have warned me before I made my way over to him. Or told me when there was a lull In the battle. That was stupid and reckless of you. You could of died" he sighed and said " I'm the only one allowed to be reckless. You're the one supposed to take care of me if I get hurt."
-
Nyima looked at him, "You didn't give me a chance!" she sighed, "And I was scared... I was worried if he heard me.... Then he'd know... And if I waited... That you would hurt him."

She looked at him when the last of his sentence clicked in her brain. She smirked a little at him, "Well, I'm sure I'm a heck of a lot easier to carry."

Zenji continued to hold her staff out in front of her, watching the boy. Luckily, it seemed that the Rogue Benders had all run off or been dealt with. If he made a move, she could jump off the roof and continue her run. She looked him up and down, "You don't exactly fit in either."
-
Masuto smiled sheepishly at the woman in front of her and scratched the back of his head. He didn't have to look at his clothes to know that she was talking about them, and with a nervous laugh, he explained their purpose. "Master Hiro makes it a rule that we need to wear traditional clothing when taking his lessons..."
-
Zenji didn't look away from him. She just hoped that no one managed to fly up the wall behind her. She pursed her lips, "Master Hiro... lessons... You're a firebender."

She sized him up, "Why should I come with you... You could be a Rogue Bender..."
-
Masuto should have seen the question coming. He just walked up to her and told her to follow her. That would warrant questions from anybody, especially airbenders. He nodded when she figured out that he was a firebender, and thought of what to tell her to convince her that he was trying to help her. ".. Because where else can you go?" He asked honestly. "I've heard the reports every morning ever since the purge started. It's obvious that Rogue Benders aren't just in Republic City. They're everywhere. As much as I hate to say it, there aren't many places to hide from such a large group.."
-
Zenji's eyes lowered slightly when he asked her where else could she go. The temples were the most dangerous places for Airbenders to go, now that everyone could access them. She knew of a few hidden places that friends and their families had gone to... but she wasn't even sure if they were safe there. She had a bison but where was it that she could take her? She was a give away of what she was. She looked back at the Firebender and sighed, "With people I trust..."

Zelia looked at Marcus when he entered the kitchen and gave him a soft smile. When he explained what Trex had told him and made his own assumption, she blushed slightly. She nodded, "Hard not to be... When you are always on the road together. The old man... he didn't like Trex... He wouldn't have sold them to him... I had to... um... be rather presistant to get them... But I didn't have anywhere to put them... And I knew that... You guys had this farm... I didn't know if you would take care of them if they were mine... So I gave them to Trex so that they could be treated properly... and... stuff..."

She let out a small sigh when Marcus turned to his wife and kissed her. They were sweet together, truly in love. She hadn't gotten the chance to see much of that when she was younger... With her dad leaving and all. It was nice to know that people could still love each other. She turned back to the food to give them as much privacy as she could while still being in the room.
When he left, Kyla walked over to her and helped with the vegetables while they waited for the meat. It wasn't long until the two of them were placing the food on serving plates. Kyla patted Zelia's shoulder, "Go grab the men and sit down. You must be tired."
She nodded, she was, she wasn't going to say anything but she couldn't wait to sit down again. She walked into the living room, "Dinner's ready," She said softly. It was strange, how quickly Trex's family accepted her presence in their house. She had barely even spoken to Sanders. She made a mental note to do so during dinner.

Kyla walked passed her placed the food on the table and pulled a seat back for Zelia, "Come on, child. Sit down."

She laughed a little and nodded before she took a seat the table. Kyla took a seat across from her, leaving her husband to sit by herself and her sons to sit on either side of Zelia... That would hopefully stop any bickering between the two of them.
Elliot looked at him as he said that it was up to her what happened. She bit her lip a little, she didn't get the feeling, she had expected. However, she was curious if that feeling in her stomach was something. It was something she had ever felt before. Her curiosity over powered her and she moved to her knees again. She placed her hands on his neck and leaned in to kiss him again.

Elliot didn't like being on the field but she went with Jacob as he had requested. It had been a good plan, a lot of people had gotten injured. Fewer would make it back had she not been there. She heard Jacob calling to Kyle as she tried to tie up a bandage on a bleeding arm. She shook her head as she heard Jacob mention the injured, "Sorry, I only have two hands!"

It didn't help any that they were shaking. She could hardly tie the knot on the bandage. Dropping them in frustrastion, she turned to Jacob and grabbed the front of his shirt and kissed him. She'd be lying if she said she hadn't thought about doing that before. But she had reasoning, if anyone needed, or if Jacob didn't exactly share her feelings. She needed to calm down, to relax. Taking that moment to pretend like they all weren't going to die helped. She turned back around as though nothing happened and tied the bandage with steady hands before she moved onto the man's leg.
Elliot watched as Jacob lowered back to the floor. She was propped up on her elbows, staring at him. She pursed her lips, "You aren't wearing a wedding ring..., So we weren't married...we were dating."

No memories were coming back to here. She couldn't fill any holes... There were no holes to fill... nothing was there. She remembered some things, how to walk, read, write, talk. But anything personal, how she learnt how to do those things were gone. She could remember how people showed affection for each other. How they kissed or hugged but she could not remember what that felt like or the emotion that drove the action. She sat up properly and looked at him, "When did we fall in love? Did we kiss lots? Do you want to again?"
Elliot frowned as there wasn't much to be done or at least much to be challenging. It seemed like she'd be hanging around until they got some new ones in, which meant that Hector would probably doing the same. Wonderful. She stuffed her hands into her pocket and was about to move away when Lach came over to the broad and joined her. She nodded to him, answering his question, "I did. Pretty good reward too... But you know me, can't stand sitting still," She shrugged, "I tried to get back early enough to grab myself another job but seems that I came to late."

She glanced over to Hector and laughed, shaking her head, "Ha! He wishes. No, met him on a job sometime ago... Left on... not to pleasant terms," she might have elaborated more if Elizabeth hadn't shown up and asked them questions in rapid fire. She opened her mouth, "I'm go-" She stopped as the girl turned to Lach and repeated her question, directed to him alone, "Aaaand you don't care..."

She gave Lach a small wave and removed herself from the group. She had little to no interest in standing there as Elizabeth, clearly, fawned all over Lach and stroked his ego. Not exactly her scene. She sighed a little and walked over to an empty table. She took a seat and relaxed, it seemed she have to do so until a least tomorrow. Unless a job fell out of the sky and into her lap. Although, she highly doubted that was going to happen... Too bad though, that sounded like it might be interesting. She looked over at Hector and narrowed her eyes slightly, what was really up with that guy?...
Savannah looked at him as he pulled out his pistol. She shook her head, she hardly had a chance to move before Kyle ran in and repeated what Jacob said. She looked at Kyle and yelled, "I heard him!"

She threw her gun to the ground, not caring and looked at Jacob, "If you cared for my sister at all... you'd have shot her. But good to know you're protecting the android... I thought those were the ones we were trying to kill," She turned away and walked passed Kyle. She looked at him, "All your little fantasies about her coming back... They're going to get you all killed."

She left the room and shortly after, the building. Seemed like it was time to live on her own again.

Elliot looked up at Jacob, "She was my sister?" She didn't care that she had just gotten kicked out or that she was probably now facing death because of it. She had no connection to her, she just didn't seem like how she would imagine a sister. She kept looking up at Jacob, "Did you feel warm?" She asked quietly, addressing the kiss.
Anastasia was glad to know that Samsul was aware that she wouldn't do that to anyone. After a kiss, he even assured her that she was too kind, which was good for her as Queen. She smiled at him happily and nodded, "You care for them as well," She said giving him a kiss, "It might have taken a bit to work a soft spot in your heart for the commonfolk," She teased, "But you are a great leader... Of your people and one day soon, our country."

She grinned and kissed his nose before resting her head against his shoulder, "Why can this moment not last forever?"
Elliot adjusted herself slightly into a sitting position she found more comfortable. She blinked a few times, "I loved you?" She didn't remember anything of love and other than when they wanted her too, she rather felt warmth. She hadn't expected herself to have found love and just forgotten about it. What was love? What did people in love do? An image flashed across her mind and she moved her knees. She looked at him before leaning in slowly and pressing her lips against his. There was a feeling, in her gut, but nothing more, no warmth.

She felt something in her hair before she was thrown back. The woman from before stood over her. She looked angry, she wondered if she wasn't supposed to do that. It clearly angered the woman enough to throw her back by her hair. Savannah rose her gun and pointed it at Elliot as she spoke to Jacob, "You can't let her do that Jacob. They sent her after you. And we don't know what is going through her head... She could still be trying to kill you. You can't let your guard down like that."
Nyima was taken back when Rayn stumbled and hit the ground in front of her before spitting out blood. It had been sometime since she had seen someone land a hit on Rayn so quickly, then again, she knew her brother to be quite the skilled fighter. He, of course, never taught her. She pondered running off again butif she did... She watched as they both removed their weapons and continued their battle, one of them was sure to die. Zhou only saw a man trying to hurt a girl and Rayn saw someone standing up for an airbender. The fate of which was death. She watched as Rayn gained ground on her brother and soon enough, she could not watch anymore.

Rayn was not prepared for an attack from the side and she ran at him as he swung. Pushing a few pressure points, she managed to use his momentum to push him away from Zhou. She did not manage to escape unscathed as Zhou's blade that he swung to block came down on her shoulder. She bit down to avoid yelling out and the possibility of her brother recognizing her as she continued to push Rayn, causing the blade to open her shoulder slightly. She looked up at him and pleaded with her eyes for him to just leave. When they were entering the surprised crowd, she grabbed Rayn's hand and ran. Adrenaline pumped through her system, easing the pain in her shoulder, as she prayed that her brother went to find the airbender rather than following them. Pulling Rayn into an alley, some ways away, she glanced back to see if her behemoth of a brother was following. When she noticed he wasn't, she ripped away her scarf and let out a small cry of pain as she gripped her bleeding shoulder. She looked at Rayn and felt tears in her eyes, she wasn't sure if they were from the pain or from seeing her brother and having to run away. Nyima looked away, "Sorry....... I couldn't.... That... was Zhou....."

Zenji winced slightly when the man landed a hit on the Rogue Bender, who fell back. She was only slightly happy. She wasn't one for violence but she was glad that he seemed to be winning. That however, did not last. She tensed slightly when the second man started to gain on the first. She balled her hand into a fist... Maybe, she could knock him over, give him some time. She didn't even get the chance to move slightly before the second Rogue Bender ran into the first and pushed him away, not without getting caught under the blade. They ran off in the opposite direction of her, which was confusing. She slowly started to stand was she heard a noise behind her. She grabbed her glider off her back and turned around, holding it out defensively. She looked at a boy in traditional fire nation wear with wide eyes. Her heart still pounded in her chest from the chase. What was this boy doing here?... He didn't look like a Rogue Bender nor was he covering his face like most. Her hands tightened on the staff, "What are you doing here?"
