He finds a rather large man, in fancy looking robes. His face, a scowl. His brow furrowed.
"I'm sorry, is delta in?" He asks, his voice betraying no anger, unlike his face.

"i'm afraid she's indisposed at the moment, her training has left her drained so she's resting" the man replies evenly, his voice calm and unreadable as this man wouldn't notice the small tone shifts that delta had come and his face is hidden behind a mask, further denying the man any way to read his emotions

She blinks a few times.
"Yikes..." She says, as she sits up. "Sorry..I didn't know...." She starts. Soon, a knocking can be heard at the door.

"just rest a bit, maybe get a bath" he says, letting her effectively have a bit of down time as he walks to the door and checks who it is

She lets out a bit of a groan."...that....sorta...was....awesome...." she groans, smiling.

"maybe, but when i tell you to stop you stop" he says evenly, concern noticable in his voice by her as he adds "too much too fast and you'll slip into a coma that i have yet to hear of anyone waking from"

She keeps trying to push it.
"No...I...can keep...going.." She growls, as she tries to force herself farther. "I can.....beat...this..." She roars, and the stones shoot up before falling down like rain. "...Ok...I...am..done....." She says, before passing out.

the man sighs before picking her up and taking her to her room and depositing her on her bed

She tries, biting her lip. The stones clatter, as they attempt to rise, but seem to refuse.
"I..will..not..let you..control me...." She growls. As if that had hardened her resolve, the stones begin to float.

the man waits for the stone to get about a foot up before laying a hand on her shoulder and saying "ok, you can take a break for a bit" as delta feels herself drenched in sweat, the exercise obviously much greater than anything she'd done previously

She opens her eyes, and she tries to keep it in her mind.
".....I..don't....like that...thing..." She says, her concentration breaking again. This makes a few of the rocks turn to sand once again.

"i know, it's unpleasant, but just try to learn to be ok with it... anyway, you seem to have some control over earth so try lifting a stone using your mind. you have to be focusing on your energy so if you have to add movement then go ahead" he says evenly, the charge leaving the air and causing the stones to fall as he turns to watch her progress

Delta starts to do so. As she does, the sand below them, and the clothing on her back slowly turns to stone.
"......that thing....it isn't...me...is it?" she asks, losing some concentration.

"it's a reflection of you, your power takes a form most suited to your will. in a way it could be argued that what you're seeing is an extension of your will or a part of you, but it's also your power. now, open your eyes but keep your mind cleared. try to keep what you're seeing in your vision and nothing else" he says evenly as stones begin to lift in front of her due to the magnetic charge that was building

"it's merely a representation of you. it's also what replaced your curse and is why i keep saying the scales are yours now, not the result of some gorgon's curse" he says evenly, the charge building again as he adds "try focusing on her and see what happens"
