Well, you can't, really. A barrier of some sorts will lessen it significantly though. Bloody Needles can be blocked by a solid object, and will stop if it is strong enough, but if you break off the blood at all, Crona controls more projectiles. Plus, he can change the direction of bloody needles. However, if you wish to attack him, never use cutting. Only use blunt, forceful attacks. Never energy, unless you can provide something similar to a soul wavelength. Something that would go through him, like sound; his blood may or may not be an electrical conductor.

Would using energy that acts as solid matter work?

Why not? And David's past was meh, um... I guess Tempo and Rhythm, but they didn't really have a past. Melody, I guess, but she was activated as X was going crazy with darkness, and... I dunno.

So on the pony roleplaying site I'm on, since they've gotten popular, they attract a lot of really young kids and other sorts of noobs, most of which are utterly terrible at RPing, and there was this one, Novastar. He used teh and u in his posts constantly, broke canon by talking about violence and being able to call a bloody giant eagle from the sky, and:"Bakc pakc" is said numerous times."sya sas" is found somewhere there too. He is by far the worst RPer we've seen there yet, even worse than... eugh... Bubblegum123. That fiasco was utterly terrible and caused the admin to turn off registration for a while. It's a long story, but I can say it if you want to hear it.
