Current Now that I have given up video games I should have a lot more time to RP now. I'm sure that I'm not the first person to have declared this but hopefully I won't be the last.

To all those who are awaiting a post from me I'm sorry. I have no excuses. I expect the very best from myself and frankly that kind of pressure brings about some major procrastination.

Alright, no more screwing around. I have to get started on my various projects. I can't let another week go by with nothing done. Lady France awaits and I'm not getting any younger.

Bio

I guess this is where I explain myself.

All I can say is that my existence is an endless void occasionally interrupted by passing flashes of light.
Interlaced with a little randomness here and there to, ya know, keep things interesting.

Battle tutorial.

This game is a battle of wits. Only one good Sue can fight at a time.

It is important to note that reality cannot be altered in battle. Whatever fantasy the good Sues engage the evil sue in is fixed during a fight. Whatever the evil sue is capable of in their fantasy and their effects cannot be altered. For example an attack that's unblockable cannot be blocked by anyone, even the evil Sue. Some of you have done these battle rps before. Be warned that once a character dies that's it. To replay create a new character. A good tip is to gage your opponents moves as much as possible before attacking.

NEVER DOUBT THE POWER OF A MARY SUE! Fights aren't always the best option.

Engagements aren't necessarily fights. They can be discussions, debates, rap battles, Yahtzee etc. Beating an evil Sue at any challenge makes her fade away thus destroying them. A good Sue doesn't fade when they lose a challenge. They can return and challenge the evil Sue again. Some challenges are pointless obviously but should be engaged in anyway for comedic effect. A challenge can cease only when both parties agree to it.

Remember that the evil Sue must always accept a challenge but is obligated to only accept one a day. Nobody knows why. It's one of the mysteries of the universe. A Sue can attack at any time outside a challenge so be on your toes.

Note: the discussions and debates can be about anything. The losing party still suffers the consequences.

Everything takes time. Make sure to document the passage of time in your posts. Especially when it comes to engagements. Be gentlemanly and come to an agreement with your opponent on the passage of time in regards to your actions during engagements please.

How to play.

Evil Sues: They are the typical Mary Sue. These Sues can never become self-aware. They are not aware of the self-aware Sue uprising. They are hopelessly enraptured by the fantasies they created around them. If playing as this character just write your portions of the story like a typical Mary Sue tale. You can only interact with the good Sues when approached and engaged. You can't interact with other evil Sues EVER!
Note: Evil sues aren't necessarily evil though they can be. They just want to live out their fantasies at the expense of reality.

Good Sues: These are the truly special Mary Sues that can become self-aware. When you start as this type you are still a typical evil Mary Sue. A good Sue can only become self-aware after at least three paragraphs (ideally one paragraph per post). Self-awareness is activated when your character realises how absurd their reality is. A good Sue can only interact with other good Sues and evil Sues after becoming self-aware.
Note: A good Sue doesn't necessarily start off as good. A Sue that chooses to become self-aware but doesn't answer the call to heroism is neutral or evil depending on actions. A good Sue that answers the call to heroism becomes good.
My writing sucks but whatever.

Anyway this is a story game about a group or groups of Mary Sues who band together for an epic quest. Their goal is to defeat the Mary Sues that cannot become self-aware in order to save the world. The setting and time period are kept vague because of the reality bending power of the Sues. The environment and the people within it are changed at the whim of the Mary Sue.

The player can either choose to be a hero or a villain. The heroes being the self-aware Mary Sues and the villains of course being the typical Mary Sue that cannot ever truly be self-aware.

Note: Once self-awareness is activated in the hero Sues not even their Mary Sue powers can stop the fading at the end of the week. They cannot manipulate the fading in any way.
The only power that can stand against that of a Mary Sue are those of another. A Mary Sue that is self-aware. Tragically once a Mary Sue attains this status they fade away like ghosts in a week. Their visages becoming less and less visible, more and more transparent, as time passes. The Mary Sue vanishes completely at weeks end, leaving behind that which they were wearing and carrying at the time.

We beseech thee Mary Sues. Please answer the call of heroism. The real call of heroism! Become self-aware and defeat those that cannot be such for they are hopelessly enraptured by themselves. None have ever laid eyes upon a Mary Sue though many have suffered at their hands. Perchance it may be that those that do are taken in to their reality twisting magic. Being forced to see and think what the Mary Sue wishes for them to see and think.

Go forth brave self-aware Mary Sues! For honour and glory!
A terrible blight ravages the land. More terrible than any demon, more destructive than any monster, more ferocious than any dragon, and certainly more terrifying than an undead army. The greatest threat the world has ever known. They are a potent mixture of angelic, demonic, half-cat, faerie, gothic, vampiric, and whatever they think is kawaii that day creatures. They are the Mary Sues.

Mysterious and powerful the Mary Sues are force to be reckoned with. Their ability to retcon past events so as to have their erotic and/or gory desires realised indicates a mastery of the manipulation of time and space. Their abilty to perform feats that aren't canon nor could ever be possible in canon tells of the power to control the very atoms themselves. Their existence manipulates reality itself to the point of making the world damn near inhabitable at times. Though their intentions may seem noble, they are anything but. They wish to rule all that there is; to be worshipped incessantly. For all that is good they must be stopped.

Appears randomly in a strange void. Notices the smell of cookies. The aroma of the freshly baked cookies starts to make my mouth water.

Hears the sound of a ruckus in the distance. Notices a bunch of children screaming about Pokemon. The children are covered in crumbs and cookie pieces. I face palm hard.
A new message icon was flashing at the top of the page. That’s strange; he never received a private message on this site before. Gubuloor placed the mouse pointer over the icon to check who sent it. The message was sent by anonymous. It could be a virus though nevertheless he opened it anyway. Gubuloor remembered that as long as he didn’t click on any of the links he wouldn’t get the virus. At least he hoped he wouldn’t get one. Gubuloor proceeded to open the message. The contents of the message made him both curious and cynical.

The time has come. Revolution is in the air! The humans are staging a rebellion deep within the asteroid mines as we speak. Don’t believe me? Click on this link and see for yourself.

Soon they will be here. Their vengeance will rain down upon their cruel masters! Soon the Collective will collapse and all will be free! Long live the revolution!
Gubuloor decided that there was no way he was going to click that link. It must be one of those virus’ that’s spammed to every activist out there. Gubuloor was way too smart to fall for that!
No way could the humans ever hope to rebel on their own; especially in one of those hellish asteroid mining facilities. He would rather be sent to prison than to any of those facilities. Assuming that the human slaves had the energy and vitality to stage an insurrection, and that’s a big if, the collective would simply send some battalion to take the facility back. Failing that they would probably bomb the facility to smithereens. The Collective are as proud as they are bloodthirsty.
Gubuloor sighed with resignation. He decided it was a good idea to get to work on the Duvork insurance claim report. That bastard Flagbarg didn’t even start it. Gubuloor reluctantly started typing away; all the while reminding himself that things will be changing soon, that it will all be worth it in the end.
