"as expected" she replies evenly, having obviously assumed to be given a watered down version which in turn showed that three million pages was the watered down version of sergal tactics. she writes up a simple exam within a good half hour, reading through the texts at an incredible rate before handing the papers off with quills, each test different so as to prevent cheating
@supertinyking

"that comes after. the written test comes before the tactical one in order to give the men rest and to that purpose i'm not going to give all of them a three million page text on sergal military tactics to read." she replies evenly, obviously not budging on the matter as her men had by now set up a camp due to how long the tests were taking
@supertinyking

she makes them run three hundred laps before being satisfied if any of them were still concious before saying "and now the difficult part... the written test. you're foreign so i don't expect you to know our tactics, may i have a text on your's so i can format a test?" evenly IF any of the mages were still concious

"strength wise they're acceptable, control wise they're lacking. next is the endurance test" she replies evenly after retrieving and bending her blade back before sheathing it, picking one of them up, and chucking them as hard as she can at the wall, breaking the sound barrier in the process
@supertinyking

she draws her blade before planting it in the ground before her with a rather imposing 'thunk' before saying evenly "retrieve it" as she seems largely unimpressed with the sorry assortment before her

the captain looks them over with disdain before drawing her blade, it seeming to blur as the mechs come apart at incredible speeds, leaving the pilots alive and otherwise unharmed. "equipment is of no use if the wielder is lacking. bring your men out for a quality check. since you're foreign i'll cut you some slack and just let you bring out your best and brightest rather than all of them" she says tersly as she sheathes her blade on her back, crossing her arms with disdain at the governer's attempt to wow her with something shiny
@supertinyking

"we've come to collect block taxes and assess that military strength is up to standard" the captain replies tersly, obviously uncowed by his 'disarming' voice as she also seems rather annoyed, her accompanying foot men remaining at attention behind her even though there were only seven of them counting the captain. Rather than Vie for the child, a singular father steps up for the task, the decision having seemingly been reached amongst the block.

The immigrants tend to gravitate towards desk jobs, seeming to have been the people from farm villages that didn't like being a farmer all their lives though they do still continue with their daily military exercises amongst themselves in a block of the city that was lovingly dubbed the 'immigrant' block. The clone seems to cause some stir amongst them, however the base sergal does demand he be allowed to raise it like his own rather than see it raised amongst the clones.

After a few days, a small contingent of troops in blue armor led by one in red arrive at the front gate, their weapons either sheathed or otherwise not at the ready showing a lack of hostile intent for the time being
The clones are rather quickly mired in the new economics of the world, most large cities having already completed the electronic conversions with the small towns still being worked on. Traders that had once shipped fanciful trinkets and luxurious food stuffs now shipped biofuel canisters, generators, solar cells, and panels with word reaching the clones of a new power source being worked on in the capital though there taxes aren't quite paid via excess electricity as they'd signed on for taxes on EVERYTHING which meant that they were shipping 5% of all crops, biofuel, and energy produced to the nearest city which in turn had actually lead to quite the boom in trade there, causing alloys unique to sergals that had not been discovered by the empire as well as various immigrants that wished to live amongst the aliens (most of which being male) in order to find work that they felt was not available to them elsewhere to arrive quite commonly.

The dwarf is mostly ignored by the female staff, but one of the guys brings him some fruity smelling drink that turns out to be strong enough to rival the stereotypical dwarven booze if not trump it. the scientists get to work, making a quick battery which they'd somehow developed before a generator due to some sort of oversight along the line, before using the crank for a good ten minutes to try and give it a charge and then unhooking it to test it by adding it to the ship's power supply to power the lights. When they come on there's a small celebration before everyone moves on to other things.

After a good month of continuous success, after success, after success, the city is completely refurbished with working electricity using bio generators, the fuel of which coming from previously useless agricultural waste, and solar pannels, running water for even the poorest of house holds, and a simple transit system using electric motors powered at solar charging stations between blocks, removing the need for horses for transit within the city, further increasing production of pretty much everything while the gardening sector actually makes quite a few new discoveries but keeps them confidential.

During the month, the clone emporer's troops are shown their land and assisted in the construction of a basic town using mostly adobe and a unique cement recipe.
