I'd like to point out that I don't believe that is the case. One thing I've learned throughout the years is that not everything has a complicated explanation.

Thanks, but it pales in comparison to my original one that I don't remember. I just remember it was something about underlying human nature and "dna memories"/instincts/etc. Anyway, it would be nice to be able to test that or have some evidence for it either way.
