Bio: Like her husband, she was a soldier in the Russian federation. Both were lieutenants by the 2020. Thinking he and she were both safe from the attacks, they let their guard down from the paranormal enemies. After the USA was attacked, the paranormal spread to Russia. Both tried to defend each other, but it failed as she was knocked unconscious and her husband, to her knowledge, slain afterwards. Her family, miraculously enough, were not touched. Not believing that her family escaped unscathed, she believed there was a mysterious benefactor

Personality: Stoic, austere, and dead serious are words that describe her well. Alina conceals her broken heart with nothing but a cool determination to end the paranormal menace. She would stop at absolutely nothing to get to the goal. However, not being completely cold, she holds her reserved feelings to those that deserve her trust. She joined the ParaCom for two reasons: To make sure no paranormal attack ever happens and to look for the mysterious benefactor.

Goliath wildly swings with a drunken rage. Charles was able to take him down with the sweep as the punch did not knock out Goliath. The sweep allowed Charles to gain the edge. Whether he would end the fight or kick the giant when he's down was up to Charles. Goliath could get up to retaliate or just give up if he desires. Goliath was down but not out.

Keeping in mind that intoxication impairs fighting ability, I have calculated the factors both men took in and Charles takes the fight to Goliath.

"No. But keep what I said in mind. You are dismissed." Center was at least trying to be stern and fair in his duty. Perhaps if Gath does very well, Center can make a deal with him.

Everyone else either can practice in the shooting range or relax in the recreational lounge. The recreational lounge contained exercise machines and television. Shooting range was heavily regulated like the armory and was right next to the armory. Function was the main goal of the base. Form over that was a losing strategy. As long as all were at their best behavior, nothing should be wrong.

The VTOL ship was just about ready to deploy. Once the team was back at the base in the USA, Main Officer Arnold Bradley, code-named Center, was to debrief and promote the soldiers who earned them. Back at the base...

"So far we have done a decisive victory. With another exemplary performance, we will for sure turn the tables against the supernatural. They will never know what hit them. Burkley and Northway, you are to receive promotions to Corporal. Golubic, Burük, and Gath are to get promotions for their actions, but Gath, I have some words for you. The rest of you are dismissed."

Once all the other soldiers were dismissed, Center would warn Gath of his behavior. "Please do not loot abandoned areas next time. If you were to do that when the civilians were near, it would have tarnished our reputations and cut our funding. That funding is your paycheck too! Acts that lack professionalism are not tolerated in ParaCom and compromising your duties compromises your money. Keep that in mind because they invest trillions on us." He was disapproving because he felt unprofessional behavior would tarnish not just the public image, but also the funding.

Now that the mission was a success, we have three types of missions. Search and Destroy, Terror/Rescue, and Code Red (boss battles). After everyone is secured, we can move onto the next chapter. I hope I'm not leaving anyone hanging. In the mean time, we can discuss if we would like a Search and Destroy or a Terror mission.

The ghoul didn't even try to make a run for it or resist. It was fully captured and was ready to be transported to HQ's Paranormal Containment Facility. For the ghoul, it was damned if it did and damned if it didn't. The mission was a complete success!
