I'm still dealing with conflicting emotions from what happened with Araby. I still love her, but I can't, and yet I do. I shouldn't be loving her, but I do, and it hurts.

Love hurts. But I'm not really the guy to talk about love with. I've never loved in a romantic way.

My da rarely asks about it.

Mine asks about all.

Okay, rule number one (which took me forever to learn): Never, EVER, under ANY circumstances tell your parents ANYTHING that isn't absolutely necessary. It NEVER works out in your favor if you do.

That rule doesn't work either, if your dad is good enough to be an FBI interrogator.

So how have you been, Spirit? It's actually been a while.

Well, I tried to tell my da that it was just like writing a story in which one of the characters was a girl, but Da is still adamant about thinking about it.

Well, just don't turn into a nancy boy (I think that's the term) and everything'll be peachy.

To be frank, then that sucks for him.

Or you. Or me, who knows?

Also, on this subject: My parents are contemplating (albeit not really seriously) pulling me off of roleplaying because of recent events, most notably David turning into a girl. I told you I had bad feelings about that.

They read this? It's only a story, anyways.

He might try to attack me, and then I'd be forced to defend myself, but otherwise, I'm cool, calculating, and collected during a debate. Intimidation is simply a ruse that doesn't affect me.

No attacky-tacky. He's no criminal. He's just got the classic tough guy you don't want to mess with look. And he may get offended if lectured about parenting style.

I'd seriously love to have a talk with your dad. We'd see who would win out in the end. I've said so before; I don't let anyone pick on my friends, whether it be family or Internet people.

He's intimidating, too. Like the only person I'm scared of. 6'5, 250 lbs. and still shows signs of being quick to anger. I don't know if you of all people could finish an argument with him without something serious taking place.
