kalus leads them into a briefing room where he elaborates on the agreement and accepts questions before bringing up a system map and pointing out a few border planets that were on the sergal-geo border where the clones would be stationed and cared for as a part of the sergal people rather than allies due to their current position in terms of might, kalus having explained why vassaledge under the sergals would be the better choice for current which would leave them their own people with their own customs but under the sergals, with shepard being expressly told that it would be a temporary state until they had the ability to stand on their own. After the debriefing, the clones are loaded onto transport vessels which is guarded by shepard's new toy and deposited at a forest planet with an area already cleared out for a city, supplies for a sergal style city already in the cargo holds of the various ship with equipment to dig out the subterranean sections and commence mining operations to begin composite vessel construction, the clones having been given everything needed to make themselves a sergal-style colony on the planet and since they were vassals of the sergals, it was highly encouraged to do so for efficiency's sake.

"firstly because our current systems make small scale energy production difficult and secondly because it won't stay as just a colony forever so the excess energy can be put into the new systems when they're built, but for now it's just useful for trade." she replies evenly, a large mass of frigates leaving for his worlds as they speak to do planet-wide scans of pretty much everything, the good twenty frigates and couple hundred dozen corvettes being fairly imposing to see heading into his system, though, from how the sergeant treated it, the force appeared to be incredibly small to her even though they could probably down matt's current recon fleet orbiting the planet with minimal damages or one loss depending on fire distribution.
@thewizardguy

"aside from one or two wall turrets to handle the local wild-life and the generators in each block, there should be nothing out of the ordinary that i know of" the sergeant replies evenly, the jamming fields coming down slowly, all of them downed after a good five to ten minutes, allowing him his energy scan though Odin can tell it's monitored to make sure it's JUST an energy scan and that any attempts to prevent it from being monitored would result in hostilities.

"are you content?" the sergeant asks evenly, matt's scans showing exactly what had been described, though the mass of energy seems to be incredible over kill since most of it was stored rather than actually used before being shipped elsewhere, most likely in trade to other allies or in preparations for projects unbeknownst to him or alternatively to the frigates that had been circling the planet for a while, eyeing up his drone ships while goods were conveyed. "once your energy scans are complete, your border systems shall recieve a similar treatment" the sergeant warns, her wording showing that saying 'no' was not an option.
@thewizardguy

"our weapons were excluded from the jamming and scrambling fields since, frankly, i agree with that statement but the areas your drones are trying to scan are residential areas and the jamming fields are being put up by the general populace rather than me in an attempt to maintain their personal privacy. i have little say in the matter" the sergeant replies evenly, the things lacking from the recon drones' scans supporting her claims while the drones recieve a small message [you're on foreign soil. our house, our rules.]

"come, i'll show you" kalus replies evenly before getting up and taking shepard around the base he'd found himself in and past an 'authorized personnel only' door to show a subterranean hanger with ships he'd find reminiscent to a clone empire destroyer, down sized for a much smaller crew with the sergal's far superior fire power and shielding technology to support it, an array of heavy duty fighters sporting energy cannons for a controlled EMP effect as well as laser cannons with armor piercing formations, making them incredibly formidable in terms of dog fighting, the designs on the inside appearing to be adaptations of clone-tech with melding of sergal tech to support it's short comings. "we built them from what little we could scavenge from the destroyed clone fleet in our home system. they've been tested and... frankly, are right frights to go up against in the simulations. from what we've gathered about the geo fleets, these ships will be able to take down most medium to small trading convoys with no problem. this is the first batch of the finished models. with enough money, you can get more to help fill out the fleet you lost" kalus replies evenly, taking him over to one of the fighters that had yet to be loaded into the frigate's fighter bays, having shepard sit in the pilot's seat which instantly fills him with nostalgia over his days spent in flight training, the control nearly the same as he remembered them to be to the point that any clone with the proper training could pick them up just as easily as any other ship from the clone's fleets.

"what do you think?" kalus asks evenly once he can finally get shepard out of the comfort of the chair so the fighter could be loaded into the bay
@supertinyking

"i'm afraid that, as with all things in trade, the ships will come at a cost. simply raid the geo's supply lines and sell the earnings to us, or other allies of your choosing and we'll hand over ten composite ships" kalus says evenly, the term 'composite ship' completely foreign to the commander

he finds the cookies to actually taste like lemonaide while the lemonaid tastes like cookies, sort of making his brain just shit itself and die in confusion, his theory proving correct as he can feel his mystical energy returning to him the more cookies he eats. "which is understandable, however, don't expect us to off free land. you'll be offered land of course, but... on a few conditions. are you familiar with the term; privateer?" kalus replies evenly, eating a burger with slightly blue meat, showing that they really did use mana as a preservative in everything though the ingredients in the cookies are questionable since, frankly, the only way the lable 'cookies' actually fit was because of how they looked.
@supertinyking

"if you still have people available to you... you could still be of use militarily" kalus says evenly, the sour looking sergal looking at him warrily and stating "no. no he cannot."

"high general halis, this matter falls under the jurisdiction of the economics division. not the military division. you have no say in the matter" kalus says evenly, derah laughing her ass off to the point she falls out of her chair, babbling "oooh! the queen's play thing grew some stones has he?! man they made a racket when they fell!" as she rolls around on the floor, quite thoroughly drunk. "come with me commander. there are a few things for me to show you" kalus says evenly, the high generals dispersing as kalus leads him out to a room that looks to be a cafeteria before typing away at a terminal and coming back with blue cookies with purple chips in them and a glass of opaque yellow liquid, setting them before him.
@supertinyking

"elaborate" the sour sergal orders evenly, her attitude incredibly heavily based in logic and distrust.

"hmmm... do you have any ships left?" kalus asks evenly, bringing up a small screen on the desk.
@supertinyking

"at least ya had the stones to tell us" one of the high general says with a smile, wielding a large kinetic hammer and swigging at a great keg of an unknown alcohol while she sits in a relaxed position at a table off to the side from the rest.

"what dera means, is that; we did know that the previous clone empire was up to no good, and in fact the parties responsible for making that plan were thrown off the nearest, tallest building after they were discovered, the fact that you attempted to cover up for them was admirable in some ways. of course, this will come at an increase in taxes for future trade deals" kalus replies evenly before getting smacked upside the head by mute, nearly being knocked out of his chair as a rather sour looking sergal stares shepard down, stating dryly "you can seek pennance by joining in our fight against the genosians. currently we already have plans to achieve a slow victory with minimal losses, but with the clone's assistance we could win in half the time if that." with her arms crossed.
