Oh wait, I have a big question, is stuff like Midora's post okay? Adding enemies to the game and giving them set AI or whatever? Or is that a nono?

It's good, so long as the enemies are appropriate to the over all mission type (So in this case no Sectopods, Muton Elites, or Ethereals)

I am def a screwball. Just....Just let me be a retard for a second while I get my things together. Also, we were shot at by mutons, can we see said mutons or are they gone now? If what i do now is not good, just note that I had no clue about this bit.

Sorry about the delay, yes you can see the mutons. Sorry, it was my fault for not being clearer
Marius waited for the others to get out, seeing as he took up the most room and his landing is more, "unorthodox". There was no way any of the rappel cords would hold him, so instead he just jumped. The street cracking and breaking beneath his feet as the behemoth landed. Standing upright he disengaged the safeties on his weapon, before moving forward. From the sounds of it the squad had already mad contact.

“Enemy confirmed, on motel roof, giving chase”

Marius keyed his own comm, "Roger Torkel, remember not to get isolated." He moved up to where Greg was taking cover and motioned Stanley to follow him, but to stay behind him. Working his way into the Gas station, everything seemed normal, until a bolt of green shot out from behind the counter. The shot passed close enough that it cause the MEC's shielding to flair. "Damage minimal, scanning for origin.". The scanners had an easy enough time spotting the shooter, it was a hulking figure clad in green armor, that had hidden behind the counter, immobile until it had shot at the MEC. Behind the figure Marius could also make out two other similarly shaped figures.

"Mutons spotted, engaging." Marius broadcasted over comms, as he brought his Particle cannon to bear on the enemy. Which after the short whine of warm up roared to life the lethal beam of particles, ripping the Muton's shoulder apart. Still there was two more to handle
The dim light, carried over from the city, bathed the warehouses in an eerie glow. The two ASF officers stood out front of warehouse 19, the red glow of a cigarette lighting up one of their faces, and outlining the other in its pale light. "God will you just put that thing out already?" The nonsmoker asked the other, coughing and waving his hand in front of his face to clear the smoke "It's almost like you want to get written up again." The other cleared his lungs, a smoke cloud drifting away from him when he did so. "And what are they going to write me up for? huh? Smoking on the most boring guard duty assignment in history? I mean what are we guarding, bunches of crates o'nothing. Thats what." He took a long drag, once more illuminating the two.

From his vantage point above, Simon had no trouble making out the two, his goggles cutting through the night like a lamp. He was flanked by two "associates", each dressed similarly to him. All three waiting. Finally the comm-set each had crackled to life, "S1, this is watcher. They bit hard with James, they must think the poor sap knows something special, I swear I just saw the mayor leave."

Keying his own Simon spoke in a low an quietly, as to not alert the arguing guards bellow "Roger, see if your team can extract him. While he doesn't know anything of particular value about us or our operation, it might be best to deny them the victory of catching a small time crook."

"Roger" was the quick reply

Turning to his two fellows, he tapped his mic twice and then turned his hand over flat, The signal for a comms blackout. As one the switched their head sets off and moved the mic to the resting position. After this, each one of the men slowly slid off of the roof, and onto the second story ledge. Inching forward slightly, Simon positioned himself over the smoker. Flicking his knife from its holster, he hung from the small ledge and dropped the last three feet to the ground. Years of training taught him how to absorb the impact enough that a slit tap was all the guards head, and considering how absorbed into their argument on regs, it was no surprise they didn't hear. Working his way forward, Simon seized the smoker from behind, his left hand clamped over his mouth as his knife was driven home through his back. The non smoker jumped, but didn't even get to utter a word before one of the others was on him. After wiping the blood off on the guards uniform, Simon made his way to the front door. Opening it slowly he crept inside the darkened Warehouse. After it had been sufficiently cleared the three gathered in the main storage room. Immediately Simon began searching for something. As he was doing this one of the others spoke "Sir? What exactly are we looking for in here? Looks like nothing but clothing imports. Explains the lack of guards."

"For something that doesn't belong, yet dose. We are looking for three of them in fact." He replied as he search a stack of new arrival crates. Finally after less than two minutes he found what he was looking for, a crate that was slightly bigger than the others, and had a barely noticeable seem running along part of it. Motioning the others to help him They lifted the box above the seam, the result was a normal sized box of cloths and one other box. "Tell me." Simon said as they lifted the box, "What is the best way to hide something?" Sliding open the lid on the newly uncovered box he was presented by various, military grade firearms and ammunition. "In plain sight my friend, in plain sight. Now go get the truck." The shipment was the second of five scheduled ones, each in a different warehouse, each delivered by a different ship, each disguised and smuggled aboard at the last moment so they wouldn't show up on the manifest as being oversize.

As he waited for his associate to bring the disguised repair van they used for transport, Simon reactivated his comm, and waited for the Watcher to report back. He didn't have to wait long as he received a signal "S1, this is watcher. Well they killed him, must have figured out he knew nothing or he reached his max. New orders?"

Simon sighed "Alright activate Phoenix protocol, he served our needs well. This time, make it look like and electrical fire, were trying to leave a small footprint."

As he was waiting for a reply the van pulled up, the was driver already in his street clothes, having changed before going back to the watched streets as to not arouse suspicion. Simon had to grin a bit, at the fake tattoo the wound it's way around his subordinates neck and glasses. Opening the back he threw two bags of clothes at the two still in Tac armor. Quickly they changed and applied the fake scars and various other small changes to their appearance enough to fool the camera shots that might be taken of them. Storing the Bags of Tac armor in the back the three, newly clothed night workers set about carrying the three half crates and stacking them in the back of the van. After which they disposed of the bodies by spraying them with ammonia and dumping them in the bay, they also sprayed any blood on the ground .

Objectives completed they all piled into the van and began to fall back to their base, that was when watcher came back. "S1, Phoenix is lit. it's going to burn for a while. Getting out of here. See you at home." A glow in the far distance told Simon that the building had indeed been set alight.

_______
The dawn was breaking when they pulled into the underground parking garage in one of the "Resistance districts".

Pulling around to the back of the Parking Garage the van stopped in front of a large exhaust grate, and unloaded its passengers who began changing out the plates on the van, removing any fake damage and even simulating dirt on the tops of some the tire rims. After this was done two of the passengers began unloading, while the third punched a code into a hidden keypad. A click was heard as the exaust grate and fan slid aside to reveal a tunnel. After a few twists and turns, an opening another door, this time a blast door made of thick steel and rick to look like just another dead end in the tunnel maze, while remaining strong, they came to the main hideout. As the two other Shadow Hunt operatives and the newly returned Watcher finished carrying in the crates, Simon slumped down on the couch, not even bothering to take a shower to remove the fake identifiers, there would be time enough for that after a nap.

It's a new thing in Enemy within, sometimes the team rappels down from the skyranger
Marius grinned as the sniper booked it to the plane, shifting over a bit to allow her room to finish putting on her gear his simply replied to her apology his voice, monotone and robotic, a side effect of the MEC suit, "It's alright, at least you got here before the door closed." Almost as if that was a prediction, the door on the VTOL's bay slowly closed as the engines began to rumble as they lifted the craft and it's cargo into the air. Once they were free of the confines of the stronghold, the rumble of the lift engines slowly changed into the whine of the main drive engines.

Inside Marius swallowed, even with heavy augmentations he hated this part. Not because he was traveling over the earth at speeds that make sound seem relatively slow, but because of what it did to his stomach. He normally had no problem with flying, but when they hit the sound barrier, it sent his stomach lurching. He was able to keep it all down, but that still didn't help the discomfort when the plane shook as it hit the barrier. Luckily he was able to keep his face passive as well, not a hard feat for a MEC trooper, as when your head is full of weapon stats, firing arks and damage reports, emotion becomes a conscious effort to show.

His thoughts were interrupted by the holo screen flickering to life, a map of Vienna painting itself in the light. As the light show went on Bradford's voice came over the comms. "Alright Sigma, you are being deployed here." A red dot appeared on the map "This square seems to still contain some civilians, your mission is simple you are to clear the area of hostiles and save as many civilians as you can. While you are doing that Ravens 1-3 will work on drawing the battleship away from the city." Bradford's voice faded out, replaced by the pilots "We are 5 minutes out, secure gear and weapons, i'm going to have to drop you and wont be able to land until you clear the LZ."

"Understood" Marius replied as the text in the corner of his eye scrolled across with "Objectives updated. Turning his attention back to his squad he checked the current ammo on his Particle Cannon "You heard him. Load up and lock down, from the sounds of it we are going to be in the thick of it from the minute we hit pavement."
Leader, if that's alright.
Name: Simon Keria
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Faction: Shadow Hunt (Resistance)
Area of Expertise: Spy/Assassin
Personality: Eccentric and charismatic are two words that could be used to describe Simon quite well. That being said, beneath the friendly exterior lies the calm, patient killer the Simon is.

Strengths:
Xanatos Speed Chess - Plans are fluid, they should be allowed to adjust and evolve, and if necessary, to fail. But that is always why you have back up plans for the back up plans, each able to adapt and evolve to the situation, because "No plan survives contact with the enemy."
Utopia Justifies the Means - Simon is willing to give everything to achieve his goals, even if that means harming the bystanders
Stealth Expert - All that hard training isn't for show. Simon can literally disappear into any crowd, shadow, and if he doesn’t want to be found there isn't much anyone can do.
Assassin - A cold, quiet killer, Simon is adept at killing his targets in their weakest state, be it publicly or privately. As such he has mastered several weapons.

Weaknesses:
Well-Intentioned Extremist - Although he means well, he is not above harming others to achieve his goals, though he has shown to be loyal to those who follow him.
No Place for Me There - Though he is fighting for a better future, he acknowledges that a "Utopia", even a better world has no place for people like him. As such he is willing to take risks others wouldn't, even if they seem detrimental.
Be All My Sins Remembered - He knows he is no hero, and sees no illusion of this. As such he knows what he does might be seen as 'evil', but he simply doesn't care about what people see as 'Heroes' and 'Villains' anymore, so convincing him of it's importance is like trying to move a mountain.

History of Shadow Hunt: Originally starting as a PMC that contracted out to the government for less than savory work, which the government needed to be able to deny. As time went on however Shadow Hunt became more and more involved with the darker parts of the government, seeing as it truly was. Growing more and more disillusioned by this a sect of the company, led by Simon, broke away. The result was a intercompany civil war that ended with those of Shadow Hunt that were loyal to the Government, ether being “removed” by the opposition or disappearing. The large group of elite soldiers that followed Simon were branded as rebels and terrorists by the Government, eventually consolidating themselves into the Shadow Hunt resistance force, a secretive resistance that takes a more, direct, approach to getting their point across.

Background: Simon Keria was born to Vera Keria and Thomas Keria. Simon grew up a normal kid; he never really stood out until he reached collage age. That was when he and his friends found themselves cornered by *Information redacted* Needless to say they made it out alright, Simon himself was approached by Capt.*Name redacted* who had witnessed the event. Offering Simon an ‘internship’ as it were. Accepting Simon entered into the Shadow Hunt Organization around the age of 19. He showed promise as a Stealth operative after the Germantown Incident, and so was slotted for training. He learned quickly, outperforming most of the instructors as well. When the Schism began forming Simon showed great amounts of charisma and planning, and was able to convince over 90% of the Spec Ops teams to follow him. As of now he operates out of one of the overrun districts, the exact location is unknown, due to the fact he has taken multiple steps to hide his base off of all grids that are tapable from the outside world.
Appearance: Simon stands at around 6’2’’, with dark brown hair and gray eyes. When not “Working” he wears a normal pair of jeans and usually some form of T-shirt or button up shirt with a hooded coat. When working he wears his Combat Gear (yes those are night vision/Infa red goggles. No they don’t shine like that, though they are red tinted.) No matter what he is wearing, his knife isn’t far from his hand.
Almost done!
