"i suppose you know how demonic pacts work" it says evenly as it gets a bit closer to her before whispering "it requires a sacrifice of blood"

"Well, what's the price for your knowledge...." She asks, as she holds the demon gently.

"unlike most other creatures in this accursed place i hunger not for flesh but for dreams, nightmares and good dreams. makes no difference. do you understand?" it asks, letting her put two and two together as it contemplates the demon, on the fence as to whether or not to devour it

"My power will come...the demon is simply a tool...a....plan b." She says. It seems like it has potential to grow, but right now, a rabbit could kill it.

"seems like a long winded plan b... or, conversely, you could let me teach" it says evenly, intending to teach her if she meets it's price, it's voice never actually betraying it's gender despite being deep

Soon, the smoke clears, and a small, fetus like creature is all that remains. Violet gently picks the creature up, and holds it close to her, She takes a bit of rabbit meat, and feeds the creature. It sucks on the meat, for a moment, before swallowing it whole.
"When my little friend here is ready....those creatures will fear like they have never feared before.

"maybe but what then?" it asks evenly, reading the child to gauge it's power and threat. "what will you do to gain power? this venture you're on is intended for you to gain power, not use your summoned minions to do everything for you" it adds evenly, remaining perfectly still and staring at her despite the intelligent convorsation

"I know..but one day, they will be but roaches under my heel. All, will be under my heel." she says, as she strews the guts of the rabbit about in an odd manner. It looks like it should form a shape, but it doesn't. She then starts to chant in an odd way, before the guts start to smoke.

"but not now, which is where i'd suggest my assistance" it says evenly, watching the ritual continue as if unconcerned by it

He sees a good deal of pain, hate, and misery all balled up and waiting to explode.
"My flesh tastes like shit, and I doubt it will taste better when I am dead." She replies, out loud.

"i do not hunger for your flesh like others you shall encounter nearby... however, as of current you would be no match for them" it says evenly, staring into her eyes unblinkingly, seeming to read her soul like an open book but not moving to attack and in fact carrying a conversation with her instead

"Ahh, must be magic." She thinks, as she guts the rabbit, saving everything. All the organs are laid out on the pelt, as she cooks the meat on the fire, by putting a large rock on the side of the fire, letting it warm, and then frying the rabbit meat.

the crow silently snatches the heart while she's not looking and devours it noisily before going back to watching her as it's eyes seem to pierce her, looking into her soul and seeing everything about her before a deep, scratchy voice whispers into her mind "you shall do nicely"

She crosses the river, and pulls out her dagger, cutting the rabbit's throat.
"Thanks for the meal fool." She snickers, as she takes her kill back to camp.

it dies quickly as the crow watches before following her back to camp and observing her. oddly the fire hasn't gone out disspite her never putting fuel on it

She summons a fireball, and attempts to hit the rabbits, aiming for the closer one, rather than take the chance of missing if she aims for both.

she hits it as it attempts to run. it lets out a shrill cry and trys to crawl away using only it's front legs, the hind ones injured by the fireball as the other rabbit leaves it for dead.
the bird keeps watching her silently and still-ly not moving at all while she's looking at it

Guessing such a thing may happen, she looks at the bird, and attempts to get close, without looking like she is directly going for it.

it seems to switch trees when she looks away, remaining at a certain distance from her, merely watching her.
a couple of rabbits soon show up on the other side of the river and attempt to drink from it
