Who's up for a good fight? See me if you like Jurassic Park, Mortal Kombat, and Cthulhu Mythos in one.

Bio

I prefer group RPs and cooperation in between players. Usual characters are superhumans, half-human hybrids, cynics, and Nietzscheans. Usual settings are civil wars, blood feuds, and/or outside-context problems.

Mind if we ask for translations, though?

Because you asked, sure thing. But keep in mind that your character won't be able to understand him unless they are fluent in his native tongue.

ATTENDUM: He is saying in Persian/Farsi this: "Hello? Oh hello! Everything is good? What happened? Oh [expletive], I'm coming!"
The immigrant shifted his eyes for a good hot spot. Concerned of monitoring, he set up his PDA-like smartphone to be anonymous and protected. Bahram has weapons he got from discreet and hidden sources. He decided to make a call to the relative in the US. Once the phone connected, he spoke with a baritone voice in his native language.

"الو؟ اه درود! همه چی خوب؟ چی شده؟ ای گه, الان میام!"

He then moved to near a bench, ready to call a taxi or wait for a bus. He had difficulty with English, but managed to learn some in the Sharif University of Technology, Iran's equivalent to MIT. Bahram also managed to get money from computer related business, albeit his cash is mainly online in bank/credit accounts. The Iranian decided that waiting for a bus would be more economical, doing his best to keep a low profile.
Oh by the way, don't expect Bahram to speak English for a good portion unless he's interacting with the Americans. Keep in mind that I'm going to make it, to my ability, authentic.
Name: Adam Johannson
Age: 29
Race: Human "cyborg" (see biography)
Apperance: Golem parts pattern
Human parts and previous appearance
Personality: The former paladin believed that his humanity is long gone. The experimental treatment mercifully did not destroy emotions. Now a mercenary, he goes for the greatest bidder and believes that the end justifies the means. However, he does have a dark and sardonic sense of humor as a result of his ordeal.
Biography: An otherwise normal crusader/Paladin, he got his golem-like prosthesis limbs after a battle gone HORRIBLY wrong. Feeling like he was no longer worthy of being a crusader, he left his old comrades. This took a toll on his magic abilities as he grew to disdain magic. Looking back, he would always justify his resignation with, "I should have died with honor protecting the innocents." His soul was also fractured due to such a traumatic process during the grafting of the limbs.

From Aragonia: A Fantasy Open Worlded Plot & Character-driven RP
Mystical things RP:

My first CS is right here:

Name - Lawrence "Larry" Schmidt

Race - Human, though can be mistaken for other species

Personality - As a working member of Miami's Police Department, he has a strong sense of justice and sees the world as a chessboard. One of Larry's favored adages was, "Don't waste time on the pawns and go for the king!" Needless to say, he favors a swift and efficient plan. Larry also has a pithy, if not sharp, wit. This means an ironic statement or two might be uttered. Larry also notes that some tales of the supernatural are used to scare weary travelers and superstitious fools, meaning he takes them with a grain of salt. He sees all sentient/sapient beings as people rather than monsters.

Bio - Originally a purely a flesh and blood SWAT officer, he was first in the fray and last one out. However, an injury during his high adrenaline and high paced operations maimed him and though it did not kill him, the devastation he would face at his career being potentially ended was quite immense. He was very good at his job and Larry believed that inexplicable "acts" should not end his distinguished career as an assault officer. Fortunately, he saved enough money for treatment. His thrift and insurance combined made him able to try out experimental artificial limbs. After he returned to the force, his first words to his colleagues were, "Lo and behold! Your very real-life RoboCop!" Although the artificial limbs had their downsides and quirks, Larry considered them more annoyances and merely brushed them off, such as whirring and having to lubricate them for smoother actions.

Appearance - A picture says a thousand words.

Inventory - Concealed G17 pistol, Taser, Kevlar Vest, and other police equipment for undercover work

Age - 30

Second CS:

Name - Bahram Yazdizadeh

Race - Hybrid (half-human, but other half is unknown)

Personality - Bahram has trouble trusting others and looks out for number one. He is alienated as an immigrant and is dead serious. As his family isn't with him in Florida. he developed an "on the run" mindset as he is on his own. He does have a disdain for the feds though as he has heard horror stories of the United States government's past and activities. As he was part of the Iranian military at one point of his past, the US military doesn't scare him. He sees them as "hot of blood and dim of wit." He also has knowledge and skill with weaponry. He knew of the risks from not just crime in Miami, but also the less than friendly flora and fauna.

Bio - Adept at computer science and the technological field, Bahram Yazdizadeh once aspired to become Iran's Bill Gates. He worked with UNIX derived systems such as Linux for ideas on the next OS from an early age. However, the dreams had to be halted as Iran's compulsory military service came once he reached 18 years old. He was taught some tricks of the military as they trained him. Bahram was fortunately a quick learner and excelled, ending his service well, though many inquiries were made into his lineage as he had an air of otherworldly heritage. However, it was concluded that he was adopted rather than being a Djinn or a "bastard from a basket" child. Fortunately, he was allowed to leave the country and immigrate. He tried to take some family members with him, but it could not work out well due to financial problems. As a result, he immigrated to Florida, where one of his relatives is living abroad. The current goal is to get enough money so he can settle his family in California, which is said to be a safer haven for Iranians due to the Tehrangeles ethnic enclave.

Appearance - Red hair and green eyed, he stuck out from his peers even though such a combination exists in the Iranian genome. In fact, the red hair and green eyes were the reasons he was speculated to have otherworldly DNA in him according to local mullahs.

Inventory - PDA/Smartphone for hacking and utility, Makarov Pistol from relative in case of gator attacks, Khanjar dagger for close quarters also for gator attacks

Age - 25

Second CS became final draft and then used.

It's fine. Glad we got that settled. There are no "All-American" restrictions, in fact an outsider looking in would be a cool perspective. So, should I mark Bahram as you're official character and add you to the OP?

Go right ahead! Let's see how the odd one out fares.

@Ubermensch Permission to whom? Me, or you but to decide later?

I meant to you. Excuse me for my vague post. I am also likely to play as Bahram as my official character for my final draft unless there are demands for an all American cast.
I was attempting to give permission to decide for later on for purpose of mystery. Also, while my first CS is combat based, the second CS focuses more on guile and wit.

I vote for Bahram, not that this is a voting situation.

Thanks for your opinion. I planned to put in unknown other half as a plot point so that he can journey to trace his lineage. The lineage in question is all up to the GM to decide.
Miami would be a perfect setting! Only in Florida, where the weirdness happens as well as lax gun laws. I'm also debating which character I should make: A cyborg type due to medical matters or a stealthy outsider type.

NOTE: I will edit the two choices as needed, but I'm stuck between who should I use as my final draft character. American cop or Iranian immigrant...
