Avatar: Return of the Air Benders

Haha, thanks, it helps having been in contact with him, but some how I completely missed that Experiment has already posted here.... So, they are interested and are making up a cs. Of course, that was three hours ago, so I can only assume that they gone to bed or have previous engagements. All the same, we are just waiting on the cs. Meaning, if Experiments cs is up soon, we'll probably be starting sooner than my estimate and if not.... Well, Pryo might start hating my ability to contact him :P

Zelia looked at him, she didn't want to tell him about the dreams. Most of them weren't anything special but what if she let something slip about the last. She nodded and moved to the table he motioned to. When he finished, she nodded her head, "Here I was worried about you fighting them and you've already threatened to kill them."

She smiled slightly and him then sighed, "My turn then," she spoke slowly through the dreams. Most of them were crisp in her mind, maybe because she had been lucid but parts were fuzzy. She walked them through it, when she first started to notice the spirit. The spirit trying to distract her with her father, then with making her think she was awake and with the clouds. She stopped there and shrugged, "Then I woke up."

She wasn't going anywhere near that last dream. If she started to talk about it, he might as question and she might be backed up against a wall that she didn't want to be against. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, "It seemed to me that the spirits job was entirely to keep me asleep. She didn't torment me with nightmares... She tried to make it all as comfortable as possible... but I got nosy instead of letting her continue the dreams."

She looked at Trex, "How could that do them any good at all?"

Narsica looked at him then smiled softly, "I wasn't talking about Tye."

She listened to him as he spoke but kept her book closed and resting in her hands against her lap, "She knows, I'm sure. You don't exactly show her much kindness to make her think otherwise. Tye is a stepping stool for me. Whether she is wobbly or not, she gets me where I need to be and I'm going to do just that. I don't plan on never joining a guild."

She looked up at Ryzo. Normally, she wouldn't talk this much to him. She had no interest in him or his goings on but something did spark her curiosity, "Why did you lie to them? Surely you didn't think they'd believe it. The girl... She called it without much thought. I would think you would have wanted to preserve that relationship. But you may have just stepped on it... all because the viper was near?"

Flynn looked out his window as he drove passed Amber. He called to her, "I'll meet you there!"

He rode into the city at a leisurely pace. He still had plenty of time before twelve and plenty of space between him and anyone behind him. Calmly, he parked the car and walked up to the door of the curator's. He knocked on it politely. When it opened he smiled and held out the damp rock, "Just returning this."

Zelia looked at Skye and smiled softly, "I don't... I believe everything that I said," she swallowed, "Me waking up was the problem... Not the girl putting me to sleep."

She glanced at Trex when he offered to force answers out of them. She shook her head but Chris beat her to the reasoning. She nodded, "Besides, you promised. No fighting."

She nodded her head when Trex quickly steered the conversation to getting something for Flynn to eat when he got back. She snickered and started to walk down the street, "Yes, I'm sure he'll be famished sitting in that car the whole way."

She looked over her shoulder at them, "Amber, on the other hand. Let's go grab them something."

Zelia continued down the street, looking at the buildings and inspecting the restaurants trying to figure out want to get them. She sighed internally thinking about what had happened while she looked around. She couldn't believe it in a way, that he'd blatantly lie to her, even if it was just to save face. She wondered what would have happened if she had confronted him, just the two of them. Would she have gotten a proper explanation then or would he still have lied to her. She just could understand how that man was the same who gave her the drawing by the water, "This one looks good. I think Flynn will like it."

Narsica looked at Tye while she laughed, acting as if she weren't being ordered around by Ryzo. As much as Tye was tough, it was easy to see who wore the pants and in the end co-leaders tended to fall apart. Why would the blonde think that it was Ryzo who had done it all and not Tye. Because as much as she pretended she was in charge, she wasn't. Narsica looked up at the tall man, "My... She's gotten awfully cold toward you. Quarreling lovers... It is always a shame to see."

Flynn nearly laughed when he reached the beach. He jumped out of the car and dipped his rock into the water as was asked. He stuck it back into his pocket and ran back to the car. He looked down the road to see people coming in the distance. It seemed very few had brought money with them to rent a car and had to end up doing it on foot. After all, they wouldn't be able to ask their friends or teammates for help. Good news for him, he supposed. However, he still felt bad that they had to run all that way. He climbed back into the car and turned around. He had a big grin on his face as he headed back toward the town.

It is a fun one. Right now, Pyro isn't on, I believe he is asleep. We are currently waiting of Aerandir's post of his characters and to see in Experiment is still interested. If they are once we have both of their cses will probably start. I know that Pyro wants Team Avatar basically set up and ready to go. Although, he'll probably start if we don't have everyone. All the same, he wants to make this as fun as possible and the more the merrier. I would say about two days, tops. Especially with us having started this before everything was wiped, we have returning players Aerandir, Pyro and myself, and some (ME) are really excited to start it again. So some (ME) will probably be bugging Pyro to start as soon as possible c:

Zelia said nothing as they spoke. She kept her face blank and un-telling. The only action she really to was moving to block Skye from her sister slightly, siblings or not, Zelia didn't like Tye and she could feel that Skye wasn't comfortable around her either. Zelia looked at Ryzo as he calmed explained what had happened. Despite all of his talking with his subtle, and not so subtle, threats, she didn't believe half of it. However, she kept her face calm. When he finished, looking at her promising it wouldn't happen again, she crossed her arms. She spoke, her voice like ice, as she held his eyes, "I have a hard time believing that anyone of those in your ranks would dare go against an order with you being as ruthless as you say you are."

She shook her head and a smiled slightly, "I think the only disorder in your ranks, was that I woke up."

She grabbed Trex's arm, knowing he would be the hardest to get to move away, "Let's go. They clearly are to barbarous to tell the truth."

Holding Trex's arm she pulled him away from the Caelum wizards. She wanted to scream and shout, she wanted to get as angry as she was. However, what good that do her, do any of them. It would just make her appear pathetic. She looked over her shoulder and Ryzo before shaking her head and watching where she was going. She dropped Trex's arm and sighed. She looked up at the sky and just stood there, "That was stupid of me... To think that we'd actually get an answer," she looked at Skye, "I'm sorry for making you do that... I shouldn't have. I should have just known that they wouldn't tell us why they did it... I'm sorry."

Zelia still held onto Trex's arm as she looked at Chris. She nodded her head, "There is a fair chance. Even if some people turn back and grab a car now, they have to use up the time of back tracking on themselves. This way he won't even use up any energy," she looked toward the door of the building, "It has to be only the beginning of the race... How willing and strong they are without the use of magic... Some people use it as a crutch... and it warps them as people..."

She looked between the two men as Trex brought up continuing what they had started the day before. Had they found the Caelum wizards the day before? She hadn't gotten to ask too many question before she fell asleep yesterday and Trex ran out this morning. When he looked at her giving her the option of figuring out why Ryzo had done it, she remembered she was still holding his arm and quickly dropped it. She thought about it and reassured her that it was her choice. She stole a glance at Ryzo while they stood there. She was curious, she had been since she had woken up. She was even slightly curious during her dream why she had been targeted. Why was it here of all of them that was put to sleep if they weren't going to act on it at all. She looked at Skye, she knew how the girl felt about her old comrades. She always seemed to freeze up. Sadly, her curiosity overwhelmed that and for that she was slightly ashamed. She looked up at Trex and nodded, "I would like to know... But no fighting. If anything starts, we walk away. I don't want this to effect Flynn's chances in any way. Promise?"

Zelia pouted at Trex, "But Trex, it would be so adorable," it was clear that he was dead set against, as expected. Zelia looked at Flynn, "One day."

Flynn looked at Amber when she started to talk about cute spirits. He nodded, "I'll have to show you Pea someday."

When the man came out, a hush fell over the crowd. The man had everyone's undivided attention. Flynn looked at Amber once more when she wished him luck, "You too."

He stepped forward and accepted his rock from the man. He looked at it a little, then put it into his coat pocket, zipping it up to avoid losing it. He glanced over his shoulder at his group. No magic or help. He nodded at them and the moment the man told them to be back for noon. The race began. Flynn sprinted. After the hike to get Florin, Flynn felt as if he could run anywhere. He clipped his backpack in front of him to avoid it bouncing and getting annoying. Now, he didn't plan on running the full way but it sure helped him get to the car rentals faster. He knew this place rented out no magical cars as well as the magical cars after he had rented the car yesterday. He didn't know if anyone else knew but he made sure to be as quick as possible, just to be safe. He pulled out in the car and made sure to do the speed limit. Last thing he needed at this moment was to get arrested and lose all of his keys. All the same, he was going faster than anyone on foot. Once outside of the town he picked up his speed a little as he was cruising toward the beach.

Zelia watched as Flynn ran off. He seemed to be running in a different direction than everyone else. She watched him till she lost sight of him. Soon after a car drove passed with a very determined driver. Zelia laughed and grabbed Trex's arm, "He got a car. Brilliant!" she looked at the other contestants, it didn't look like any of them had thought of that. If they did now, they had some catching up to do.

Ceba was trying to stifle his laughter as he stood next to Glaysten. He looked at Hoshi, "You stayed the night and kept Noko company."

Noko looked at him and glared, "You know full well what he meant. It was late when he got here. He was practically falling asleep before he left and I wasn't going to let him go home."

Ceba shook his head, "You fell asleep, Hoshi.. man, you aren't very good... company."

Noko buried her face in her hands and Glaysten turned to Ceba. He glared him, "Out, Ceba."

The taller man nodded, "Fine. But I'm going to go tell his buddies. This is a hoot and a half."

Noko sighed and looked at Hoshi. She mouthed 'sorry' to him before Glay turned his attention back to them. He nodded his head, "The two of you are..."

"Playing cards... He is making sure I rest my side well. But he is also making sure I don't die of boredom," Noko said blandly. Glaysten laughed and nodded.
