Talbot was pleased to see that woman happy and upbeat, seemed to like that song that he sung. It was a happy song, after all. He imagined a large black bear carrying a maiden off into the horizon. Even that vision was comical. Then, that woman spoke, saying that she rather listen. Oh well, she wouldn't pressure her into singing. Singing was supposed to be fun, not something yhat was forced. His dark eyes watched her closely, a grin spreading across his face. He was a very happy fellow, oh yes. The sorcerer made sure to try to be happy so everyone else could be happy. So this woman's name is Vellia. Pretty. Then again, most women's names are. Unless they're called Olga or Gertrude. Those sound too rough for my taste.
"Pleased to meet you, Vellia! My name's Talbot. You can call me Tal, if you don't feel like actually saying my whole name." he chuckled, looking back at the fire. The heat was almost too much for him. Yet, their meal would be cooked in those fires. His stomach grumbled and he rummaged around in his satchel where he kept his tomes and other things. He pulled out some dates, the ones that Ambra dropped when she was jumped by Zaino. "I like to sing a lot," he told her. "But I dislike dancing. I think that's a bit too much for me. Some say that I should have become a bard, instead of a sorcerer. I don't think I can do much by strumming my lute on the battlefield. However, I can sing a pretty mean battle song if I get into the heat of the fight." he grinned broadly.
His eyes flicked upwards, into the fire and then at everyone else. That wyvern Lord was more drunk than ever, and she was intoxicating a poor knight in the corner. The Shepherd Bandit seemed to have his wounds fixed all over again, and that little Red went to hunt. He yawned, setting his lute in his lap and stretching, falling backwards and putting his hands behind his head. "Man in the moon stands and strides~" he sang happily once more.
