Ultralight here!

Well, this is a work in progress but I think I'll post it now!
These are original characters that I've made. I will be adding more characters as well as more plots in the future. It is very late though, so I'll get so sleep. 
If you fancy a character, then perhaps we can work something out and discuss plots involving them! If you've any questions, feel free to ask.

Thirsting for action, excitement and wealth, Eiji Arakawa may often find himself in the grips of illegal or violent activity. A policeman's worst nightmare, Eiji is both an intelligent and dangerous man who does not falter under pressure. Although he has violent tendencies, he is not unrestrained- he in calculating and usually moves with reason. 
Eiji is socially popular with a charismatic personality and good looks. Many may be drawn to him and when he senses it, he takes advantage. He is humorous and seemingly friendly in normal circumstances, and without seeing it, many wouldn't imagine him to be very dangerous. He plots his actions carefully and is very careful about which people see which sides of himself. 
Personal threats or insults on amuse and humor him - he is always accepting of a challenge. However, he is particularly defensive of the few of those that he favors (whether the feeling is mutual or not). If they are threatened or insulted (even if he only perceives it to be), it will usually be Eiji to react in their honor. Though not necessarily at the moment- he would plot vengeance rather than cause a scene if it was most beneficial. 

 B A C K G R O U N D

Eiji grew up in a poor community, with a both parents. The eldest of three, Eiji has a younger brother and sister - both of whom he cares for deeply. From his relationships wihis siblings, Eiji would appear quite normal- great, even. He is kind and selfless and has never show a bad side of himself to them and he keeps it that way. As a big brother, he has been a protector, a teacher and a friend. He has always shielded his siblings from the harshness of the world, and 'punishes' anyone that has bullied them or taken away their joy. He wishes to help them, puth them in the best circumstances and give them the best opportunities, above all else. 
As a child, Eiji was quite popular and outgoing with an unmatched eagerness- he excelled in sports and academics and made money any way her could, through tutoring, writing essays for his peers, making bets, selling candy - even babysitting. Eventually, gambling and fighting.

There was a point in time in which Junko would refer to herself simply as 'no one'. After surviving an event that claimed the lives of many, Junko was left alone. Frightened and with no place to go, Jun had quickly begun to question life. She had lost hope and, given the harsh conditions she was forced to endure, believed that she would soon die. Faced with her own mortality at such a young age, Junko became quite despondent. 
However, there was a glimmer of hope in her future and she would find companionship, a purpose and a will to live and eventually hope for better things. Perhaps she was desperate for something- anything - to give her life meaning, but she clung to it. After crossing paths with a stray pup, they quickly became traveling buddies. In her future relationships, Junko learns and gives the same she has received from her beloved pet. She is loyal to those she befriends, never tiring or growing impatient. She becomes a caring giving person, willing to do her best to provide for her family. 
Socially, Junko is pretty reserved and quiet. More of a listener than a talker, she is not much of a verbal communicater - rather she speaks with her actions. Through her helpfulness and her affection, her friends know her heart and she is very readable. She is not an introvert, and in fact enjoys the company of others, though she has some social idiosyncrasies and may behave strangely to those unfamiliar with her. She enjoys interacting people and very much loves praise and attention- much as a dog would.

"I'm too old this shit." An oft repeated sentiment of Banri. However, as weary as he may grow, survival is second nature to him. Driven and militant, Ban is a natural leader. Quick to make tough decisions and carrying the burdens of command. With a rough and tough exterior, Ban may seem off putting at first. However, he is a caring man who hopes to see humanity succeed and has a strong loyalty to his allies. Though not physically affectionate or outwardly friendly, his actions speak volumes- from sacrificing his own meals to risking his life for others. He often seems strictly business and is dutiful and puts necessary and supplementary tasks before his own desires and entertainment. He prefers to handle things on his own and requires a great deal of confidence in someone to entrust anything to anyone else.

Although Roselyn is very serious about her responsibilities, it doesn't stop her sarcasm and quick witty remarks. "A little rough around the edges' is a accurate description of Roz - snappy, sassy and defensive, she is not one to tolerate slack or disrespect. She has become hardened through harsh conditions and her personality reflects it. Not afraid to say it like it is, she can be a bit intimidating and bossy. 

Initially, Roz is hesitant to wish to kill anyone, and is saddened by the loss of human life. (If zombies, she initially feels even sympathy for them). However with time and experience, she becomes much more willing to kill in order to defend herself.  

Despite these traits, she has a vulnerable side of her where she's kind and compassionate but she's also stubborn, headstrong, determined, and fearless. Iintelligent and level headed, even in the most dangerous situations.

A very mellow and laid back, cool individual with an intelligent mind. His has a clever, witty sense of humor. To many, he acts as a bit of an older brother - both responsible and charismatic. Medical and technical subjects are his expertise. Though, of course, given the appropriate circumstances, he will fight for his life. Though, physical strength and labor is not necessarily his strong suit. Because his physical strength is just average, he works to balance a team so that no one has to pick up his slack.


The cause of Humanity's fall is up for discussion:
A great big, natural disaster
A wide sweeping, global illness
Vampires, warring demons and angels or other supernatural forces

While acknowledged as intelligent and talented, Rei has a particularly apathetic and unmotivated nature. Given his peace and quiet, he is quite indifferent to events and happenings around him. Known to be blunt and honest, even when his opinion is unwarranted, he struggles with making bonds with people outside of his family. He prefers his solitude and -as his sister says - 'sulk' to himself. He is not social or extroverted by any stretch of the imagination and is actually socially inept. He has a bad temper, gets easily annoyed, is impatient and quite unempathetic. 
In a sense, Rei feel alone. For many years, he has considered himself a burden to others. As such, he hates to be doted on and greatly needs his independence. He hates for others to worry about him, he struggles to ask for help or accept it. Conversely, he likes to feel needed (though he wouldn't admit or give the impression). 

B A C K G R O U N D
The Yoshida family is a family of shapeshifters, whose abilities stretches for generations. The ability to willfully shift is greatly mastered, so they live amongst normal humans- work, go to school, build relationships. However, since his childhood, Rei has been predominantly limited to the family's grounds. Due to an illness and a compromised immune system, Rei frequently was bed ridden. His weakened state left him unable to complete control his shifting ability and when injured or ill, he would transform. Rendering him unable to interact with the outside world. 
Once he was well enough, he was granted permission to leave the grounds so long as he was supervised for short periods of time. He simultaneously felt relieved and out of place... excited and uncertain. As he got older and his health improved, he finally attended public school. 

Note:
We can have an inhome veterinarian visit him and a relationship grows.

A classmate befriends him, and (as his health deteriorates again) becomes concerned.

Apocalypse Ideas

In the near future, Earth has become a nearly inhospitable land. The strongest and most desperate to live have survived. The world's population has been drastically diminished. Approximately twenty to twenty-five percent of the human population remains and the numbers continue to drop. Resources have been limited, homes and family destroyed. In the war for life, when humanity should be pulling together, relations have grown tense. 
Every man for themselves in this dog eat dog world. 
Survival of the fittest. 
It is hard to trust in such conditions- who can you depend on? And who will betray you?

Enemies can be vampires or zombies that carry a virus. 
If the former, perhaps some human create alliances of sorts with vampires to ensure their own safety. (For a twist, perhaps some vampires come to humanity's aid).


A rebellious creature...
Ungrateful, selfish, vain and cruel at heart. 
Sinful. 
Wicked. 
The nature of the human race has be under speculation for as long as they have existed.
The Gods have watched them wreak havoc. 
The Gods have watched the lands be demolished. 
The Gods have watched the people become corrupt. 
Signs. Warnings. Punishments. All seemed for naught, as humanity always returned to their evil ways. 
Angels and Demons have warred over humanity. 
The Gods have been spited. 
As humanity is consumed by darkness, the Gods inflict the ultimate punishment. 
The cleansing of humanity. 

We've been forsaken.

The war between demons and angels is here. And each respective race has rallied humans in hopes to reclaim the Earth for the new era.


Following the tragedy of World War Four (WWVI), Earth is left in pieces. Use of nuclear weapons has wiped out much of the population and only a fraction remains. Nuclear radiation has mutated some, others have found hope (or at least temporary safety) with Factions. Regulated communities as society pulls together for survival. Explore life in or around a Faction.

Mental Asylum


Historically, Mental Asylums have been less than kind and humane. Honestly, some of the things that took place is nothing short of horror story fodder. This may take place in historical, modern or futuristic in an alternate timeline/universe. 

Salem Mental Institution for the Chronically Ill - an Institution that operates under the guise of helping mentally ill. In reality, that's hardly the case - if you are not suffering you've either been completely 'tamed and domesticated' by their standard or have been drugged. 

Shock treatments. Lobotomies. Chemically induced seizures. Torture. Social isolation. Treatments are controversial, but many of the patients are with family. Even if they have family, they just may accept or ignore the methods and treatments. A society fearful of the mentally ill, many consider Salem a godsend - keeping the 'crazies' off the streets. 

Through the apathetic, lethargic and indifferent faces, our characters find friendship (possibly romance) in each other. Looking out for one another, they create a bond. Until one is threatened with a dangerous procedure (optional). They plot their escape.

The U.S. Supreme Court rules segregation of America's public schools as unconstitutional. 

A decision that changed lives, gave opportunities to minorities that were otherwise denied. With the doors opened, they were finally on long the path toward equality...
Or so it seemed. 
Protests, threats and violence followed the decision. A fury with which America was familiar; racial turmoil again ripped through through the states. Integrating students were oft met with unwelcoming arms. Cursed, criticized and spat on, many were met with difficulty at the gate. 
This is a story of struggle and hate. As well as a tale of overcoming, love and prosperity. 

With disapproval from family, friends, peers, neighbors and the general public, two classmates embark on a journey that tests  strength, loyalty, love, peer pressure and prompts them to delve into a new experience that challenges their views of the world. 

Either high school or University is acceptable. 
I think this would be very interesting to explore. Racism. Peer pressure. Characters being put in difficult situations. Building trust. Straining relationships. Family criticism. Desiring acceptance. Being a social pariah. All with the struggles of being a student. 

For this I prefer to play as an African American female.
Can be as dark or light and fluffy as we choose. Given the subject though, there will inevitably be some ugliness to it. We can only bring light to a dark situation.


A closeted young man finds himself in the throes of a relationship with another man. He has gained a reputation of the neighborhood 'tough guy'. In their urban community, homosexuality is not always welcomed. His own father, vehemently against it. With the occasional sexual endeavor, at first things are fine. Though as emotions and intimacy grows, he finds it difficult to keep his secrets under wraps. Pressured into sleeping with women and watching his partner move on, he becomes jealous and wreaks havoc on his under cover lover's love life. Unable to give him a relationship but unable to let him move on with anyone else.

Supernatural


After naively pursuing the killer of his/her beloved (brother, mother, father, sister, lover, whatever), a young hunter(ress) finds herself in the clutches of his/her intended target. A vampire, the very creature she despises, is the one to show her mercy. After a near death experience as a result of a failed encounter with a vampire, Muse A's life is saved. Much to their disgrace, A has become the very bane of their existence - a dreadful creature that thrives on the death and suffering of others. It is in this experience that they struggle with temptation - faces their own humanity, wrongdoings and hypocrisies. A wise vampire teaches and displays traits that A never though possible from monstrous vampires. Offering their own blood, the vampire insists that their blood will eventually fail to quench the thirst - feeding on a human, will eventually become necessary. How will A cope with this turn of the tides - how will they face their human friends, as the enemy.
