Who's up for a good fight? See me if you like Jurassic Park, Mortal Kombat, and Cthulhu Mythos in one.

Bio

I prefer group RPs and cooperation in between players. Usual characters are superhumans, half-human hybrids, cynics, and Nietzscheans. Usual settings are civil wars, blood feuds, and/or outside-context problems.

Just as Xavier and William were ready to approach the tower, both could notice from a distance that ghouls were near the tower. They were carrying automatic crossbows as their primary weapon. The ghouls were not aware of the operatives' presence and can be either become victims of a sneak attack or assaulted directly. The ghouls looked hideous, but since they were light infantry, they could be taken out fairly easily compared to their cohorts.

Act 1, Chapter 1—Operation Diving Pelican:

March 1st, 2022, the ParaCom operatives were deployed via a Vertical Take-Off and Landing troop transport aircraft. Their commander, Main Officer Arnold Bradley, instructed the squad, “The operation is taking place in the West Coast of the continental US. Paranormal activity has been reported and eyewitnesses reported abductions during the assault. Because there are no civilians, this mission is a search and destroy one for any paranormal activity.” The troop transport landed, allowing the squadron to exit to begin the search and destroy mission against the paranormal.

Though a beach would be relaxing during daytime, the time was of the witching hour, when the paranormal was at peak activity. Sea creatures might rise from the tides. Monsters are definitely on the prowl. Fortunately, the lifeguard tower was nearby and it could prove a very helpful asset. Stores by the beach can provide urban combat and locations of the supernatural enemies. A pier also provided an area to explore. Though it theoretically would have been crawling with the paranormal, the team would have to search and destroy them systematically.

China has the largest military in the world and it's the second richest country but I suppose it would be quite an unfamiliar zone for many, including me. Are we all in different regions?

Every soldier will be at the base. Where it is will most likely be in the USA so we will have extra damage to all our weapons. A simple perk, but quite useful.

If the USA was attacked first then wouldn't it be overrun? or maybe a war zone? what about Europe and Asia? were they attacked later on?

The USA had a Pyrrhic victory against the paranormal. They broke their arm punching the enemy out. The others were attacked later on, but they were of a lesser priority due to the USA having the biggest military during the initial attacks. Europe and Asia are viable regions though. Asia has innovation in science, meaning we can research new stuff faster, just as Europe with engineering meaning we can produce more stuff. South America's bonus is that autopsies and interrogations are efficient and instant, while Africa has 30% bonus to funds. In the areas I presented, there are different perks. North America has bonuses to military might in that our projectile weapons do more damage. In the Middle East, I was considering their perk to be bonus soldiers and Australia faster leveling in promotion.
If needed, I can add three more as reserves. Also, we may vote on where to have our base. Some of the myriad choices include:

Africa
Asia
Australia
Europe
Middle East
North America
South America

I'm leaning towards the US of A myself. But I'd like to see input from players.

Haha! If we do, this might have to be moved to Tabletop RP!Ahem...I think the GM will be rolling everything behind the scenes and reacting to our posts in character (I.E, you miss your shot, the bullets ricocheting off of the reflective metal *insert enemy name* is hiding behind.)Though he may post the results of the statistics n stuff OOC.

Correct. I'll do stuff behind the scenes. OOC will also host statistics and boring stuff. RP thread shall be for the exciting parts.
