EDIT: It is up. I need to know if I can command anything, and if so, what I can command. I would prefer something long the lines of an arms frigate, as that seems appropriate to visit a totally unknown threat.

Australia is pretty big. I am trying for a samurai-airship feel, but it is difficult. I also forgot that I am isolationist and falling from my seat in the golden age. Falling from gold to ruin is not really my play-style, although ruin to gold can work. Could I maybe do a democratic takeover and shorten my land claims to Southeast Asia and a few parts of Indonesia and Australian coastline? Within that, there will still be an arc, but my people will see it as old vs new, you will see it as honor vs evil unless I miss my mark on Asian culture in that period.

Monkey, can we at least split Australia? I just asked for that as a colony. I will take China most likely, except I may base myself in Korea if the history is changeable.

Is 12 to young to start roleplaying?

I would like to thank all of you for your advice, but I would like to say in response to various comments that I actively DM games IRL and on this site (although I will most likely move it to Roll20). Also, as far as the law is concerned, I did not expressly detail my age. I asked a question about a certain age. It may be my nephew, cousin, or friend. I understand this is technical, but from my understanding, that is how US law is built. I must say I am partially offended by some comments, especially ones detailing that I am not capable of handling advanced role-play. Now, in regards to the trust of the GM, I mean to clarify: if it says 18+ due to sum, I generally do not join anyways. If it says 'be an adult', I interpret that as 'be mature'. Also, sin is figurative :-)
