Alright-- I'm not really in advocacy of homosexuality or anything similar, but nor do I condemn it unless it starts going out of hand (see: Tumblr).

So I'll say this: when you start thinking a massive conspiracy to overturn society through the power of man-on-man smooching is going on, maybe it's high time you should start checking yourself.
In the past few pages, we've rolled enough bunches of straw to make a big, big man.

Look at what you've all done. Burn it down.

And maybe try actually posting some unpopular opinions here. I don't have any, or I can't think of something EDGY in my mind right now, so how about you all get back to doing what this thread was made for?
this thread has gone from "ok" to /pol/ tier in less than a day.

holy fuck.

But anyway, I knew many were going to rage at the "fabricated opinions" one, so I just kind of put it there for ironic purposes. Not that I'm dismissing the thought that there's still some that seem fake as hell to me, though.
HOWEVER I need to warn you that you shouldn't go around calling people that exhibit female behavior as a male (or vice versa) as female, because I'm sure not everyone will appreciate that.

That's quite common knowledge, but in most cases it's the other way around. Call a male exhibiting female behavior as "he" and you might want
to back away as an emergency.

False. First of all, L G and B represent sexualities (namely lesbian, gay, bisexual) and not genders, so you already sounded stupid right off the bat. While I agree that all genders that aren't normative are there for attempts at being special snowflakes, there are only 2 genders.

Science agrees with me -- the definition of a gender is:

<Snipped quote>

So as you can read here gender essentially boils down to stereotypical behavior often associated with one of the two sexes. That means that gender is limited to two options (and not three like you said). However sex and gender do not correlate specifically -- yes if you are male you have a high chance (99.9%, yes I pulled that % out of my ass, but it's a very large chance) that you are actually going to be male gender. Because of testosterone and such. Same with women and hormones.

However there are people who are male in sex and female in behavior or, otherwise, often act more feminine than masculine. These people are transgender. However 'transgender' is not a specific gender so you are female sex wise, male gender wise, in 1 person.

There is no room for different genders, you can't be a-gender, gender-fluid, or anything like that. Scientifically/sociologically/biologically impossible. Your gender is just the average of behavior, measured over a set of stereotypes that are biologically/scientifically founded.

You're male or female. No other genders exist. And LGB(T) is not a gender. Sorry. And that's not even beginning to touch on the social and cultural influences on gender.

Hold on-- isn't the biological concept called "sex", and the mental concept "gender"? (Or sexuality, which is what you just used.) Or so, perhaps, that's what all the SJ crap I'm used to seeing from maintaining a Tumblr art blog and trying to ignore the bullshit that gets on my dashboard say.

Nevertheless, what you just said is what I actually mean. Perhaps it wouldn't be good that a mere vocabulary difference caused such a fuss.

Anyway, I'd like to add that some of the opinions here might also be actually not really unpopular; or at least, if context is taken outside of the RPG community. Plenty of people are already sticking the "cancer" brand on Undertale since a long time ago.
Extra care must be taken when making gun transactions or performing security checks (especially in airports) with Muslims. While it's not really all too pleasant to most people, there should be some precautionary measures given their recent tendencies of being fuse and trigger-happy.

No extra "gender" exists outside of L, G, and B. Anything else afterwards either simply seems to be a regular preference being tried to be given special status, or a ridiculous (and often half-assed) attempt at being a special snowflake.

A majority of the "opinions" in this thread are merely fabricated, and do not really match with the poster's actual viewpoints. Unless, of course, making people rage with your own two counterfeit cents was the point.

Merkel is an ass for having to oblige EU to go make and obey laws nobody wanted.

Overwatch is fine as it is now, but I see it going the way of FNAF, Undertale and Sonic within the next 3 months. In fact, I'm already seeing an abnormal amount of malignancy within its fan/playerbase. (This is coming from someone that hasn't even played the game yet, however.)

Most of RPG's RPs are becoming uncreative, especially within the Fandom category. Their premises are all too similar, too many of them come from the same source material, and many GMs just pick whatever is popular, even if it's not really plausible.

Very slightly to the right.

I remember being more economically left when taking the test from politicalcompass.org. Possibly the different set of questions asked. Regardless, I pretty much agree that I'm at the center social-wise.

I cringed on some of the questions, however. Not going to go into detail on that one.
