Question: how is telepathy supposed to feel? Is it like finding someone else in your house because you never thought to lock the front door? Is it like having someone stick their finger in your open mouth? Or more like a surprise cavity search? Does it feel like getting an unexpected IV? Or none of the above?

While shaking Bay's hand Robert answered," Do? You mean speak seven languages? I picked up a bit of Wushu. I'm a pretty good motorcycle racer. I can bake nearly anything to perfection and I make a mean omelette. I also am no stranger to large scale gardening. And I'm a strong swimmer." He laughed as he let his hands fall to his side. " Hash tag humble brag or I guess in this case it's just brag. A prompted brag, mind you, but still a brag. That's not really all there is to me but those are usually some first date, break the ice kind of things, you know?" Robert scratched the back of his head as he looked at Bay and continued to speak," But unless you mean any of that and I have a feeling that you don't, then I'm afraid you lost me."

Robert emerged from his thoughts at the arrival of this newcomer. Knocking his hat off of his head and onto bed while putting down his bag, Robert stood up to meet the new boy. "Hello,I'm... "he paused, thinking back to his earlier introduction,"well, I guess I'm Rob now. Short for Robert Connor Kim. But you can call me Kim. You can call me Con. Just don't call me later for dinner." He laughed and extend his right hand.

"Well that was embarrassing," Robert muttered to himself after the girl had gone. "It's going to be a long…" he paused in the middle of his muttering. He didn't know how long he would be here. He began to hum "Blitzkrieg Bop" as he slipped on his hat and readjusted his bag. He left the room and went looking for his gemstone. He didn't know the name of gemstones but he could match the one in the ring one his finger to one on a door or so he hoped. He eventually found the room. The door had his gemstone and another that he didn't recognize on it. He went inside wondering how many people had been invited to this strange event. He didn't count but there were quite a few in the room earlier and he couldn't rule out that there were more. He wondered what exactly was going on here as he sat on a bed deep in thought.

Terry looked at the spectacle with growing disinterest. It became obvious that the two might have intended to brawl but there was going to be an awful lot of trash-talking first. At each development, his boredom became more pronounced. When Flinders ended everything, he slinked out of the auditorium while smirking. "Ah, I love the smell of intimidation and humiliation in the morning," he thought as he turned left, walking without quite knowing where he was going.

"Oh where is my head?"Robert said, "I'm Rab... um.. Rob." Robert stopped fiddling with his ring and extended his hand."Apparently, planted firmly up my ass"he thought,Rob? No one has ever in the history of ever referred to you as Rob. Calm down and get it together, man. He looked at the girl and smiled again hoping his face didn't betray his nervousness. It usually didn't but he was doing especially poorly today. "Do you know where everyone is going?" he asked,"I'm bit a late to the party so I'm a bit out of the loop."

Well, generally energy absorption is fine unless you want to absorb a myriad of types of energy in that way. With that ability you can be untouchable, in that all you need to do is absorb all the hits a character deals out then flick them with the collected energy to kill them. Then turn around and absorb all the energy attacks from someone else and... omg! Is he doing the kamehameha wave! Kinda broken. If you limit the types of energy you can absorb (not kinetic) to one or two then that would be fine by me.

I hadn't even thought about that but I get it. I can just limit it to radiation and plasma. Also when you said, "he is affected by it," earlier what type of effects did you mean?

Terry sat in the back of the auditorium shrouded in shadows. He had picked a spot a good distance away from most but also near an exit. He observed everything silently. He realized that this place would be quite good for him. He decided that it could make him into what he needed to become. He took everything that happened in the auditorium in stride. Terry stood when the lights came on and tried to quickly and quietly make it to the exit, when suddenly, a small disruption in the lull of exiting students arose. He took a step towards the altercation thinking he should intervene. He stopped and just decided to watch. He reasoned that Flinders probably would not do anything to stop the two guys but perhaps Jinx would. If she did, he was curious to see what action would be taken. If she didn't, then he wanted to stick around and see what these two guys were about. Either way, he decided that he would stick around but stay out of the way, for now.
